Crop and Zoom for picture-in-picture

I would like to zoom in on the part of a video and cultures so when I re - size for picture-in-picture, I can see the only cropped area. Is this possible?

Thank you

In the last part of this example, it seems that Clip on 1 video track was duplicated and placed on the video track 2. There, it was zoomed in, with the fixed effect > Motion > scale. The cropping effect has been added to isolate only the mouth and then the effect fixed > point > Position was used to 'move', which reduced and cropped Clip to the right. A waveform display has also been added, say on video track 3 and probably scaled, Cropped and positioned too.

It does not appear that any of these effects (fixed or added) were keyframes to animate over time.

Read in the help file, for these keywords:

Effects:

Culture

Motion

Scale

Position

Picture in picture

Good luck and thanks for this example. It explains what you want very clear.

I'm reading stories to my students and working on the words at the same time. I read on pan and zoom in C8 here is there a pan and zoom or a smart update option in Captivate 8?

But unfortunately, he is ahead of my curve. I know that I have to open a project in the demonstration video. But just there, I stopped, because I don't know what are the choices to make.

Does anyone know of a BEGINNER video for pan and zoom, rather than videos that assume you already know how to do this and just focus on the changes between versions of Captivate? I have some info of Beyind the essential Captivate of Kevin Siegal 7.

But it does not help me understand about that. Let's say I want to zoom to the word was. Then say stuff about it. Then go back to history. What are the right steps to take?

If there is a method step by step online, I would be delighted if you told me where it is. Thank you!

Hmmm, my answer in the other thread was provided with 8 Captivate HD video demo application.  It was a response, not a tutorial, I assume nothing, just talked about this alternative. The screenshot that you have is for a normal software simulation, using slides. I've never used panning during a software simulation of recording at all. My first question would be: do you need interactivity in this "movie"? If this isn't the case, you can try the demo video (is available in the Welcome screen, third icon in the first row). There is not many tutorials autour, it seems that very few people use it. I have published two films created with the demo video, you could have a peek at one to check if this is what you want to do:

    Action vs standard single

You will see some pan and zoom in this film. Advantage over the Pan in a simulation software in the course of the capture, is that in demo the pan and zoom can be applied later during editing in the dedicated video editor. And the quality is much better, since it is HD and non-destructive.

If you want to stay with the simulation of software (maybe because you need interactivity), I would never pan when entering, but in different regions, and for Zoom capture have sufficient quality, create separate images and apply effects to it. A combination of slides in demo with normal slides is another possibility.

Now you will tell me that I'm not offering you links tutorial, as I said there are very few around and most of them is very limited (take a look on Youtube, some are ridiculously simple). After all, Camtasia offers more HD video demo in Captivate you and may be easier to use (not Adobe, purchase separately).

  • Cannon T5 Digital Zoom for pictures?

I recently bought a Canon t5 and I wonder how to get the digital zoom to work when taking pictures. In auto (or any other mode also), when I press the zoom button, it zooms in on the object I want to it, but when I take the actual picture, it isn't zoomed at all. Am I missing something? What is the point of having a digital zoom, if you can't actually take pictures with her? Is there a key combination that I'm missing?  I have looked at the manual and looked around online, but I don't see anything specific to this question.

    Thank you

  • Where can I find information, date, time and camera for pictures transferred from an older version of the EP?

I saved all my library the old version of Apple fron and transferred the file to PES 11.  I don't know where it is in PES 11

I bought AppleCare with the new computer and called today for help.  With their help, I downloaded iPhoto Library upgrade and used to update the original iPhoto library.  Then I deleted the photos in the Organizer in PSE and imported the Library upgraded to PSE.   Now I have the file information of photo that was missing before.  Thanks for your help.

  • Need help scaling, cropping and zooming

    Hey people.

I play a lot of Battlefield 3 on my PC, and from time to time I would like to record some of the game to share with others.  I have the ability to save the game (I'm still trying to figure out how to save also the sound!), but there is a challenge: I play the game extends throughout the 3-panel LCD 1920 x 1200.  Essentially, the final resolution of the game is 5760 x 1200, which gives me relatively beautiful panoramic views of what happens.

Problem: I need to crop, up to 1920 x 1200 and then intermediate screen crop/zoom it again up to 1920 x 1080 for upload to YouTube.  But I'm not sure how to do this.  If the recording software has been smart enough, he'd let me choose what part of the final screen to save, but this would require a lot of extra processing power so that in the game.  So he just blindly saves every pixel he sees on the disk.

While experimenting last night, I tried two things:

    • Import large AVI file, create a sequence of him and then add a harvest.  With said culture, I cut the left of 33.3% and the right of the same amount.  As I expected, I was left with a perfect image in the center of the massive image, but with a large box black on each side of it.  I didn't know what to do with it from there.
    • Create a new sequence of resolution 1920 x 1080 and drop the AVI intact inside.  It is closer to what I want, but I have a few questions zoom/crop.  Specifically, the black bars on either side of the image indicate that I am always turned off.

    Here is the second attempt:

There is a step or two more that I do here, and I'm not sure what it is.  Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

    Hi Jas,

I'd go just for the 1920x1080p preset with a cadence that is appropriate for your clip. If 'Ladder to the chassis' is DISABLED in Prefs, then the video must be centered in the view of the program, with no necessary additional cropping. For example, if I put a video clip HD in an SD sequence, I don't see the whole image HD - I'll see just the center of the largest element, which represents only 720 x 480 pixels from the center of the larger picture of 1920 x 1080.

So if you place your clip of 5760 x 1200 into a sequence of 1920 x 1080, you should see just the central part, with a bit of top and bottom are cropped since it is larger than the frame. You can use Motion > scale who bring down a little if nothing is cut (with the exception of the sides, of course).

In addition to preferences setting, which affects the elements at the time of importation, you can with the right button of your clip on the timeline and select or deselect "Scale to the chassis" it according to the sequence by sequence also.

    Hope this works for you

    Thank you

  • Issue of video crop and zoom

I'm new to this product and could not find my specific problem (or at least not a not recognize).

I used video uploaded to make a simple music video (to experiment on the trial version).  I have the first clip in the sequence, and then I add a second clip and after working with her for a few review of minutes than in the sequence Viewer, video is enlarged and the sides are cropped if I see only an enlarged photo of the Center.  The zoom has always adjusted well.  I don't understand why the video is automatically enlarged and cropped by first and when I delete the clip and replace it does the same thing.

    Any idea?

The first clip in the video was a 640 x 360, while the second video is 1280 x 720 and had every two square pixels (1.0)

However, they were the two WMVs.

The fact that the Zoom level is set to made means that the display in the program monitor is zoomed to place the Panel, is not that the video is resized to fit the sequence.

If your second clip is larger than the first, and that you place the second clip in a sequence that is sized for the first, then naturally you will only see a piece (for example, the Center cropped in your case), unless reduce you the second clip. Or use a larger sequence.

If you want the item to be measured automatically to fit the sequence, then you can enable the default scale to frame size preference. (See this for a video explanation of this preference.)

In general, you evolve with the property scale of the impact trajectory, not with the Zoom setting in the control panel.

Hi TrevorTubbs, you can disable the zoom in the browser with the method described in http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locking_preferences & locking these preferences:

  • Question of culture and guide for multiple images.

I'm trying to create recurring landmarks for about 100 images all need to be cropped and balanced for web use.

At present, all the images are the same size, but need to be cropped to a specific size for the web. The output dimensions are 465px x 349px, but all the images are of another product. I am trying crop for a "balanced" feeling because the images are clicked well and for that I am trying to create a guide that is displayed on the screen that I reduce the image so I can have a point centered but also equal the top and the bottom of the space.

I tried to create an action to be executed before the harvest, but it is not all the help that I reduce the image and it is not "resize" himself once the image is cropped.

Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong? I use Photoshop 6 on MacOS.

    Thank you in advance.

In this case, it should be fairly easy to create an action that you can batch.

You start with a picture of trim.  The white space around the products should be prepared as to the limits of products,

Then, you use a picture Fit to resize the products to fit a space smaller than 465x349px something like 460x344px.

Use size canvas 465x349px then leave the anchor at the center of all the products must be centered in the Web of white 465x349px and sane size approx.

  • Slideshow with pan and zoom in InDesign?

Can you create a slide show that also has a pan and zoom feature. It would be nice to flipp through images and have the option to if possible zoom large images. Or could you do a multi state object is controlled with buttons and add a pan and zoom for images in this way function.

If one of these options is possible then how do I achiev in InDesign? Or is it possible to make a slideshow with Pan and zoom functions nother? Could it be done with edge animate?

    Max

Create overlays of pan and zoom and then combine in a MSO. Should be

  • Premiere Pro random Pan and Zoom with video

I know that Premiere Pro can't do. I know that still can generate slide shows with random pan and zoom.

What I need is a way to apply randomly pan and zoom for still images and then edit the video between the stills.

I know I can do it in yet, but I need other video FX/audio video/editing features for video editing.

So, I guess my question is anyone know if there is a 3rd party plugin that allows to generate a slideshow in Premiere Pro?

Right now I use a plug-in for Sony Vegas Pro from Vasst, but they are not the same for Premiere Pro.

I wish you first had scripting like Photoshop.

Thanks in advance for your help,

    -Darin

I stand to be corrected, but I think you could produce your slide show in again then after building the DVD grabs the VOB file and re-edit in first.

    Hope that works for you.

In general... If your original file has been overwritten (replaced) by the
edited version there is no way to recover the original.

What software did you use to crop the picture?

If the software is still open... you could try to go to... Change / Cancel...

Windows Live Photo Gallery archives (for example) a copy of the
original file that you can return to but most editing software doesn't
    do not have this option.

The camera doesn't have the ability to crop or resize the image. To do this, you can use the software House Playmemories to change the image.

    Hi gr.

Drag / drop photos to Pages ' 09 seems to be broken. Copy-paste works.

Select the photo in the Photos. Edition > copy

Click in the page document. Edition > paste

    Faster:

    Command + C

    Click on the pages

    Command + V
