    I have a website where under a single domain (and in one folder on a web server)-two Flash movies are stored:

    FILM1. SWF and MOVIE2. SWF

    Is it possible to access local SharedObject by Film1 by MOVIE2?

    What I do:

    Film1:

    var so: ShareObject = SharedObject.getLocal ("myso");

    so. Data.custName = "John";

    so. Flush();

    trace (SO. Data.custName);

    -John

    MOVIE2:

    var so: ShareObject = SharedObject.getLocal ("myso");

    trace (SO. Data.custName);

    -not defined

    As you can see - it of like local SharedObject was not shared actully but was "detained" by a film where it was created.

    Any ideas how to fix?

    Well Yes. By default, SO is "owned" by the file that created it. If you see the getLocal() documentation you will see that you can give him a path argument which will extend the sovereign wealth funds (on your own domain) accesses the SO.

    I have a strange problem with a reversal does not not on a set of six menu items. They seem to all use the exact same coding but one, 'Place', does not work in Firefor or Safari. It does not work in Internet Explorer on the PC, however. The code was generated in ImageReady. I rebuilt it here and in Dreamweaver and Fireworks with the same results each time. I am totally stumped and wasted a lot of hours on it. Someone at - he a clue as to why it does not work?
    PS - it is not the name of the image file that is causing the problem. I've already checked.

    The location of the word is a problem. It refers to a built in JavaScript
    object. If I change the occurrences of the word "location" of 'testing' in
    each of the four calls of the JavaScript event handler and also change the name
    image of the test location, the error disappears and the
    rotation works as expected.

    Try to run this program in your usual account, then copy and paste the result in a response. The program was created by Etresoft, a regular contributor.  Use please copy and paste the screenshots can be difficult to read.     I'm surprised to hear that for an iPad 2 that the issue had apparently been set for 2 s. Please see this for more details as I know them. Maybe the servers at your site have not been updated yet for the new version of the iPad 2.  ???
