Is this a scam e-mail?
I have a 5 @ phone, iOS 9.2.1. Just opened my email icon where I see my various email accounts listed. A flashing exclamation point and a symbol of e-mail took place, and not thinking clearly, I didn't take a screenshot or ignore them but the user has clicked on it. What followed was a field click on another button within 2 minutes to receive a $100 Walmart gift card. I didn't do that. I close the application. My question is have I opened my phone for malware or virus?
No, you didn't. As long as you press all the links, you will be well. There are no viruses for iOS devices unless your device has been jail broken.

received a call from foreign voice asking me to let him access my computer, said that it was for my call from Microsoft. Wanted to help me with my problem.
First I called Microsoft and don't think that they work this way. Also, this same thing happens to my friend here in Idaho a couple of weeks. Is this a scam going around and if it is why didn't Microsoft addressed the issue in a public way?
Fake phone calls to technical support
Calls unrequested telephone of this nature are almost always a common scam. Do not let them give any info, do not give access to your PC, not give them all the money and do not go to all the websites that they suggest. One moment.
Please see:

Microsoft issues never not solicited for phone calls of support or security.
These types of callers can use completely fictitious names or bogusly claim to be of real companies other than Microsoft as well.

When I get a notification of a new email and go and click on the "Mail" cone I get this message
The e-mail address or the password is incorrect. Please try again. Then I have to re-enter my details.
I never had this problem before, whenever I clicked on the "Mail" icon I was taken directly in my mailbox. It just started this week.
I use iMac - so I installed the latest version of Live and I still have this problem
When I enter my details I am taken to the "account overview" and not my mailbox.

Is this a scam to access information from my computer?
I received three calls from a company that says that my computer may crash at any time due to error reports they received. They want me to access my computer for them so they can solve the problem. Their number is 1-201-285-5200 and they say that they are associated with Windows. Is this a scam to access information from my computer?
It's a scam! Don't do anything they ask. Microsoft never call people unawares. A search on these forums and you will find MANY people asking.

Why can't I configure the POP/IMAP mails for my Muse site in Business Catalyst? I don't have the option "use this service for e-mail as hosting the Web site" under Advanced options.
Is this due to my hosting Plan? Appreciate the answers.
Your site is a CCM that is located on a WebBasics plan (this plan does not e-mail hosted on Business Catalyst).
If you want to create the email addresses on this site, you will need to configure your mail elsewhere server and configure the MX records on your site to point to the external mail server.
If you want to use the hosted Business catalyst e-mail services, you should use a WebBasics + or superior siteplan. To upgrade your free CCM site, access administration area of your site-> Site Management-> upgrade now-> choose the desired site plan and billing frequency-> Add personal and credit card details-> Submit.
Please see this article on setting up email on your site of BC accounts: http://docs.businesscatalyst.com/user-manual#! / settings/mail electronic-users of the site -
For the establishment of the records point to the external mail server, see http://docs.businesscatalyst.com/user-manual#! / settings/email-users/creation-boxes of reception-for-your-users of the site

I got the email to join CC plan full of 228HKD per month (for the user of CS). I clicked it and it is not necessary to license any code, I just tried the trial version only of the Ps.
Then I go to the Adobe homepage and click on the same plan, the license computer code required this time.
Is the email that I received a scam? He ordered me to enter credit card information, bodies confirming the user history or enter into the process of license code.
Thank you.
Unfortunately, no one on this end can see the e-mail or that it is trying to determine if it is legitimate or not.

Is this a scam or reality?
I received a phone call from someone named Tom. He said he was calling from the IT Department of microsoft on my computer. He just received an order from a headDept at microsoft on my computer. He asked if it was correct thet, I used the Microsoft Windows operating system on my computer. Stupidly, I answered Yes, but something has been fishy.he continued during 2-3 days and then it changed 2-3 weeks they were receiving some kind of red alert, a message of relief from my computer and I could in line with these, at this point I hung up. Perhaps, I should have waited for some address that he would give me, but I am deaf and use a captel captioned telephone which is connected to my compuyer by a router, they are very slow typing and I didn't like the sound of this call. Maybe I'm old, but I'm not stupid

Hi, I messed up big, need help. I got the same call today and after following the instructions they took control of my laptop. They said they could remove only the virus that never was there before if I paid £154 to 2 years protection. I told them that I didn't have that kind of money, and they said that I had to cus, they have begun to solve the problem. They dropped the price of £20 to sort the problem. I have to go to the Bank tomorrow to put £20 in him so that they can complete it.they appeal saying that the technician will complete and restart pc. After some time they did this. After a short while I turned it on and a box came up saying I had virus and my laptop turns off in 2 minutes, and he did.
Now, I don't know what to doHello
Report the incident to your card company credit and/or Bank (how much you have paid).
Change all your sensitive passwords at all sites - e-mail, Bank, credit cards and others. (Do not
on the computer compromise and it would be better to do it on the phone or in person.)Of course uninstall their software.
You can even restore your system to factory fresh to make sure their software violates not
your security. (Way to re - install Windows Clean - everything on the backup drive so remove everything
data before hand.)====================================================================

If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to
scrutiny and the withdrawal without ending up with a load of spyware programs running
