• ISE comments print Notification Portal

  with the old comments of NAC server, I was able to 'draw' the impression of notification of comments with HTML elements. With ISE I can only write plain text. Does anyone know how to change things like the size of the font for printed documents?

  Unfortunately, it is not natively supported with ISE 1.2.  However, the notification of comments will be customizable using HTML in point 1.3 of the ISE.  This version will be released if all goes well during the last week of November.

  Anyone know if it is possible to use a receipt printer with reviews tickets via the portal of sponsor.

  I know you can use a normal printer, but the question is whether you can change the format or html string to adjust it to your printer.

  Interesting to do with a receipt printer. I never had such application. If it works let me know please.

  Your question, you can customize the print notification by playing with the html tag.

  Check out customize print Notifications.. You should be able to adapt to the notification to fit on your receipt.

• revalidate previously profiled endpoints of ISE

  I had a peek at MAC spoofing with ISE 2.1.0.474

  I use RADIUS/SNMP trap and queries and probes DHCP. A Cisco 7911 phone correctly is profiled as "Cisco-IP-Phone-7911. Endpoint in ISE shows all the correct details of cdp/lldp/dhcp

  When I connect my windows laptop (MAC spoofing phones), the laptop computer is authenticated as the phone. Endpoint is always profiled as "Cisco-IP-Phone-7911" - endpoint shows details of correct dhcp for the laptop but retains the cdp/lldp profile phone details previously. I checked the n and cache device sensor has no cdp/lldp details for the laptop connected and accounting device sensor sends only mobile dhcp from tlv to ISE.

  If I delete the end point of the ISE and connect my laptop (even once, spoofing phones MAC), ISE profiles properly the laptop as "Microsoft-workstation.

  When I disconnect the laptop and reconnect the phone, ISE re-profiles the end as a "Cisco-IP-Phone-7911" based on newly learned information from cdp/lldp point.

  ISE can learn new details of endpoint by the probes and reporter endpoint as shown above. I reason to say that ISE postpone endpoint based on the fact that some attributes (for example cdp/lldp) kept from appearing - when new attributes are learned?

  Hello Andy,

  What you are experiencing is correct and should the behavior with the current mechanisms of ISE. There is an enhancement request that was put in place some time, but he has not seen much traction:

  The only time wherever a device would move one profile to another group is when a profiling rule with certainty factor higher is reached. For example, if you create a custom CF rule of 100 and this rule is struck then a device profile will never move to another rule which has CF which is<= to="">

  As you can tell, profiling is not the test. This is why it is recommended to restrict access to the network for targeted devices. For example, IP phones should just join the subnets of the voice and the PBX, printers should only need to access the print servers on specific ports, etc.

  I have a problem to install ISE and ACS on VM server. Linux Redhat Enterprise is detected by the system when the iso file is selected.

  But some dependencies of the package are noticed as openssl kernel-devel or cisco...

  The installation will stop from print virtual daemon.

  Any help!

  OK, I recommend:

  1. check that all the VM gusts are configured to meet the required specifications (RAM, CPU, disk space, etc.)

  2 re - download the ISO file and try the installation again

  3. download and try OVA

• ACL - ISE

  Hi team!

  in ISE, can a static acl applied dynamically to a switch interface, i.e. If a port on a switch, which amounts to a printer is active, but no certificate is received on the ISE, then the ISE will push an ACL to the switch port to allow only traffic to the printer.  This could bypass the authentication MAC workaround eventually.

• Cannot install on VMware vSphere 1.1.1 ISE 5

  Dear friends,

  I try to install VM 1.1.1 on my vSphere environment ISE 5, but I get without success.  I met the required hardware configuration (2 CPUs, 4 GB of RAM, 100 GB drive and 1 NETWORK card), but I'm still stuck on the print screen attached (traceback and invalid ELF header of a file of anaconda.

  I googled a few times, but I found nothing.  What should I do to fix this?

  You can post a screenshot of the settings of your virtual machine? Can you try to install an older version 1.1? To see if that works and try the upgrade again?

  I'm new to Mac but am generally competent computer/network.

  My son is in a the student house where 2 guys have Macbooks and 2 have Windows Mobile 10. the printer is a Brother wireless printer/scanner/fax.

  Among Mac users and Windows users can send impressions and analysis perfectly, but only one of the Mac users cannot.

  I deleted the printer and downloaded the latest drivers and re-installed but still cannot print.
  I tried adding via IP address but still does not work. I also tried the Air and BrotherCUPS, but none worked.

  Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. It seems that you experience problems printing to a Wi - Fi printer. Looks like you already have a troubleshooting. I recommend reading this article, you have already done some steps here, but there is more information you have not mentioned by train.
  
  

  If the issue is not resolved, take these last steps to remove all the drivers printer currently installed that might be causing the problem:

  1. Choose  menu Apple > System Preferences, and then click Printers and scanners.
  2. Control-click anywhere in the list of devices, and then choose "Reset printing system" from the context menu that appears.
  3. From the Finder, choose go > go to folder. Type /Library/Printers/ , and then click surGo.
  4. The Printers folder opens. Choose Edition > select all to select all the items in the folder.
  5. Choose file > new folder with selection to all the selected items in a new folder named new folder with the elements.
     To save storage space, you can delete the folder new folder with items after you complete the remaining steps.
  6. Follow the steps described in previous section once more.

  If your printing problem is not resolved, contact the manufacturer of the printer to support.
