Is there an anti-ad hidden in Firefox?

I have ABP installed as an extension. I'm trying to use: vcp - Forum.de. To open properly, it takes adblockers to be turned off. My ABP is disabled on this site, but I'd also disappear completely before and VCP would not go again. However, I can view the site in IE Tab 2 even without disabling ABP. Where is the hidden anti-ad which stops at VCP to open in Firefox?

He solved. The extension blocking the banner ad has been GOOGLE ANALYTICS. When disabled the page will open as usual.

There are no versions of Firefox for iPad because Apple won't allow competing web engines on their iOS devices. Until they change this policy it will never be Firefox on iOS.

Is there an anti-ad approved by apple?

Apple lists some on their own site:

    https://Safari-extensions.Apple.com

This does not mean that Apple endorses or approves. For cela means that they trust that the objects list enough to show them within their own site.

Personally, I prefer AdBlock and have used it for years. By clicking on the links on the Apple page eventually will lead you to the site of the developer here. Once installed, go to its preferences where you can disable the ability to allow some "non-intrusive" ads

The current version of Firefox 42.0 (Win32/Win64) is not older. Firefox 45.0a1 nightly compilations you are testing is in development and not even close release. Release of < beta < Aurora (developers edition) < every night

If you wanted to Win64 Firefox there is a release of 42.0 Win64 Firefox it is, however, not so public on mozilla.org
    https://archive.Mozilla.org/pub/Firefox/releases/42.0/Win64/

The Win64 Firefox 42.0 has 64-bit Flash Player white listed. The next exit Win64 Firefox 43.0 looks like 64-bit plugin Silverlight will be white listed.

  • There is no button menu on Firefox soon my device android mobile. How do you get options to set a homepage without access to the menu?

I'm trying to set up a homepage on my Android mobile device. All changes must have access via the menu. It works fine on my desktop computer, but there is no menu button on the mobile version.

    Hi rcbeeman39:

    1. Some Android devices have a menu built directly into the device button. In these cases, Firefox for Android cache added to the menu. You can always access the Firefox menu by pressing the menu button on the unit OR
    2. Hardware menu button is usually located at the bottom of the unit, next to the home, search and navigation buttons.
    3. Lots of information, including screenshots https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-menu-icon-missing-android-how-access-menu
    4. If the above does not help, please, let us know your model number Android phone or Tablet (S4? HTC One? (etc), operating system Android version (jellybean 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, kitkat lollipop 5.0, e tc) and exactly what you were doing, what happened and what you expected
    5. Finally, there is no way supported "setting a homepage" on Firefox for Android. The 3rd party unsupported host changer module can work for you: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/android/addon/home-changer/?src=search also, you can see the start screen customization can be good enough: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/use-awesome-screen-search-web-bookmarks-and-more

Fingers crossed the foregoing allows just a little!

  • is there a way to display a firefox window as it would in full screen without the window being actually in fulscreen?

I recently got Netflix and try to find a way to have a small window always on top in the corner of my screen. I have the add-on always on albums, but can't seem to find something to get rid of all toolbars and tabs on the single window

There is a script command to open a context menu where you can specify don't include toolbars and the usual menu. However, Firefox always displays the address bar (you could turn off the power, but it would affect all the sites), and the window has a frame around it. To see what it would look like, try this:

    Open using Notepad

    • SHIFT + F4
    • button '3-bar' menu > developer > Notepad

Paste this line of code, and then click run on the toolbar of the notebook:

    window.open("http://www.netflix.com/", "_blank","width=800,height=600,resizable");

If additional bars are too bothersome, maybe you can find an add-on to be closer to the ideal of a window without frame.

  • Why is there a password for all your firefox settings?

I'm sick and tired of my firefox browser attacked do and changing my 'new tab' url, my url of the home page and what I put on my browser. I understand the password to connect to websites, but why are there no admin password to change settings. If you have an admin password, which are required to change a setting, then this browser would be much safer and a lot less problems. Please add an option or an addon to get an admin password, which replaces all the rest, and will ONLY allow changes to any parameter in its use.

  • Is there an add-on to block Firefox update notifications?

If Firefox has always been boring when it comes to updates, and he now has a daily window that opens, unless I put to date, which will interrupt me if I play a game or watch a movie. I NEED to break my addons and there is no advantage for me update, only downsides, so I wonder if there is an addon or plugin for Firefox 3 that allows to block update notifications.

In the version of Firefox that I use (14) there is an option in the preferences to check updates, and one of the options is to "never check for updates". I guess that there is an equivalent option in the version of Firefox you use (I don't have it on the spot, so I can't check myself); You can try this option if you wish.

  • -Add-ons hidden in Firefox 12.0 beta update

After looking through the forums, it appears to be identical to the question regarding an update to Firefox 7. However, all the tools to bring the Add-ons have been taken down as the problem has been fixed in 7.0.1.

Is there a way to solve this problem in Firefox 12? All my modules seem to work fine (NoScript, TMP, etc.) and I can even access the prefs for those who put a link in the Tools menu or I placed on the address bar via a button. But they do not appear in the topic: the Add-ons window that reports that "you have installed such Add-ons."

It is possible that there is a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.

Delete the files (extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the extensions registry.

New files will be created if necessary.

    See "extension corrupted files:

If you see disabled extensions, is not compatible, in "tools > Modules > Extensions ' and then click the Tools button, on the left side of the search bar (or click on the"Find updates"button in older versions of Firefox) to do a check of compatibility or to see if there is an available update compatibility.
