  Hi all

  As the title suggests, I installed the soft Color ID trial last week and he had run no problem, but yesterday it restarts and starts, it displays the desktop and it also displays the window from the Application of the permissions, as shown below, as soon as it starts.

  He will not allow or deny, my scroll button will not move the cursor, no response from all the keys outside the SHIFT key (which displays the icon of the CAPS in the upper right), and the same goes for the ALT key. I tried to remove the battery and memory card, and a soft reset (ALT CAP LED) simply restarts tender BB, on which the app permissions window comes up directly at startup.

  Morning, I just had the same thing happened to me after installing new updates. 23:00 23.

  I removed the battery to reboot and press and hold the ESC key until it finished reboot.

  This allows you to restart in safe mode and remove the colorid from your phone.

  Now, the only problem I encounter is that I can them to reboot on safe mode, it get hung up on the provider screen which always brings me to restart in safe mode.  Now I use my bb in safe mode

  looking for a solution for the provider to hang up.  I hope this helps.

  I've got access_shared + read_device_identifying_information permissions in my application

  I do a check at startup

  This essentially shows the user a screen explaining the permission denied the app stops and tells them how to turn it on

  At this point, the only option that has the app is closed

  It would be better that I could add another choice for the user who opens the Permission request, ideally with this MyApp, so they can allow the permission required is as they wish

  I kniow there are a LOT of undocumented invoke / map "things you can do" but cannot work on special demand for it

• Obsolete application permissions

  We have two permissions in our app (read_cellular_data and access_uicc_carrier_restricted) that Momentics identifies as "not valid for 10.3.1 API. Before removing, I understand include:

  • What exactly they defined as they were valid (for previous levels of API)?
  • Authorities who have replaced their?
  • If there is no replacement, can these permissions safely raye bar - descriptor.xml?

  Momentics has been updated to give warnings about permissions, it does not recognize.  There are access_led_control, but looks like it is not respected.

  read_cellular_data and access_uicc_carrier_restricted are not public authorities, so what is expected.  Those that are only used by certain applications preloaded carrier and require special permission from the carrier.

  In summary, to ignore these warnings, if you are using a valid authorization.

• Application does not appear under Application permissions in 10 BB

  I will implement a BlackBerry 10 Cascade application. Here, I have responded to permissions in the bar - descriptor.xml.

  Then I clean, build, and run the application using QNX Momentics IDE. Then go to the Control Panel -> Security -> permissions of the Application and select "all permissions" in the menu dropdown. But I do not see my app that there are listed. I use the device Dev Alpha for my tests. I used the same device of liberation to build the Configuration.

  What could be the mistake I made?

  No errors except these permissions require the approval of the user. You will never see those listed there. Try it as access_files (or whatever it is) and it should appear.

• What kind of fields / widgets are used in the Application Permissions screen?

  For the config page of my application, I would like to have several hidden options until needed and I wish I had that look similar to the screen of permissions for a module - IE the one with the titles of "Connections", "Interactions" and "User data", which can then be extended to supplying indented from the fields below.   The Surface RT running the operating system Windows RT or RT8.1. This operating system is limited to installation of applications from the Windows store only. It's design and not a flaw with your system.

  It is not possible to install another version of Windows on a Surface RT.

• Failing application updates/can ' t issue install Applications may 15

  My Sprint Pre (WebOS 1.4.1.1) provided me with a lot of problems to taint a Saturday morning. Here is what happened; any help would be appreciated.

  -Update tool told me I had seven apps that had updates.

  -I tried to update the applications, and all of the updates failed.  I tried to redo some of them individually and then each failed.

  -I tried to stop and restart the phone, using the option "restart".  Once it rebooted I found that the same apps were still too problematic and that did not attempt to individually update.  Then, in the middle of all that, the phone told me I was no longer connected to my Palm profile and would need to restart.  I did what he told me.

  -The phone brewed for a long time and then introduced me to a blank screen 'Sky' with no options.  After awhile, I rebooted again.

  -The phone has taken me through the routine of activation, made me sign in my Palm profile, and then restored all the data and resynced to my external accounts.  After a long time, it seemed to be done.

  -Looking at the phone, I find now that * all * of my third party apps are listed as 'installation failed' and refuse to update or install when I try to do it individually.

  At this point I don't know what to do.  The data of the phone seems intact, but otherwise, the environment, I've spent the last year of implementation has been sprayed completely.

  I read in another ad to do a "partial deletion".  I guess that means selecting the option "erase data and applications.  I need to understand what that really is, it will do for the phone and the data on it.

  If anyone on the forum can help me with this I would appreciate it a lot.

  Edit: update title, want to keep all posts on this topic in this thread (and will be moving newly created here forward).  I'll also post in this thread when the problem has been resolved.

  The App Catalog now works correctly.

  If you have any application that failed to install during this period, for each of them:

  1. open the App Catalog, then press the basket icon.
  2. in the list, tap the application that failed to install (indicated by the yellow triangle)
  3. Since the app Info screen, click on the banner of 'installation failed' down
  4 - Press the "Try Again" button on the line of dialogue "could not install.

• SSH reconciliation issue after application BP4 for OIM11g

  I am facing a problem trying to reconcile users between OIM11g and a resource target SSH. In particulare, all worked well before asking the BP4 OIM11g. I have a custom rule of reconciliation that serves as a Mapper betweek custom field of a user called SSH, in which I enter specific target account to reconcile, and the Users.UserLogin of the SSH form field. The rule is expressly defined, via the console design, like "SSH is equal to Users.UserLogin. Now when I run the reconciliation of target user SSH for the specific host, OIM11g creates all the events of reconciliation but does not bind the target accounts IDM users (not related to any user).
  
  Does anyone know how can I fix this problem? Read the newspaper it seems to be without a single error.

• Issue of application homepage

  Is there a way to put is contained in the tab on the home page and if so, how. If not, is there a way to remove the tab completely. The reason for the question is that I want to have a specific content, so very happy to put it on the default home page that is generated if I knew how, but a failure to get rid of it completely and set my start page the start page.

  You can make a custom template for the homePage.vm, or disable the generation of all (easier) home page:
  Make a model customized for the fileGenerator.vm and comment out / remove the following lines:

  #set ($parsedContent = "#JHS_PARSE_NO_DEBUG (' by Defaut/misc/file/homepage.vm ' ${JHS.service})")
  $JHS.createOrReplaceFile ("${JHS.htmlRootDir} ${JHS.application.commonPagesDir} Home.jspx", $parsedContent)

  If you want to remove the Home tab in the menu, you can create a model of custiom for xmlRootMenuModel.vm and comment out / remove the following line:
