Is there anyway to take a picture on the camera to my computer remotely?

I can take pictures near my computer built in camera, but I was wondering how to take a picture of me away since I have to use the mouse to click to take. Is there any kind of timer or a way to do this?

Hello Jan Burns,

Webcams are have pretty basic features. After all, they are only there for you to use as a video link when you talk to a friend/family etc. You might find another pair of useful hands providing you can either keep those pair of hands spreading the Court or modify them later. Try positioning the laptop (I guess that's a laptop as you say 'built in camera' and ask someone else to press the buttons for you after you have positioned your required remote.

My PC is a desktop computer and my favorite way to take pictures using a keyboard and a wireless mouse. The exercise that I am placed no more than 6 to 8 feet of the camera, I can use the keyboard or the mouse to press the key functions needed to take the picture. Everything that I don't like on the photo I change later.
