  Hello people, I am setting up a way large-scale distributed of ISE and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the maximum number of PSN is allowed in this configuration.   I was reading through an older training document with version 1.1 and suggested 5, that's why I wonder if the specs changed on 1.2 but I can't find them anywhere to practice.

  I have a large virtual machine running the MAIN admin character who is also secondary to my report & follow-up in my main data centre.

  In another State (bound to 10G) is another large VM acting as my character high school admin with primary oversight & reports.

  Across several States I want to have multiple Ssnp through geographic patterns of each State, but I don't know if I can put across enough with my current version of 1.2 and my persona config Ssnp listed above.    I need about 12 to 15 Ssnp.

  I was wondering if I need two VMs more out of my control as a node in DC1 and secondary surveillance in DC2 for more extensibility PSN.

  As Marvin suggested, I would look at using 1.3 at this point, unless you have any specific concerns of this version and I really want to stay with 1.2. That being said, here are my recommendations/comments:

  -Two v1.2 and v1.3 fits in fact up to 40 knots PSN

  -If none of the nodes of your PSN will be put in the same place and are layer 2 adjacent I recommend putting them in a group node and behind a load balancer. If you do not have a load balancer, I would always put them in a node group. At this time a node group can have up to 10 PSN

  -If you have 10-15 knots PSN then you should spend 2 nodes for specifically for the character of monitoring

  -The period of maximum round trip between all nodes must not exceed 200 ms

• Cisco ISE and WLC Access-List Design/scalability

  I have a scenario that wireless clients are authenticated by the ISE and different ACL is applied depending on the rules in the ISE. The problem I have seen is due to the limitation on the Cisco WLC that limit only 64 input access list. As the installer has only a few IVR/interfaces and several different access lists are applied to the same base on user groups interface; I was wondering if there may be an evolutionary design / approach according to which the access list entries can evolve next to create a vlan for each group of users and apply the access list on the interface of layer 3 instead? I illustrated the configuration below for reference:

  Group of users 1 - apply ACL 1 - on Vlan 1

  User 2 group - apply ACL 2 - on the Vlan 1

  3 user group - apply ACL 3 - on the Vlan 1

  The problem appears only for wireless users, he does not see on wired users as the ACLs can be applied successfully without restriction as to the switches.

  In fact, you have limitations on the side of the switch as well. Long ACL can deplete resources AAGR of the switch. Take a look at this link:

  1. reduce the ACL by making them less specific

  2 use L3 interfaces on a switch L3 or FW and the ACL is applied to them

• Cisco ISE and question Admin CLI

  I have a strange problem with my installation of ISE. First of all, I use AD users for authentication. It works very well on HTTPS. I can connect with my admin AD by HTTPS.

  The problem starts when I try to log in via the CLI (SSH). I got login prompt. When I type my credentials AD that he said "Login Incorrect" and I got the same result if I try it with the local administrator account.

  I tried to reset the password for the local administrator over HTTPS to check this kind of wrong password. But no effect.

  CLI authentication which is the base Linux OS is not / cannot be bound to AD to the admin authentication. Only, you integrate the application on top of Linux, which in this case is ISE, to AD. So, if you want to connect to the cli shell, you will need to use the username/password you configured during installation. If you do not remember those you need to perform a rest of password via the installation CD / ISO

  1. have you checked the disk installation for scratches or damage?
  2. don't you try to install the game in the other computer?
  3. What is the operating system that is currently installed on your computer?
   
  First of all I suggest to perform a disk cleanup and check whether the problem is resolved.
   
  The disk cleanup tool helps you free up space on your hard disk to improve your computer's performance. The tool identifies files that you can safely remove, and then allows you to choose if you want to remove some or all of the files identified.
  
  To use disk cleanup in Windows 7 follow these steps below.
   
  a. Click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, click System Tools and then click on disk cleanup. If several readers are available, you may be asked to specify which drive you want to clean.
  b. when disk cleanup has calculated how much space you can free of charge, in the dialog cleaning disc, scroll through the content of the files to delete list.

  I also suggest you to run chkdsk.
  Follow these steps:
   
  a. click on start
  b. Type "cmd" in the start search box
  c. right-click on cmd.exe list programs and then select the run as Administrator option. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue
  d. in the command prompt window, type the following command and press enter Chkdsk/r X:
   Note: in this command, x is a placeholder that represents the drive letter of the volume you want to check.
  a. press y when you are prompted to check the drive the next time the system restarts.
  b. close all applications and restart the computer.
   
  Note: upon reboot, Windows checks the drive for errors, and then Windows starts
  
  After the computer restarts, repeat steps 1 through 4 for the other volume and then check if the disk cleanup works.
   
  If the steps provided above does not resolve the problem then I suggest to install the game using the cleanboot and check for the issue.
  Put your system to the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items
  the origin of the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and re-
  install the program.

• I have problems with the installer of Windows and Windows Update, and the solutions that I found for the two each rely on the other broken system to fix the first.

I don't really know what is happening. Can someone help me with this?

• What would cause third-party software not to install if Windows Installer is running and up to date, and the PRC is launched?

  Still trying to install a printer from Eastman Kodak to a computer that was just recovered. I have new versions of Windows Insataller and the third-party software for the printer. However, even when I put the installer on "automatic" and "start" the service, it won't stay like this. I run regedit, msiexec.exe / unregister and msiexec.exe/regserver. Nothing happened. I checked the system had full access to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT. no problem. I ran chkdsk. Hard drive looks very good.

  I need a response that I'm getting a little irritated that something as simple as install a printer should take this amunt of work. Oh, BTW, running Windows XP Home Edition, 2004 computer version. I don't know if this helps or not. The only thing I'm NOT willing to do is another system of recovery. That's how I got here in the first place. So, if anyone out there has suggestions, ideas (no matter how strange), ar solves this problem, I would greatly appreciate a response.

  We would like to get some more information from you to help solve your problem. You better, please answer the following questions.

  ·         What is the disk you use to reinstall?

  ·         Is this a recovery or reinstalling the disc you are using?

  ·         When exactly do you get this error message?

  ·         What is the edition of Windows Vista, you try to install?

  ·         How old is the drive that you are using?

  ·         How are you starting the installation process?

  After researching the error 0x8007000D code is essentially due to file corruption and a problem with the drive itself.

  First check if you have scratches or dust on the disc and clean the surface and try again.

  To check if the disk is wrong, you will need to copy the contents of the DVD to the hard drive and try to install using that.

  To perform a flat installation of Windows Vista, follow these steps.

  Note The hard disk must have at least 3 GB of free space on the disk for the Windows Vista installation files. The hard disk must have at least 15 GB of additional disk space to install Windows Vista. For more information about system requirements for Windows Vista, see the Microsoft Web site at the following address:

  1. Insert the Windows Vista installation disc.
  2. Start Windows Explorer.

  Once I had upgraded to Home Premium, I started to get this message.  Thinking that I can fix by the Win 7 Pro update, I proceeded with the upgrade (success, no problem).  However, the problem persists.  I tried to perform a "clean boot" and then "Normal Startup - load all the drivers of devices and services" and I still get this error.

  Need advice on what to do to solve this problem... short recovery in the image of Vista Home Basic original recorded via Norton Ghost 15... :(

  Since posting this thread, I found a solution.  The solution was to reset Windows Installer (1 to off, and then back to the manual) using the console of the computer/manage.  I edited the setting Windows Installer via "Services and Applications view (tab 'Standard' of Services).  First round of "Disabled" to "Manual", restarted and all then it 'Manual' and rebooted one last time.

  In a note, my issue was with Norton Ghost 15.  I had installed on the original view of Vista Home Basic, but found I could not it starts successfully after the 2-step 7 upgrade Premium.  Remove failed.  I've finally finished the removal after completing a full installation of Ghost 15 new (seemed to have lost some registry key values/entries).

• Cisco ISE and Meraki RADIUS

  I am very new to Cisco ISE and Meraki.  I try to get the Radius configuration for wireless authentication.  When I do a test of the Meraki to ISE, it passes.

  When I try to connect from my laptop, I look at the logs of the Radius and it passes; However, it does not connect me to good policy.  I keep hitting the default policy.  I have my Meraki police above the default policy in the strategy defined in article.  I have attached what looks like my strategy game.

  Devices does not really matter. Here is what I see when I create a device group (where you add the access point to this group), and then create the condition:

  And here is where I create the condition of strategy game and you should be able to select the Meraki access points:

  This will give you the condition similar to what I posted above. This is perhaps why you aren't hit that is not matching the condition for this game.
