Is there a way to recover a file in Microsoft Picture It Express 10?

With the help of Microsoft Picture It! Express 10, I was photo editor and accidentally saved the file edited without changing the name. It replaced the original file. The original has essential information, which seems to be lost.  Is it possible to get it back? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello

It is not possible for the overwritten file recovery. However, you can seek recovery software from third-party data that could retrieve this file.

As long as you don't use third-party software, or deliberately deleted all files related Thunderbird must keep information. Thunderbird should automatically and then use this information. The information is in the Thunderbird profile

Thanks for posting the question in the Microsoft Community. It seems that files have been deleted from the Recycle Bin and you want to get it back.

You should maybe use your favorite search engine and the search for a third party recovery tool and check:

  • Is there a way to recover the EFS encrypted files stored on an external drive without the origianl certificate?

Is there a way to recover the EFS encrypted files stored on an external drive without the original of the certificate?

I had photos/files stored on an external drive and have been encrypted with EFS in XP. The main drive crashed, all keys have been lost. Got a new main drive, installed the new OS and now can't access encrypted files.

Unless you can retrieve parts of your old drive or have a backup of your encryption certificate, you have probably lost all of your encrypted data.  Recovery agents work only if they are in place when the file/folder is initially encrypted.  A program like AEFSDR might be able to resurrect your old certificate from your old drive if it is readable at all.  If you plan to use EFS in the future, make sure you read the following article the court - particularly paragraph entitled "why you should back up your certificates.

    # Software is necessary.

First check the recylcl tray. If she isn't here, read the following:

"Deleting" a file does not delete actually it brand just space be used. There are third-party programs that can sometimes recover deleted files. The problem is that the space used by the file is likely to be replaced very quickly, and this makes the unrecoverable file.

So your chances of successfully recover this file are decent, if you try it again immediately after deleting it and quickly down. If you have used the computer since then (for example to read this answer and write that question), your chances may be very weak now.

But if the file is large enough, it's still worth a try. Stop using the computer in question immediately, if you haven't done so already. Download an undelete program (in here is one: http://www3.telus.net/mikebike/RESTORATION.html but there are many other choice; do a search) on a friend's computer and bring it to you on a diskette, CD, or drive to the thumb.

If that fails, your only recourse is to bring or send the drive to a professional file recovery company. This kind of service is very expensive and may or may not work in your case.

  • Is there a way I can share files between users on the same Mac without an internet connection?

    Hello world!

Quick question here: is there a way I can share files between users on the same Mac without an internet connection?

I have two users say that A and B. If I go the long way via the 'Go' menu > 'Computer', I ended up being told to contact my computer or the network administrator for assistance. Both users are admin one and file sharing is allowed in system preferences... I have to admit that I use 10.9.5 because my MacBook Pro would not work with OS Xs national parks.

Any ideas would be cool because I'm sure that it used to work fine with "Snow Leopard" without being connected to the internet - or should I just send an email to myself and recover the files on the other user :-) to recover my USB is

Is there a way to recover deleted history sites? Also, a way to prevent unauthorized users to erase history?

You need administrative rights to do this. Be careful as it is possible to easily create a very difficult to solve waste.

    Run gpedit.msc

    Reach

    -User configuration

    -Administrative templates

    -Windows components

    -Internet Explorer

    -Delete browsing history

Disable the feature turned on 'delete browsing history '.

You also probably want to configure

    -InPrivate

    Disable the active InPrivate browsing

If you use IE8; Otherwise, the user can simply avoid registering in the first place.

    Also - the browser menus

Tools menu: Disable Internet Options... menu active

would be a good thing; Anyone who shouldn't be allowed to delete the history of should not be also change too much in the Internet Options.

For some reason, changes to this setting of group policy have no effect in IE6 and IE8 on a workgroup computer XP Pro.

In fact, I would like to disable the entire Tools menu item; However, there don't seem to be any means to do.

    Run gpupdate /Wait:0

Any user who cannot access gpedit.msc, editing the registry (regedit.exe, regedt32.exe) or mmc.exe may re-activate it now grayed out in the menu items.

Note: mmc.exe can be activated by right clicking my computer even as a limited user. Remove or deny permissions to these files for administrator users.

I would like to configure them on a per user or user group basis. Does anyone know of a way to do by not part of a domain?

I know no direct way to recover deleted history sites. Perhaps, they enter the trash somewhere. They may be captured by the network of monitoring programs, even if they have been deleted from the personal computer.

  • Is there a way to recover Microsoft Outlook data after reinstalling Vista?

I had to reinstall Vista Ultimate to solve a problem on my computer (as the manufacturer helpdesk told me), and then all the old data on the C drive has been erased. This was done in a hurry, and I don't remember to keep all Outlook files (and then lost all emails, contacts, entered calendar etc.). Is there a way to recover these data now?

If you have an installation clean back to factory settings, you normally wiped your hard drive clean during the process.

    You can try this program:

    http://www.SnapFiles.com/get/Recuva.html

Recuva is a file undeletion tool that allows you to analyze your hard drives or media cards for files that have been deleted or formatted. It presents you a list of files that have been found, as well as an assessment of their potential for recovery, a preview option, and a hex viewer to inspect the content. You can limit your search to files of a certain type (e.g. images, audio etc.) and choose between a quick and a thorough analysis approach. The program also includes a secure deletion option that allows you to permanently delete files that were found while parsing, to avoid any future recoveries.

Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

    Hello

What version of Windows are you using?

If it is deleted from the memory card, it can not be recovered. However, there are some third-party applications or the tool that will help you recover photos. If you have saved the pictures on the hard drive and deleted, so you can check in the trash.

    original title: product key

    Hello

As you have lost the product key of the Tower, it is a preinstalled operating system and you will need to contact the manufacturer of your computer.

They give you a different product key.

What you can do now is ask them to send you a set of recovery disc for the computer model reinstall the operating system to how it was when new.

Also while you are in contact with them, if you never receviced a reinstall to purchase drive, ask them how to make the recovery discs to do the same thing, if you still have access to the recovery partition.

None of these methods of resettlement requires normally allows you to provide a product key during Installation, the recovery process uses the Installation product key factory to activate automatically during the resettlement process.

Hi, I deleted my acrobat application on my mobile by mistake and therefore lost all of my files... Is there a way to retrieve pdf files... I didn't save any to my laptop? Re

    Hijosephinek95123236,

PDF files are not saved in the application. They must be in the local memory of the mobile device or if they are stored on the cloud of document, then they will be available under the cloud of document tab.

Please reinstall the Acrobat Reader application on your mobile device to access the document.

To transfer the PDF files from mobile device on laptop: -.

If the files are saved on the cloud of document, then you can access the file on your laptop using this link https://cloud.acrobat.com/folder/7efb457b-c1b5-4d6b-89d1-96b1ede2a167 , the files can be downloaded from here.

Otherwise, if the files are on the local memory of the mobile device, then you can send the file or transfer them using a data cable.

  • Is there a way to recover from a backup firefox sync?

I reinstalledy my win7 box recently. It ' a windows.old with the original installation directory. Is there a way to get the key out of the .old directory synchronization? I don't know where the things of customization are stored, but no doubt there is a file or something that I can copy in my new installation so my sync can keep working without wipe me everything?

Lesson learned, save the key to recovery somewhere you will remember!

If you have a backup of the Firefox profile folder you can copy the file signons.sqlite and signons3.txt in one Firefox profile folder.

You can check if you can find the key to the synchronization in the password manager.

Make a backup of the he signons3.txt and signons.sqlite files if you already saved passwords or create a new profile and copy the files in the profile folder to inspect these files.

The "Application Data" in XP/Win2K folder and the folder "AppData" in Vista/Windows 7 are hidden folders.

You can find the password synchronization and the synchronization key in Manager password on the computer where you created at the origin of this synchronization account (email).
