  We have an application tabs where the default home page is page 10. However, due to performance issues, we have created another home page (11) with a slightly different set of the statement. We have active SSO. The corresponding tab and the page will be disabled based on the role that the user has. So, if the user has a Manager role, it will only see page 11, another page 11 is hidden and other users will see page 10.

  My question is, under change the properties of the application set us the url of the home page. Now is it possible to change dynamically, which? Otherwise, if I have 11 specified, but who is disabled based on the role. It will get an error

  To do this is to set the URL of the home page as the page most users will see (page 10) and define a branch before the header to page 11, that depends on the current user with the role manager.

  I have a question on the application's permissions. I work to make an app for OS 6.0

  When I create my application and place it on the device and then go to settings > device > application > MyApp, I see a "modify permissions" button where the user can change ' connections / interaction / user data "."

  My question is how to make it unavailable for the user? Depending on what they are doing here it can make my application crash/freak out. When I go into applications like facebook, AIM, brick breaker, google talk all I see "delete" is not "change permissions".

  In addition, you can use the ApplicationPermissionsApi to check what you have at the beginning of your application and act accordingly - that could be displayed a message to the user to say your application permissions may not work with the permissions as stated.

  I have problems to download applications like google chrome etc.  on my RT of surface.  Apparently this is a problem with windows rt.

  I am so limited with apps and I can access sites that I am really frustrated!

  Is there a way I can load another form of Microsoft on my surface?

  This is my first ever product of Microsoft and at this rate, it could be my last.  I think I'll stick with Samsung.  :(

  The Surface RT running the operating system Windows RT or RT8.1. This operating system is limited to installation of applications from the Windows store only. It's design and not a flaw with your system.

  It is not possible to install another version of Windows on a Surface RT.

• Failing application updates/can ' t issue install Applications may 15

  My Sprint Pre (WebOS 1.4.1.1) provided me with a lot of problems to taint a Saturday morning. Here is what happened; any help would be appreciated.

  -Update tool told me I had seven apps that had updates.

  -I tried to update the applications, and all of the updates failed.  I tried to redo some of them individually and then each failed.

  -I tried to stop and restart the phone, using the option "restart".  Once it rebooted I found that the same apps were still too problematic and that did not attempt to individually update.  Then, in the middle of all that, the phone told me I was no longer connected to my Palm profile and would need to restart.  I did what he told me.

  -The phone brewed for a long time and then introduced me to a blank screen 'Sky' with no options.  After awhile, I rebooted again.

  -The phone has taken me through the routine of activation, made me sign in my Palm profile, and then restored all the data and resynced to my external accounts.  After a long time, it seemed to be done.

  -Looking at the phone, I find now that * all * of my third party apps are listed as 'installation failed' and refuse to update or install when I try to do it individually.

  At this point I don't know what to do.  The data of the phone seems intact, but otherwise, the environment, I've spent the last year of implementation has been sprayed completely.

  I read in another ad to do a "partial deletion".  I guess that means selecting the option "erase data and applications.  I need to understand what that really is, it will do for the phone and the data on it.

  If anyone on the forum can help me with this I would appreciate it a lot.

  Edit: update title, want to keep all posts on this topic in this thread (and will be moving newly created here forward).  I'll also post in this thread when the problem has been resolved.

  The App Catalog now works correctly.

  If you have any application that failed to install during this period, for each of them:

  1. open the App Catalog, then press the basket icon.
  2. in the list, tap the application that failed to install (indicated by the yellow triangle)
  3. Since the app Info screen, click on the banner of 'installation failed' down
  4 - Press the "Try Again" button on the line of dialogue "could not install.

• SSH reconciliation issue after application BP4 for OIM11g

  I am facing a problem trying to reconcile users between OIM11g and a resource target SSH. In particulare, all worked well before asking the BP4 OIM11g. I have a custom rule of reconciliation that serves as a Mapper betweek custom field of a user called SSH, in which I enter specific target account to reconcile, and the Users.UserLogin of the SSH form field. The rule is expressly defined, via the console design, like "SSH is equal to Users.UserLogin. Now when I run the reconciliation of target user SSH for the specific host, OIM11g creates all the events of reconciliation but does not bind the target accounts IDM users (not related to any user).
  
  Does anyone know how can I fix this problem? Read the newspaper it seems to be without a single error.

  I seem to remember that there is a function (MODE? MODAL? CASE?) which can be integrated into one application to achieve this in a way that worked well and does not need an infinite amount of UNIONS and without compensation from the MDGS, but I can't seem to dig up. Any ideas?

• LabVIEW application crashes when you exit a VI with one or several clients on remote control

  Hi all

  This is the question that I met with LabVIEW 8.2 and LabVIEW 8.6. I publish one of the screws dynamically launch my application as a Web page. Then I load the application and launch this dynamic VI and connect to this VI by using a web browser from a PC intranet. Then if I try to exit from VI when the client is still connected to it, the application crashes. Please see the attached picture.
  This behavior occurs randomly. Sometimes, everything works as expected when you exit the VI - the main screen of the application appears and in the client side, there is a "remote connection Panel is closed.
  What could be the reason for this?

  Oops... The method of 'Close links' to work correctly. I apologize for the error.

  Regarding the issue of application crash, I did this close relationship, then wait a few milliseconds and then quit the VI. Today, the application seems to work very well.

  In the meantime, I had another doubt. Is there a way to link to the application instead of a VI?

• Why Google does not conduct a search, but blocks indefinitely?

  Firefox does simply not much more. Whenever I run the application (homepage is Google) and try to do a Google search, the program blocks, and nothing will load. For some reason, Firefox do not like Google. I have not changed anything significant (OS, memory, etc.) on my computer recently - the problem just started a few weeks ago and worsened gradually since. I tried all the troubleshooting tips (Yes, I went to the bottom of the list one by one) without good result. My only option at this point seems to be to use Explorer or another browser. This used to be a good product, actually the best... too bad it's not more (work). I'm not inclined to spend hours trying to diagnose the problem without help - there are too many alternatives out there. So I guess that it's hasta la vista baby to Firefox - I uninstall enough shortly after I hit send here... but I'll check to see if there are answers to this post that seem feasible. Otherwise, good luck Firefox - hasta baby vista.

  There are a few possibilities that jump to me here:

  1. when I experienced this type of behaviour, where Firefox is very slow with sites like google that should be very fast, I often found software malware installed on the computer that has affected the performance of the browser. I would say running Malwarebytes to see if something goes upward.

  2. the most common response I hear to help someone with a slow Firefox is to create a new user profile. You can find instructions on the management of your Firefox profiles at https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing-profiles

• HP 300-1020: recovery questions

  HP Touchsmart 300-1020 all-in-one

  OS is Windows 7 64 bit

  I recently bought the Touchsmart 300-1020 and many issues.  I intend to do a factory reset to solve most if not all of the questions, but when I put in place the Recovery Manager, it does not give me the choice to reset to factory conditions without the help of recovery disks.

  Is it because the 300-1020 was not manufactured with a recovery partition recovery without disks using wildly or could the partition have been corrupted somehow?

  The next step was to make a record of recovery, but but the creation of HP recovery disks does not see the recovery partition.  To quote the message, "the recovery partition is not found" Image icon factory next to the HP (C indicates 12.7 GB free of 12.8 GB.)  There is no files contained in FACTORY_IMAGE (D in addition, at the opening of the creation of recovery disks, I read that it could be a set of recovery disks created.)

  If the first owner created these disks, which would be why there is no files in the original Image (D?)

  Next, I decided to do the best I could to fix the problems manually, but they proved to be many.  There seems to be issues with "Touchsmart Homepage" as well.   Photos see toward the top in the home page but music and videos in different files are not visible.  It seems that the best move is to buy the necessary dics and get things to normal as far as I can get them again.

  Which leads to the third question and I hope I was descriptive enough for someone to answer: a set of recovery disks will bring this computer to a State factory reviewing the questions I mentioned with particular reference to the absence of the recovery partition?

  All new HP computers come with a recovery partition.  It is possible that the original owner somehow altered the recovery partition or delete its content.

  The only way to bring the computer back to life would be to order the HP recovery discs.

  Why? Your code takes the path of the VI and tapes twice. The result will depend on exactly where the VI is inside the EXE. If your build specification is the 8.x flag set, the VI will be under the EXE. Otherwise, its exact location will depend on the hierarchy of your screw, because the screws are saved with their locations of origin related within the EXE.

  I guess what you should actually use the Application Directory VI, which returns the EXE file, no matter what either call him VI.

  I guess it's possible your 2013 project had flag set and 2015 8.x reset for some reason, but that doesn't seem likely.
