Is there a way to transfer files from a computer that has no power on a work computer?

I have a new computer because my old one no longer lights due to a charging problem. The battery only lasts a few seconds, and the old computer does not work on AC. The computer's power cable is fine, it is internal to the old computer. My question is, is it possible to transfer files from my old computer, which has no power to the new? The old computer is running Windows XP, and the other running Windows 7. I look forward to an answer and I appreciate the time.

You can buy an adapter cable that will connect the hard drive of your old computer to your new computer as a USB device.  For example:

You can disable the blocking of modules in Firefox and remove the file blocklist.xml in the profile folder.

    Disable these prefs.
Extensions.blocklist.Enabled = change this pref to false
Extensions.blocklist.URL = delete the url if Firefox can't find the server where this file is sent from

If you have deleted from the computer, there is a good chance that the hard drive
has been destroyed, and the files are gone.

Should I change to W8, rather than transfer again to W7?

    Your choice entirely.

You look in Windows Explorer > Documents, photo, music, etc.

If you don't know where you saved the files, you have a big problem.

You are the only person who knows where you saved your files.

  • Is there a way to transfer information from url tokens in the form fields?

I created a landing page which is linked to a campaign by e-mail. I am new to design websites, coding, etc., so it is perhaps a silly question! I was wondering if there is some way I can automatically fill the email field in my form of landing page by including the e-mail address as part of the URL - that is to say. as an url? It seems crazy to ask the customer to complete their e-mail again when we obviously already! Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Without a respective function on the server or a local JavaScript, the answer is no.

  • How to transfer files from one computer to another site?

I have a few sites archived on my MacBook Pro, I want to move on my iMac. Y at - it an easy way to do that keeps all site settings and that sites will display in the window of the site files as I am used to working with? (CS4)

Yes, super easy too if you still DW on the machine you are transferring from.

    1. open DW on this computer, go to the Site > Manage Sites > export to create a for the site .ste file.

    2. a copy of the record of the entire site to the site and put it on your new machine and a copy of the .ste file.

3 al ' DW on the new computer, go to the Site > Manage Sites > Import to import the .ste file

3A. you "may" have to recreate a link to the folder root site under Site > Manage Sites > change to point to the site folder newly copied on the new machine, but all the FTP information will be there to import

  • Transfer files from UNIX server to the Windows server access path

Hello Experts, (Gud Gud same backward and Gud Mor)

Is there a way to transfer files from UNIX (Oracle database) server, to Windows server? AFAIK if path of Windows. I am able to read the file because it is on the server, but it does not recognize the Windows directory at all.

If you can share documents around this study, I will be grateful.

    Kind regards

You can download this PL/SQL package to FTP in PL/SQL. It is old, but still needs to do the job. Do not forget that in 11g, an ACL must be created to allow the code to access the network.

An alternative is to a Unix script ftp script and run (as an external process) using DBMS_SCHEDULER.

  • Cannot transfer files from iPad to MacBook

Personally, I understand better than anything else of directories.   I guess that when you connect the iPad to the MacBook using the USB connection - you cannot move pictures as you would with any other device connected as a drive.

    Okay, so what now?

I was with my iPad to take shots (my first mistake).  Due to the number of falls that I ran out of memory and it stopped everything - now I do not know how to remove the iPad videos and placed them on my MacBook.

At first, when I plugged the iPad for the Macbook using the USB I had an application that seemed to allow you to "import" - I did.  Or do I think that I did.   Where it matters to I don't have any idea.  Directories of meaning for me - but whatever the application is - I had zero indicating where the photos/empty went.  I've been good with that - thinking I could use the find command to locate my videos at a later date.

But now this mysterious request automatically don't invoke not himself.   = / I cycled the power on my iPad - with no luck.

I've heard that iTunes could be a portal for the transfer of files form an iPad with other devices.   I opened iTunes on my MacBook with the iPad connected - but nothing obvious jumped out to me (as a directory) that allows me to easily move these videos.

I guess I should buy some type of camcorder.

In any case - if there is a simple way to transfer files from an iPad to a Macbook (for example a directory) then let me know.  I'd appreciate it really.

    Thank you

Please understand that I want to say this quite constructive feedback.  I suggest a change in your way of thinking.

I suggest that you leave the point of view of directory at the door when you work with an iPad and a Mac.  Apple devices tend to use directories to answer the question 'how', something is done.  But the "how" may change from time to time.

However, if you focus on 'what' to do (for example, move pictures to the iPad for the Mac), you'll realize the functions (applications) on both ends that manipulate your data.

On the end of the iPad, this app is Photos.  And on the side of Mac, that request is probably too Photos - assuming that your Mac operating system is up-to-date.

So, check in the Photos of the Mac app and see if your photos are here.  Absolutely, do not worry about the Photos app directories used to store these photos.  If you need to send them elsewhere, export Photos of Macs.
