Is there something similar to windows media player 12?

I love seeing pictures of my show with their photos etc. but I'm sick and tired of wmp 12 crashing. it freezes and if I have to force its end it always stuck in the Task Manager and will not close no matter how I complete the process. This forces the computer to be stuck on closing down and I am forced to use the pc power button is not that good. Yes, I have tried all the fix from microsft, yes I tried to turn it off and turn it back into programs, I have tried EVERYTHING! the only thing is to reset my factory pc which I don't because of the load of the pc games that I have and I'm not reinstalling them so the only thing left to do is to find an alternative.
Thank you

  • Flash Player similar to Windows Media Player

    Hello

I try to upgrade to Adobe Flash Player, but it wouldn't let me install it. He always says that I have to uninstall old versions first.

But I can't find older versions. All I can find is Adobe Windows Media Player. Is it the same? What do I need to uninstall

This in order to install Flash Player?

    Thank you

    Tanja

Hi, always use the Flash Player uninstaller before installing the latest version. Download and SAVE to your desktop.  http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/141/tn_14157.html

Then go to this troubleshooting guide and make sure that your settings are correct and follow the suggestions that apply.

Find manual installers and use one or both, depending on what you need. Download and SAVE to your desktop.

    http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/191/tn_19166.html

You must use the administrator account, close all browsers, disable all applications (see the system tray) that use Flash (such as Messenger services). Launch the uninstaller and when finished, restart your computer. Then run the installation program (s), and then restart.

Windows Media Player is Microsoft. You may also need to Adobe Media Player. Not the same thing. Flash Player is different from the one of the people. Only, you want to uninstall Flash Player and install the new version.

  • Windows Media Player network sharing using 33% CPU resources

Network Media Media Player sharing module chew cpu

I have a problem to use cpu similar to others on the use of the CPU window media player.  I used process Explorer tool and concluded that the wmpnetwk process was continulally with 33% of the resources of my CPU, even when the media player is started.  Media player itrself use about 20-22% cpu when it is open and put a media is underway, which is all the time. MY PC has a CPU triple heart so it is a pretty big piece of the CPU!   I tried all of the fixes suggested without result.  It is perhaps a more unique problem.  I've upgraded to Windows 7 64 vista premium 64 premium, but not to install a clean (delete all).  Found a number of problems related to the user's requests and reinstalled them.  As media player and media center are part of the operating system apparently I can't do that for them.  This JUST started happening.  Is it possible the update did something?  Also, I have a laptop with windows 7 preinstalled and won't have the same problem.  I look at this turning point multimedia and Media Player off and setting adobe media player as my default until someone can come to a better suggestion.

Quick update.  Player use and cpu just off center media and the media is back at a low level.  Remains to be seen.  Why wmpnetwk use so much cpu?

In fact, I found that my step can be a little higher and quite tedious.

You can actually do the following which allows to save time! Wmplayer.exe is responsible for managing the shared library, wmpnetwk.exe share this library on the network(Please correct me if I'm wrong here)

    1. Open Windows Media Player and remove all monitored folders and close Windows Media Player (for me Windows Media Player became unresponsive after he consumed more than 300 MB, so I closed it by force), open it again with an eye on the Windows Media Player (wmplayer.exe) process to ensure that the CPU is acceptable.
    2. Add a tracking of file in Windows Media Player.
    3. When the dialog box opens showing the progress of the files added to the library, keep an eye so it gets stuck for a long time (about 2-5 min +, normally, you will find that the memory usage begins to boost quickly) and take a note which folder/sub-folder it got stuck on. (It is a good indicator that a file in this folder may be corrupted), if the dialogue ends while watched folder has no problem.
    4. If there is a problem with step 3, close the dialog progress, remove this folder monitored, close Windows Media Player and move half the files in this folder that you noted to another folder not monitored . Repeat steps 2 through 4 until the watched folder performs its search.
    5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 until you have added all the files in Windows Media Player.

I don't know why there no code in windows media player to check if corrupted files, but it is definitely a leak memory in the application and I hope this will be corrected my Microsoft soon!

  • synchronization of songs on an i - pod on windows media player

I'm trying to sync songs on my i - pod using windows media player, but when I plugged my iPod into my laptop there not appear in windows media player on the connect a device.

    Hello

Unlike other MP3 players, iPods use the software Apple iTunes to transfer music to the computer. Using iTunes, you can store a music library on your computer.

If you are using Windows Vista, you must go to the Apple web site and download iTunes for your version of Vista.  Then you can sync your iPod with your computer.

Windows Media Player are not compatible with the iPod. To work around the problem, you can search for a third party plug-in syncing the iPod to your windows media player online.

For more information, see the following links:

Start CDBurnerXP, select a new data disc.
Go to 'File'-> "Vidéo DVD Layout" in the menu.

Now select the folder that contains the video

Now burn the disc as you normally would.
You choose, in order to finalize the disc.

    That should do it...
