Issue of transfer of audio track

Hi all

Our shop is to first Pro CC FCP7 and I want just to pick your brain about the outputs of audio track.

We record in 4 mono audio channels, and our exports at the end of the day are dual mono. (Ch 1 / Ch 2). For a schedule, he translates generally into

A1-> Ch1

A2-> Ch2

A3-> Ch1

etc.

But depending on what Im cut I sometimes re - assign the outputs by clicking right on the slopes and combine different (e.g. A1 and A2-> Ch1, Ch2 all other tracks.)

Anyway, I've had flexibility.

I want to reproduce the same at first, but I'm a bit confused on the track output assignments.

I put my audio sequence as:
-Multichannel with 2 channels

audio tracks-4 (each track is Mono)

When I click on the assignments of output however, I see only a checkbox next to ' Master track channel: 1-2 ', almost as if my master output is stereo and not Dual Mono. I was expecting more along the lines of 2 boxes to tick, and assign each Audio track to one of the 2 titles of master.

Am I missing something? Really would appreciate the help. 2 bonus for those who feel especially useful questions:

-Any way to do a pre-selection of height track the default mode for new sequences to open? I love the track height preset function, but footage open titles in the same way, so I need to hit at the time preset of EACH key.

-A way to set the default zoom for new sequences range? By default, I see five minutes worth of chronology, but I need usually only 1-2 minutes. Everytime I open timeline, I need either zoom in on a more adequate range, or need to perform the function "Zoom sequence", which works but is a bit annoying.

Thank you for your time and help!

In the tab titles to a new sequence

The Type of track the Adaptive value - then you can direct the Mono specific to your dual mono output

Whenever I import a video, two audio tracks are displayed instead of one. I have to cut it, and when I push in the sequence, I have the choice to either remove the audio every time that I import it or I cut the track and keep it to the end and has 3 audio tracks or more all the time. • When I drop a second video clip with audio in a sequence, how is the 2nd clip will not display or launches its audio track?

I hope someone can help me with this.  I've just updated to the new CC first pro and when I drag a clip that has audio it displays correctly only audio in the audio track, BUT... when I drag a clip (or even the exact same clip) in the sequence of the audio track is not displayed and cannot be heard or published.  Just to double check, I did a new project, tried to load these two clips in reverse order and it worked the same way.  Only the first loaded track will show that it is the audio track.  When I create a new sequence by using the menus at the top specifically to test this, none of the audio tracks are displayed when the drug on the time line.

I also tried to load the video in the window source first before I drag it down. Sometimes the source plays audio, sometimes it does not. Anyway the audio still does not appear.

I hope that there is just a shoddy setting, I've turned on.  I know how to do Prime Minister rip the audio output and is it she's own track after the fact, but the whole issue is speed and convenience, and I never had this problem in the old version.  Thanks much for any help.

  • First Elements 13: Mounting a WMV distilled from a PowerPoint... Can't see the Audio track

I am someone help with what we thought would be a minor change task. We have a WMV file created from a PowerPoint presentation (and no, we don't have access to this old PowerPoint). We need to move some of the video autour, but leave the audio the same. When we added the media, we can see the video and hear the sound, but the audio is not on a track in the timeline panel.

For some time I used the first. The answer lies in the conversion of PowerPoint to .wmv? Is this why we cannot see a separate audio track? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I hope this will be new to the program rather than a question of serious program concern.

I am basing my optimism on your statement of "when we added the media, we can see the video and hear the sound, but the sound is not on a track in the timeline.

What version of Premiere Elements are do you use and which operating system is involved?

    For now, I'm going to presume first items 11, 12/12.1, 13/13.1 on Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64bits.

In what specific workspace to the project are you? You are in the area of Expert work or fast.

Fast working space is not a dedicated numbered audio track.

If you are in space and quick work of his film, then go to the workspace Expert with his script numbered video tracks, audio tracks numbered, track of Narration and soundtrack.

If this isn't the problem, then we can move on to other factors related to the issue.

    Thank you.

  • First Pro CC and the lack of audio tracks for .mts files

    Hello guys,.

I used to edit my files .mts with first Pro CC with no problems until yesterday.

Now I import my file .mts (made with a Sony VG900), but the first does not recognize the audio tracks (which I hear fine with VLC).

I tried changing the extension in .m2ts, but he did not, I also tried to reinstall the first but, even once, it didn't work and I tried (I was desperate) to install the CS6 first just to check if the problem is maybe about the CC version. Guess what? It did not work...

I tried also to convert the file with the encoder in .mp4, but after the conversion, I can't hear the sound with VLC and, of course, this does not work on the first.

Don't you think it's a first question or a problem of file?

I used these same files for other videos (as a http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1X5vsZ-5yI) and I had no problem. Then I updated the first, I moved the files in the other folder, and the problem came to life.

    Any idea?

(I'm waiting for my colleague to send me a new mts file just to check if I accidentally damaged the 'old').

  • cannot position another audio track

OK, so I don't know that there's a reason great 'simple' what's going on.  But Adobe, in their never-ending quest to be complicated, has created this situation.

    My problem is twofold.

When you try to create a new project in 720 p, I select 720 p HDV.  But when I import my. MOV, sound asset does not appear. (issue 1, why is there no sound with this project type?) (I prefer to use this setting because it allows me to have 1.00 pixels)

So I modified the project in DVCPRO 720 p, but when I import my. Asset MOV, audio inserts on track 3 and not WILL NOT MOVE to another track.  I can delete the tracks 'empty' to get up to track 1, but as soon as I import another. Active MOV, it inserts a new track and, even once, won't let me move it.  After that I imported my 8 videos, there are 8 audio tracks to go with it.  (question 2, why can't I not move my audio tracks in the track for track?)  Is there something simple I am missing?)

    Thank you

    TEX

Looks like the audio and audio tracks is not matching the audio format. Check if the. MOV files are audio mono or stereo. The audio setting in a predefined sequence are usually stereo. If your files are mono, then you can leave you as stereo. If your files are stereo, then check and make sure that the audio sequence is not mono and stereo. I hope this helps.

  • Split audio track in first CS5

    Hi all

I'm getting acclimated to work in CS5 first, after years of editing on Avid Media Composer and Symphony.  There are, of course, similarities and differences, that which some I can understand my way through and others where I'll need to ask for help.  Here is one.

Suppose I have a piece of video that got killed by split tracks.  On channel 1, we have the Lavaliere microphone worn by an object of the interview.  On channel 2, we have the microphone on the device so when searching, I can hear the interviewer's questions which are not audible in mic of the interviewed.  In the final cut, I would throw channel 2 and channel 1 centre-pan.  On an Avid audio channels are separated on the timeline - tracks, you can literally remove channel 1 or audio clip from channel 2 and then use a Pan tool to take the audio clip remaining and pan it as desired (Center-pan is typically what you want with an interviewee, but actually you have infinite choice between left and right full).

How do we address this question in the first?  I'm sure that this issue has been addressed before, but after much research, I guess that I don't know the correct search terms to find.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

    Peter

Personally, I don't like the filling to left/right effects - it's unnecessary treatment, and I think that their use is somewhat restrictive. They would be your best option if you have already completed edition, however.

If you have not started to edit, you can remap the channels left and right stereo audio to two mono channels split, so to replicate your experience in Avid (it's where I came from, too). Choose your clips in the tray and right-click > edit > Audio channels. Click on the option "Mono" button to send the stereo, left channel right at A2 A1 and the stereo. Now you can edit clips in two mono tracks in a sequence.

The difference is the way that first card tracks default sequence. Avid, odd numbered audio tracks have left, in pairs of audio tracks went right. First, all mono audio tracks by default for center channel if you use one track stereo master. In the Audio Mixer Panel, you can pan tracks left or right to go to the specific output channel, or mix according to the needs. This practice is somewhat different than Avid, but gives you great flexibility.

The thing most important to note is that the Audio channel mapping does not work if you have already used your clip in a sequence, so don't forget to do that immediately after the capture/import your clips.

Probably something stupid I'm do or do not do... but I saved a piece of Hammond organ on an audio track in Logic Pro X. For some reason but there is no display on the console when playing track. The track renders perfectly, but the meter section remains black.

  • iMovie and several audio tracks

    Hello

I'm trying to import video with multiple audio tracks (track 1 - background sound + voice; Track 2 - background only. Track 3 - voice only) in an iMovie but it just merge all tracks to unique soundtrack.

How to split audio tracks in my video?

    Thank you.

iMovie gives no control on separate audio tracks, you should use a professional for editing software do.  I think you can remove the audio tracks you don't want to hear using the handbrake (https://handbrake.fr/) before you import into iMovie (although I've never tried myself).

If there is a clip of multi, you can open it in the editor of the Angle and click on the speaker icon on the clip that has the sound you want to disable.
