It is safe to delete the Service Packs 1 and 2 if I installed on Windows XP Service Pack 3

I have a laptop with Windows XP Professional. I have the framework installed SP3 and I need to know if I can safely remove service Pack 1 & 2 to free up space on my drive. Also is it a recent service pack more available yet.

No it isn't a good idea as some software may need .net 1 or 2.
