• 2 issues with Blu - ray authoring on CS5

  so first of all, how to make a menu animated seamless? just to get my feet wet on this first draft, I just want a song plays in the background, it goes through each of the pages of the chapter menu. I have not tested on a real player again, because I'm still tweaking menus, but in the still emulator box magazine, on every page the song starts again. isn't this part of the specification of blu - ray? animated seamless menus? Basically what I did I just put the song as audio from the menu query in the first main menu. and supported (you know what that makes me) who who would set the menu motion seamless... not so much... so is anyway to remedy this situation?

  one last thing. I have not yet create the context menu (probably will get to those this weekend), but I'm just brainstorming this and I was wondering if it can be done by specifying blu - ray (or even more precise by specifying EnCS5). the function has 43 chapters, then I put it in place where the pop-up is about 11340 px wide by 75-100 px of height, and scroll the menu off screen? or is the pop-up menu must be contained in the size of the screen? I was just consider make a pop-up menu that have a link to each chapter and was 43 links in all, and once you say the link 6 or so and press the right arrow, it is simply feed more options on the screen. or if I do just like 7 menu of basic text transparent in PS 1620 x 100, with 6 links per menu and have an arrow clickable at the end of each pop-up at the pop-up link depending on whether you press on enter (examply formulated like this:)

  I would prefer that it to be just a long menu continuous, you can fly seamlessly through the (photo 'iPod cover flow' of the iPhone/iPod Touch app iPod), but if not in the specification, OR if its only compatible with BD - J, then is the second scenario (th one listed above) possible with yet?

  BTW: destination project is a BD - R DL because of how much I have pictures, I had to succumb to the DL, so menu size should not be a problem at all with regard to storage problems.

  You must have a menu of several page for seamless playback.

  Steps to follow:

  1. import your menu and open it in the Editor menu

  2. menu-> add new Page

  3. Add all the chapter buttons

  4 Cretae a previous button and the link on the page to home page

  (repeat step 2-4, if you want more chapter menus, you must add the following button and should be linked to the next page)

  4. now add your audio files in the menu

  -> You can download a reading without welding. Reminder Simulator does not support support overview of several pages, so you have to check this on any drive of BD only.

  Again, you can achieve this by using several page menu.

• Still freezes when the Blue Ray project tyrying

  I'm doing my first burn Blu Ray and am having some problems...

  I have my images and uses Dynamik Link to send to yet... when options still to come, here is what I have chosen.

• Advice of HD format for Blu - Ray projects

  I'm editing about 30 minutes of images of wildlife for a documentary that I want to back up the Blu - Ray format. The film was shot on a Canon XL - H1A camera and the video comes off the camera as an .mpeg file. My PC is slow and has 2 GB of memory and can not handle the entire project from 30 minutes. The PC grinds stop if I have a project too big. My project is made from many 5-20 second clips with lots of transitions, so I'm changing the project into six sections of 5 minutes, made and saved, and then create a new project and stitch the sections together to burn to Blu - Ray. I did before for SD projects where I saved as DV - AVI files sections, them sewn together, then burned on a DVD project.

  My problem is to replicate this process in HD, without loss of quality. If I save the sections such as DV - AVI, they will be converted to SD. I tried to save each section in MPEG HD 1080i format before making the final movie as a new project, but then for the record to Blu - Ray the final movie format there is a net loss of quality compared to the original film. I guess it must be because the movie is recoded to each of the two stages of the rendering. I have re-recorded each section to the 1080i MPEG H.264, created a new project and are sewn together to save on Blu - Ray. The project is rendered but will be night work. I don't know if it will be better.

  How can I complete this process in two steps without quality loss?

  Select the option to share your computer, and then select MPEG2 as your file format, using the output of 30 fps 1440x1080i preset. This should be virtually identical to the video you put in. (you can increase your quality of output a bit by clicking on the advanced to this preset button and raise the level of video quality 4 to 5 You can even do it yourself custom preset for future use.)

  And, of course, all this is assuming that you are using the correct HDV project preset. And, if you use the PAL TV standard, use the option of 25 frames per second.

  If you are using the appropriate project preset, there will be a line above your clips on the timeline neither red nor green until you add an effect to them.

  Although I'm a little concerned that your computer is not powerful enough to work with half-hour or HDV footage. You have a great camcorder from $6,000. Are you sure you want to be editing his video on a marginal machine using a program of $65? At the very least, it would be wise to move to Premiere Pro. (Not that there there my company.)

  Still has a known problem with gaps of loop point. I do not think that this puts the bluray in to pause, however.

• CS6 Blu-Ray/images and manual stuff

  For some reason, when running through a slideshow manually advanced in my Blu - Ray project, the Action of end does not work.  Indeed, when I get to the last slide in the manual slide show, the 'next' button stops working!  I can click on "Back" and then the button "Next" active again, but once I moved (via the next button) to the last slide in the show again, the only way that I can return to my menu is by using the Menu at the top of the remote control button.

  Is this a known issue?  Is there a viable workaround solution?  The same project, built on a DVD, does not have this problem, so it must be the poor implementation of the Blu - Ray (or less navigation Blu - Ray) that Adobe has done in yet (so far)...

  When you use a manual slideshow, I add a copy of the last slide that has time built in. You can use 00.00.06. When you click on the button in advance it will go to this slide for a short time and then go to the link what ever you have defined.

• Generation of Blu - ray: no video (red, green, image etc.)

  Hey everybody,

  If this problem has already been addressed, could someone please point me in the right direction? I searched and have not found anything similar, but didn't know what to look for.

  My problem: every time I build a blu - ray project in again, I get the same result. the video will play (according to the progress on the Player bar), but the image is always a solid color, sometimes it's red, green, beige, black, apparently just at random, but always the same color throughout the video full.

  I tried so many different things at this point, I am at a loss to know how to proceed further. I tried this with at least three different projects, that have been created in the first. I tried both the dynamic link between first and still and export the video first and import in again later. I tried the transcodage.264 and MPEG2 (I'm not very well informed about the settings, so I use the default values). I tried to build the project in again as a blu - ray folder and ISO. I burned the disks and played just the digital files on my PC.

  The video still plays well until after it is exported from even (that is, it displays an overview very well in the exported video first of first plays well in players like VLC and fine video previews in yet). And I have no difficulty building still on DVD with the same video, editing and all that jazz.

  The only thing I haven't done is taken worth a try to reinstall again, that will be my next step if no one here has any suggestions. I'm running CS6 with all latest updates. I tested playback of blu - ray in PowerDVD and a PS3.

  As I mentioned above, I'm not very proficient in video. If I have omitted important details, let me know. Thanks in advance for any help!

  Well, just for fun, I've updated my (Quadro 4000) video card driver and surprisingly, that solved the problem on my PC. Burned a disc to try on my PS3 at home to see if it works also. I'm not familiar with how works yet, but maybe he uses the video card when you build a project?

• Windows 8 still CS4 Blu - ray BSOD

  I get a BSOD in Encore CS4 when I Isaiah to compile a blu - ray project. I have a HP laptop with a blu - ray LG USB burner. When I click build, even to simply build an image and then change "DVD" to "Blu - Ray", there is a deadlock and a BSOD. My crashdump indicates that pxhlpa64.sys is the culprit.

  I'm updating in CS4, which does not help. However, it seems, and I hope that my copy of CS4 Production Premium is still supported.

  My version of pxhlpa64.sys is 3.0.78.0. WU can't find updates I can say. I have not installed any drivers for my LG BE12LU38 Super Multi Blue, but it seems to be recognized, and there is no updates through WU.

• Problem with Blu Ray DVD in Encore without Menus or subtitles

  Hey guys.  I have successfully converted my video and audio for my blu ray project, and I have an English subtitle track, and three menu pages.

  When I saw the project in Encore, the menus and subtitles appear perfectly.

  However, when I export the project to a folder of Blu Ray or Blu Ray picture (I don't have a Blu Ray burner) and play the movie from there, only the audio and the video are there.  There is no options to change the subtitles, and no menu is displayed, even if I put the first piece to be the main menu and not the timeline.

  Can someone help me with this please?  Thank you.

  It is upto the Player how he handles the navigation for the Blu - ray controls. Try using TMT or player software PowerDVD from Cyberlink.

• Period of main menu in blu - ray...

  I tried to search, but for some reason that my forums adobe search function doesn't work. Well, what I do should be simple as Hello (it is on DVD anyway), but he won't quite work as should be for Blu - ray. My menu disc nav is just 1 multi-page. And he has a background of .tiff stagnate. Menu is superb. I though I'd add an intro short drive and the last frame of the video being the .tif of image that is my menu background and set an end of this video intro to the menu command. I burned a disc like the menu itself just to make sure everything works right... But between the intro and the menu, there is a 1.5 or gap 2 second display while the Player loads the menu. I don't think it would be the player, I have a pretty good player, but he imitates same such behavior in powerdvd as well as on the PC. On DVD, it works flawlessly. It would be fair to right transition on the menu, you don't even know that they were 2 different files. But on the comic book, there is this gap!

  so, how to fix it? I thought of making a menu sequels... But have no idea how to get that turned off, because if anyone clicks on the button in the main menu, if this video intro is anchored in the motion menu now, wouldn't that sort of lost transparency if the multi-page? All work around help? Links to articles maybe?

  EDITED to ADD: I guess what I'm trying to say is that I want to hav a 5 second delay in the menu, but is anyway to achieve, taking into account it's a multi-menu (point loop, doesn't it recharge the intro again? The loop point is 3 minutes, so it shouldn't matter... But everything looks sticky), and could be part of the intro? I've never done menu driven with AE before, I shall do so here? Or is there a simpler solution that I'm dominant? (like combing the intro and menu, its importation in the still image as a video file and set as a motion menu background transparent)? all my menus are quite to the point, so some advice regarding the tutorial or articles links help if I need to use AE for this task. Thank you!

  There is no way around this shortcoming with currently. When you use a loop point in a Blu - ray project, again automatically break to the top of this menu in two separate elements, a clip before the loop point and a clip after and place in two separate lists that does not allow to connect transparently, which is why you see such a big gap between the two. Programmers still was doing it properly, they would have placed the two segments in the same list of reading and perfectly connected their. If so good, they answer this in the future provided, because it is a major complaint among a large number of us who the author of Blu - ray disc in Encore.

  On a side note, some readers Blu - ray will not display the black, as readers of panasonic and simply freeze the last image in the intro to the main menu is loaded, making it less visible. However, if programmed correctly by using the transparent connection to the breast of a playlist, the two clips play without any freezing point at all. It would be 100% seamless as is the point of DVD loop. Programmers still just need to regroup.

• Yet CS4 will not go into the creation of Blu - ray mode

  CS4 running on an HP Z800 with an operating system of Windows 7. I am setting up my first Blu - ray project. The encoding of the chronology went well. When you go in, however, trouble begins. After you have filled the new project screen (title, Blu - ray, 1280 x 720, MPEG-2, 59,94 frames per second) the project window opens. Everything in the project window is still scheduled for a SD DVD. I have change the burner for the Blu - ray burner selection and then select Blu - ray. At this point, the small circular blue indicator starts to turn... and continues to do so. I let it go as long as five minutes and nothing changes. Then I go into the Task Manager and the entire computer seizes up, making me have to stop manually. What happens and why still will not go in the design view of Blu - ray?

  It could be the case that the pxhelp is not compatible with win 7 (64-bit)

• Creation of blu - ray and DVD standard of same video project - issue of menus

  Hello

  I have a video project, I intend to distribute on blu - ray and standard DVD. I plan create all menus and buttons for the blu - ray disc first. Can I just reduce the menus and buttons in again when I go to create the DVD standard? Or better, I'll recreate the standard DVD menus in Photoshop? Someone else to create the menus same br and standard DVDs? Any tips? I'm using CS5. Thank you.

  I would certainly agree with Jim's response above too.

  The problem with trying to use the same image is not massively different resolution (1920 x 1080 from 720 x 480), but also the size of the pixels.

  BD uses square pixels and what you design is what you get in the disc - DVD on the other hand uses non-square pixels and it can be a nightmare to design if you try at the scale of the images of high Resolutiom down to SD

  The SPHL button are also different - BD requires a separate layer for each State of the button to coloiurs up to 256 while DVD gives you the complete package on 2 bits of an image indexed with a total of 3 corridors.

  I would definitely say to create separate menus for each project.

  I did a project for a HD 1920 x 1080 video ().

  When I try to burn it to DVD, I get error of transcoding.

  I can properly burn on Blu-area without problem.

  If I scan the blu - ray in 856 x 480 resolution video and create a new project, I can't always burn to DVD, Blu - ray only.

  Can I burn video 1920 x 1080 on a DVD?  And if so, how?

  Here's the correct solution:

  1. Uninstall the elements of the Prime Minister
  2. Reinstall the first elements
  3. First elements will now burn HD video on a DVD

  Now this could have been taken with a cooperation much more and much less finger pointing and blame.

  Asking me to try burning a project older DVDs burned successfully would have more quickly lead to a good decision.

  Rather than long-shot of issues such as:

  Your burner has the latest firmware?

  You have gaps on your video track?

  What operating system do you have? What CPU do you have?

  Why 856 x 480 is not a standard size?

  And: the option allows you to save your DVD to a folder.

  The scientific approach lead to solutions much faster than grasping at straws and blame.

  I'm new to Final Cut Pro X and downloaded the free trial version and purchase and my goal is to create a project and then my output end will be discs Bluray I want to play on my player Blu - ray House.

  Do I need to establish the European PAL standard (as I have always done on a previous, or is video editing software - this important.

  It should not matter to your BD player.

  In General, it is usually best to edit in the format that the material was shot and recorded in. So if you shot 25 fps, keep it at this frame rate, set the properties of project on automatic and Final Cut will create the new project with parameters that match the first clip added to the timeline. When finished editing, choose share > Blu Ray.

• Windows 7 Ultimate X 64 Blu - ray reading issues

  Hello

  I have a problem reading Blu - ray discs.  When I place the disc in the drive, he sees that the drive is there, but when I try to access a folder on the disc, there's nothing there.  Strangely, I can disable the Blu - ray player and re - enable in Device Manager and the drive is instantly read by the reader.  The reader has no problem reading DVD or CD.
  At this point, I am sure that the issue is not with the Blu - ray player I installed 2 different disks of 2 different manufacturers and have had the same problem.  Each time, I could only get the player to read the content of the Blu - ray disc in deactivating and then reactivating the drive in Device Manager.
  I understand that with this workaround, the disc works effectively, but I don't think it is a good solution and would rather the disk read simply by placing the disc in the drive.
  I have searched for a solution on this issue for more than a month now and have only found solutions involving the upgrade of software reading or drivers.  I've already updated the firmware on the drive to the latest version and I know that the reading software is not in question.
  Any thoughts on what this could be and how to fix it?

  FOUND!  I did a Google search for the registry key and Blu - ray and concluded that the key who manages the readers of DVD and whatnot is called 4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318 and can be found by searching under HKLM\SYSTEM in regedit.  Under this heading, there is an entry called "LowerFilters".  I deleted it and restarted the computer.  Like that, I am now able to put a Blu - ray disc in the drive and browse its content to you only.  No longer toggle in the Device Manager!
