Issue of video crop and zoom

I'm new to this product and could not find my specific problem (or at least not a not recognize).

I used video uploaded to make a simple music video (to experiment on the trial version).  I have the first clip in the sequence, and then I add a second clip and after working with her for a few review of minutes than in the sequence Viewer, video is enlarged and the sides are cropped if I see only an enlarged photo of the Center.  The zoom has always adjusted well.  I don't understand why the video is automatically enlarged and cropped by first and when I delete the clip and replace it does the same thing.

Any idea?

The first clip in the video was a 640 x 360, while the second video is 1280 x 720 and had every two square pixels (1.0)

However, they were the two WMVs.

The fact that the Zoom level is set to made means that the display in the program monitor is zoomed to place the Panel, is not that the video is resized to fit the sequence.

If your second clip is larger than the first, and that you place the second clip in a sequence that is sized for the first, then naturally you will only see a piece (for example, the Center cropped in your case), unless reduce you the second clip. Or use a larger sequence.

If you want the item to be measured automatically to fit the sequence, then you can enable the default scale to frame size preference. (See this for a video explanation of this preference.)

In general, you evolve with the property scale of the impact trajectory, not with the Zoom setting in the control panel.

  • Crop and Zoom for picture-in-picture

I would like to zoom in on the part of a video and cultures so when I re - size for picture-in-picture, I can see the only cropped area. Is this possible?

    Thank you

In the last part of this example, it seems that Clip on 1 video track was duplicated and placed on the video track 2. There, it was zoomed in, with the fixed effect > Motion > scale. The cropping effect has been added to isolate only the mouth and then the effect fixed > point > Position was used to 'move', which reduced and cropped Clip to the right. A waveform display has also been added, say on video track 3 and probably scaled, Cropped and positioned too.

It does not appear that any of these effects (fixed or added) were keyframes to animate over time.

Read in the help file, for these keywords:

    Effects:

    Culture

    Motion

    Scale

    Picture in picture

Good luck and thanks for this example. It explains what you want very clear.

  • Need help scaling, cropping and zooming

    Hey people.

I play a lot of Battlefield 3 on my PC, and from time to time I would like to record some of the game to share with others.  I have the ability to save the game (I'm still trying to figure out how to save also the sound!), but there is a challenge: I play the game extends throughout the 3-panel LCD 1920 x 1200.  Essentially, the final resolution of the game is 5760 x 1200, which gives me relatively beautiful panoramic views of what happens.

Problem: I need to crop, up to 1920 x 1200 and then intermediate screen crop/zoom it again up to 1920 x 1080 for upload to YouTube.  But I'm not sure how to do this.  If the recording software has been smart enough, he'd let me choose what part of the final screen to save, but this would require a lot of extra processing power so that in the game.  So he just blindly saves every pixel he sees on the disk.

While experimenting last night, I tried two things:

    • Import large AVI file, create a sequence of him and then add a harvest.  With said culture, I cut the left of 33.3% and the right of the same amount.  As I expected, I was left with a perfect image in the center of the massive image, but with a large box black on each side of it.  I didn't know what to do with it from there.
    • Create a new sequence of resolution 1920 x 1080 and drop the AVI intact inside.  It is closer to what I want, but I have a few questions zoom/crop.  Specifically, the black bars on either side of the image indicate that I am always turned off.

    Here is the second attempt:

There is a step or two more that I do here, and I'm not sure what it is.  Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

    JAS

    Hi Jas,

I'd go just for the 1920x1080p preset with a cadence that is appropriate for your clip. If 'Ladder to the chassis' is DISABLED in Prefs, then the video must be centered in the view of the program, with no necessary additional cropping. For example, if I put a video clip HD in an SD sequence, I don't see the whole image HD - I'll see just the center of the largest element, which represents only 720 x 480 pixels from the center of the larger picture of 1920 x 1080.

So if you place your clip of 5760 x 1200 into a sequence of 1920 x 1080, you should see just the central part, with a bit of top and bottom are cropped since it is larger than the frame. You can use Motion > scale who bring down a little if nothing is cut (with the exception of the sides, of course).

In addition to preferences setting, which affects the elements at the time of importation, you can with the right button of your clip on the timeline and select or deselect "Scale to the chassis" it according to the sequence by sequence also.

    Hope this works for you

    Thank you

  • Crop and zoom in to the PS?

In LR when cropping a photo, it expands the picture cropped to original size. Is there a way to do this in PS CC?

If you want just the image to fill the screen after cropping?  There is no option to do this directly from the tool of cropping, but Ctrl (Cmd) 0 is a simple shortcut to get there after using the crop tool.  Is this useful?

  • Full video cropped width and height appears in the output window

    Hi all

Maybe someone can help me with this, maybe I'm doing something wrong or I missed a setting, however, I'm not able to see my full video in the output window.

I can see it in the source window, but when I drag to the sequencer to output and run it, I see only a cropped version.

I've attached a screenshot of the issue. The left pane is my video source and the right pane is the output. As you can see the video came cropped.

    No idea what I missed?

Can you post a screenshot of your output settings, media properties and sequence settings?

  • Premiere Pro random Pan and Zoom with video

I know that Premiere Pro can't do. I know that still can generate slide shows with random pan and zoom.

What I need is a way to apply randomly pan and zoom for still images and then edit the video between the stills.

I know I can do it in yet, but I need other video FX/audio video/editing features for video editing.

So, I guess my question is anyone know if there is a 3rd party plugin that allows to generate a slideshow in Premiere Pro?

Right now I use a plug-in for Sony Vegas Pro from Vasst, but they are not the same for Premiere Pro.

I wish you first had scripting like Photoshop.

Thanks in advance for your help,

    -Darin

I stand to be corrected, but I think you could produce your slide show in again then after building the DVD grabs the VOB file and re-edit in first.

    Hope that works for you.

  • Please help me with the video card and power supply issues!

Hello and thanks in advance for any help. I'll try and do a short explanation, but I can't promise anything. I bought an a6620f Pavilion about 2 months ago I didn't know that you had to purchase a special hardware in order to play video games. In any case, I bought about 300.00 worth of new video games and none of them works. they say because of my video card. Then try to buy a new video card and it won't work because I only have a 250 watt power supply. I spoke with a hp technician before you buy a PSU and I was told that my motherboard was only designed to use a 300 watt max power I tried to buy one at best buy and the clerk said 4500 is the smallest they sell. and I need at least a 400 Watt or powerrsupply to make the new video card with a value of buyiong. My questuion is what can I do if I can't buy one more big power supply how can I install a new video casrd? Please help me I'm lost

    Hi chefinomaha,

Sorry to hear about your frustration. Here's some good news.

I think you have been misinformed or there was a communication error. Your motherboard should not be limited to the only 300W. I don't know with certainty how high you can go in watts, but you can go higher and should go higher, if you add a video card.

The important thing is to get the right kind of diet that fits your connectors.

    Here's your motherboard page.

Here is a document with step-by-step instructions and video for adding a video card.

Here is a document with the video to replace the power supply.

  • Pan and zoom to create the video effect

This question has been posted in response to the following article: http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/premiereelements/using/WSeffff8bffc802084-494411db12fd35452dd-8000.html

For pans and Zooms with PiP (Picture in Picture), do not use Pan & Zoom. It has other functions and also limits.

Use rather fixed effects > Motion > scale (Zoom) and the movement > Position (Pan) and the keyframe of their attributes.

    Good luck

  • Pan and Zoom on Photos in PreEle 11

I do a combo pic a video project.  I want to give photos the Ken Burns Pan and Zoom effect.  Some of my old photos that I have scanned are causing issues with Pan and Zoom.  When I try to add the effect using pan and zoom in the menu Tools, frameworks cannot me start and end with the complete picture.  I lose easily half of the photo.  I know that I am here at fault, there must be a simple answer.  Any help is appreciated.

  • How to pan and zoom of multiple photos in a grid

    Hello

happy new year to the community!

Recently, I did a lot of research in this forum and for most of the problems in my project, I was able to find appropriate solutions in PrE 11 that I treated myself buy at Christmas

But there is always something left: I want to align several rectangular cells in a grid, each containing an image set that is enlivened by some pan and zoom.

I can't get there through the Pan and zoom tool, since it is limited to the frame ratio and display mode full-screen. Then I tried to use key framing for the pan and zoom and cropping the photos. But the harvest has been scaling as well as photos and just fix. My last hope was to use an alpha mask that would have the advantage that I could create a fixed grid. But the mask was affected by both animation...

I suspect, after reading the post http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/996581 , that's not possible without creating intermediate video files for all the photos. So my question is if there's a way to accomplish the task or if it is confirmed that the intermediate videos are the only way.

    Kind regards

    phylome

The only way I know to do this in Premiere Elements is to create your pan & zoom for each image and then exit each using publish & share/computer/AVI with DV preseeding.

Once you have created all of them, put each on its own separate video track, stacked on top of each other, sizing and positioning of each to adapt to your grid.

  • Can I crop and fill the frame in the elements?

I'm trying to crop a video which I can do, but I want to get rid of black borders around it and zoom in how I can do this, then fill the frame?

You don't say what version of the program you use, but in the culture settings on control panel properties/Applied effects that you will see a Zoom box. Check this and your video will zoom to fill the frame as you crop.

Note, however, that you can only zoom so far before run out you of resolution and your video will begin searching fuzzy and pixelated.

  • Pan and Zoom of the problems of the development of tools

I'm sure I have a newbie question which has been discussed previously, I apologze.  I spent several minutes using the search engine of the forum without any direct results.  The closest I could find was a thread issues dealing with concentrate when Pan and Zoom is applied to a series of images.  I'm trying to get a clear/crisp result starting from a single photograph.

The source image is a very well targeted, black and white wedding photo.  The tool does a great job of face recognition and a very decent job of auto-composer a route of pan.  I see/understand the controls that would allow me to change these behaviors.  What I find not are:

    A. all control over the development at the enlarged stage;

    B. a way to export the result as a video or a slide show.

I admit that this is my first use of Adobe Premier elements.  I used other video editing tools and not want to enrage the posters who are exasperated by the "Burns effect ', it was precisely advertising of this feature with version 10 led me to buy this software."  So, I hope that I can be taught how cooerce Center each of face images.

    Thank you.

Have you returned to the view of the timeline and press Enter to make your pan and zoom?

The view you see in the workspace Pan & Zoom is a preview only.

  • What would be the best video editing and photo editing software to use for an iMac for advanced users?

My first exposure to video and photo editing is on a PC with Adobe Premier and Adobe Photoshop.  I own a Macbook Air and have used iMovie and iPhoto.  It took me a few years to sort and organize thousands of photos archived and videos.  Now, with the changes in Final Cut Pro and the loss of the opening, I am, even once, sitting on the fence.  Compatibility between the software has always been a controversial issue and that you accumulate more and more files, it would be nice if Apple should keep in mind to develop software that can be upgraded seamlessly without losing or change any data.  For example, the photo is correct, once you become familiar with it. However, personally, I like the way events were created in iPhoto, but also how you can scrub through each event, just sweep a finger of each event.  Now in the Photos, you need to scroll right rows and rows of pictures, which seems to be a step backward when it comes down to the speed and convenience. I finally have the time to go back to my hobby of video editing and I was about to buy an iMac or a Macbook Pro.  What is the best choice for video and photo editing, or should I be looking back to Adobe?

You can go to Phase One's Capture One.
