  • open windows messaging files saved using Outlook 2007

I have several emails saved in the folders on my PC under the Windows Mail (Vista) and Outlook Express (Windows XP).
I have upgraded to Office 2000 / Office 2007 Outlook fact as my mail default EXE installed. now I'm reviewing these saved emails
with file extension *. EML for printing - and cannot be opened using Outlook 2007 - office 2000 uninstalled after the upgrade and after
import contacts and previous windows messaging emails.

I tried to do a right click on the email address - selected open with... - then select OUTLOOK. EXE - no luck.
    no work around? TIA

You get this error message because Windows Mail is disabled.  Here's how to fix it:

Tutorial Vista - Windows Mail - enable or disable

As for the conversion of formats of messge, Yes, there are programs that will do it, depending on how much money you want... the separation with the fact that none of them are free. You can find a lot of them with a quick search on Google.  Once you download Windows Mail re-activated, however, the rest of the transfer should be farily simple.

Recently upgraded to El Capitan, I had that problem for Mail stop unexpectedly when I saw some posts.  I followed the steps and was able to remove the trouble messages.   Now I can't restore the mail window message viewer component.  When I try to catch the separator bar to go back to the left, only half of the small arrow icon and line appears, and it cannot be moved.   Can open the message by double clicking a message viewer.

    Hi there, alicefrompa!

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. From your post, I understand that you do not see the Message Viewer box which allows you to read your e-mails; only see you the Inbox that includes a brief overview of the message and are unable to restore access using the separator bars. I have had this happen to my own Mail app and am happy to let you know how I could fix!

You are really on the right track - you want to roll your mouse over the divider between the Inbox and sections Message Viewer (which should now be on the extreme right edge of your mail window) and drag it to the left.  When you click on the receipt/Message Viewer box, the cursor turns into a line continuous black with a single arrow pointing to the left. When you see the cursor change, click with the left button of the mouse and (while holding down the mouse button in) drag the combination line / arrow to the left. You may need to drag a little further than before to get it. I had to hang mine almost completely in the middle of my Mail app before the display of the message box appeared.

From there, you should be able to adjust the boxes to your widths you want as expected.

If you are still not able to get the display of the messages visible after have try this, here are a few more things that you can do.

    1. Press command + O on your keyboard.
    2. Exit the Mail application, and then press on and hold the SHIFT key on your keyboard while reopening.
    3. Restart your Mac by selecting the menu  Apple in the upper right of your screen restart from the menu drop down.

Hi, I do not know where to turn: the person who takes care of all the stuff of count is out of town, this friend started Firefox and there was a message about an update, I thoght I again just click on install and wait to re start Firefox. But what I remember is this another open window and asked me to choose 'something' (an icon or banner or?), I thought I have to click on an element (I guess I should read all clearly). Firefox updated to 3.6.4, but it also inserted some sort of what might be called a banner? But it does cover only partially the half right of my 3 toolbars at the top of the Firefox window. It cannot be used to something else because it's just a mess of colors and unknowns, except for what looks like a 'top' and what I recognize as an icon of Firefox (but only partially visible)! Now, what he does, it's partly hide this part all the toolbars and they are difficult to read and to do to turn this 'thing' impossible to understand, if I keep to? I can't find in any case to remove it or use it? But since the icon of Firefox is about it, I think you need to know what it is and how trash. I'm sorry for this accident caused my my inattention, but I'm not much of a computer person - HELP! Thanks for any help. Judi

  • There was a message to keep the machine to install Microsoft Updates when I tried to shut it down

    Original title: many updates

For almost all stop downs recently, there was a message to keep the machine as a download is being installed. Ms?

    Hello

    1. what operating system is installed on your machine?
    2. were you able to install the updates successfully?

Microsoft updates are essential for the proper functioning of your system and keep your computer up to date. If a message appears during stops or startups, it's quite normal that it installs the updates recommended by Microsoft.

Look for updates in the update history.

    a. open Windows Update by clicking on the button start. In the search box, type Update, and then in the list of results, click Windows Update.

    (b) in the left pane, click view update history.

    c. to display more information about an update, double-click it.

  • Windows message in sart up

During the boot process, I get the following message is displayed:

DLLC:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM21ZHELPER32. DLL is not a valid Windows message. Please check against your installation disc.

I am also told that my computer is infected by Worm.Win32.NetSky. I've tired using a Netfix Win32skynet removal tool and tells me, there is nothing on my PC. I also ran a full system scan McAfee, but still have the same problem. I keep get WARNING screens popping up telling me to virus scanner complete etc. Any idea?

At this point windows is reinstalled a viable option?  That would most likely solve your problem, but it is not a good solution if you don't have the cd to repair and have no way to back up your files.  And as for the worm.  I will try to check on the web for this response.  Looking specifically for "Worm.Win32.NetSky" it should come with some good options.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...
