• Captivate 9 slide advance automatically even with bar reading custom

  Hello!

  All of a sudden, my courses advance automatically, even with my bar of custom games. It happen before with my previous modules.

  I'm sure that I forgot to check or uncheck something, but I can't seem to understand.

  I enclose the screenshots of the chronology, in addition to the slide.

  

  The PlayBar buttons are set to the rest of the project.

  Don't know what I did wrong, as my other modules are configured in the same way and are working properly. -Which means that I have to click on the next button to move to the next screen. It does not automatically advance to the next slide.

  I don't see any point of suspension in the buttons. Normally I expect a suspension for the next button point (possibly also for the back button at the same time, if one of these buttons never can be hidden)

  I have a lot of clickboxes on a slide. I'm also using a very small in the lower corner with the option ' break up to what the user clicks "checked so that blades don't not progress automatically...   Please, could you post a screenshot of the timeline? How is the action of success for click that are not correct areas implemented? It has no action? Is that the 'blue' message the legend of success for these boxes click not correct? You can keep the break for all the boxes to click, but at the same time. Not needing an extra click on the area to achieve this goal.

  Because you do not Captivate 9, you don't have the option "Continue playing the project" at all. If you want to stop the playhead to continue, you should normally have to use standard measures for click boxes. Take a look on:

• Can you make a menu advance automatically after a certain period of time?

  I'm doing a simple 'game' with DVD menus.  I want a menu in advance automatically to another menu after a certain period of time if the user has not made a selection.  I know that you can set a "end Action" for menus, but I can't seem to be able to do advance automatically to the end action when the duration of the menu is complete.

  I want the user to be able to make a selection in the menu, if they do in the time limit (duration of the menu), but for the menu in advance automatically if they fail to make a choice within the prescribed period.

  Is there a way to do this?

  It's VERY important error in the Script from Adobe... at least, I can't find any option to turn it on...

  Addind manually (ctrl + enter) blank lines is not a real solution... Imagine having a 120 page script and you will need to

  When using Firefox on a Windows system, I can get a url (no hyperlink) open in a new tab by dragging the address bar while pressing the Alt key on the keyboard.
  Now I use Firefox (latest version) on a Linux system (Linux Mint 14, specifically), but I can't do the same thing. is there a solution of reproduc this behavior?

• Interaction with advancing tabs

  I work in Captivate 9.0 and I have created a simple interaction with 3 tabs that reveals a different content for each tab (no interaction, simply by changing the State of an object when you click on the Advanced tab). I've tinkered with all the different actions on the output, etc., but I can't get the slide to stop advance automatically after I clicked on each of the three tabs. I want the user to click on a "Continue" button (that I inserted into the slide and that works) when they are ready to move and after they are able to click back between tabs as they want.

  Is there some setting or the workaround that I'm not aware? I did a quick search on the forum here, but see nothing.

  I just got a question from a reader of my VQS. He wants to know how to "capture" the chapter number and chapter title to my chapters for footers in the document.

  You're right about the automatic chapter numbers - it's just one per doc.

  I think that I use a separate running header (character style) variable and try to pick up the number in the title of the chapter, if it is there or add a number of non-printing 'tag' on the first page of each chapter, if it is not.

• Get a slide at the break for YouTube, then Auto Advance

  I try to include a YouTube video on a slide in Captivate 8, having the video AutoPlay, then have the advance of the blade when it is done either when the user clicks a button. I don't want to make a fixed length, since I can't be sure how long last the video to start.

  Go to the properties of the slide > under Actions > on enter the Show Widget value and output value go to the next slide.

  Then preview it and see if that makes a difference.

  I understand, but in order to move to the next slide automatically the drag and drop must be introduced. It doesn't matter whether or not you include your drag and drop in a quiz.   Drag-n-drop works fine; See SDKPanel/src/ImportFilesDlg.mxml:handleFileDragStart ().

  I recommend starting a project Panel (based on SDKPanel), then pull in your office room by room application code.
