  If you have the DB on this same server where vCetner is not installed so no question at all

  BENEFITS:

  vCenter is protected by HA (at hardware level)

  much easier to do a maintenance (maintenance of software only)

  all the features of VMware are available (vMotion, sMotion, Snaphsots, Clone, FT, etc.)

  cheaper (except hardware, space, power in the server room)

  CONST:

  in case you lose all esx hosts you will lose too much VM vCenter

  If the virtual computer is down always know you where it is (as a machine virtual it isn't always a deal) :-)

  Suggested configuration

  Set the priority of restarting to high for vCenter VM

  exclude the VM of DRS vCenter (in case if vCenter came down you will know which server it worked before)

  Create a pool of resources high resources and put there vCenter VM

  About P2V I wouldn't do that. As said by JDLangdon - create new virtual machine, Move DB from the old to the new vCenter and installing vCenter on fresh OS.

  Two basic reasons.

  The tables are and have been, a standard data since the dawn of programming structure. Languages such as Cobol used (and is still supported) tables. It's a very useful no scalar data structure.   The main advantage of having contacts on SIM card is portability, you talked.

  The downside is that you have several duplicates of contacts by name if yu have more than 1 number of phone attached to their name. In addition, other details like address, email and IM links cannot be saved on the SIM simcard.so only save basic details, name and contact number 1 for each contact record.

  DNG is generally a much more effective file. TIFF is usually much larger. The DNG standard is in fact based on tiff, there is no loss of quality, and they are perfect for use in Adobe applications.

  TIFFs are external use, for example for sending a print lab or if you think that you will never cease to use Adobe applications.

  If you use the menu bar:

  Library > convert to DNG all your editing steps in the history are kept.

For some reason, one of the things that often turns in there is a preference to restore your previous session at once. However, because Firefox uses user.js to override your normal parameters, whenever it starts, which then turns into a permanent change.

  I'm a complete newbie to this, and being a wrinkled, according to my grandchildren I wouldn't bother! Ive never done anything like this before, it's to ask, I mean, even less to try to improve my laptop.

  Anyway, having just started University I find my laptop, like me, is a little too long in the tooth to work properly!

  So, not being able to go out and buy a new laptop decided whether my only existing can be adjusted (I think the term I use is upgraded).

  He currently works on Win XP and Ive been told to dive into and out of the College Web site, I MUST have a minimum of Win 7. This is why I need to know: -.

  (1) IF my laptop computer motherboard is capable of running Win 7?

  (2) if not, can I replace the card mother towards something that's going to Win 7 or younger AND for not a huge sum of money?

  (3) I am also aware that my laptop will have more memory, a minimum of 2 GB and now I have only 1, or to be more precise, it indicates "980 MHz, 0.99 GB of RAM. So, the motherboard, I have more memory accepts even if it runs on Win 7?

  To be honest, I am lost and don't know who I should looking for first, extra memory, or know if the existing motherboard will accept and run Win 7

  Yes, all that being said, is there anyone out there who is willing to help and advise an old wrinkled who desperately wants to get on with my college courses, BUT requires the use of a reliable laptop.   Yes I saw also that the Starter Edition is available with new machines, or for the people who built them BUT, I thought you should know something different and I kept a version - source didn't happen tho.
