It supports Fusion 7 USB 3.0 with Windows 7?
Simple enough question. Is it supported? If this is not the case, is there absolutely no compelling reason to upgrade.
IN CASE OF FAILURE!

Satellite A500 - 14K - key USB not recognized with Windows 7
I have a Toshiba Satellite A500 14 K, it was pre-installed for Windows 7.
I bought the upgrade to Windows 7: I got a PC upgrade disk and a windows upgrade disk. I launched the first disk, then the other.
There was no particular error in these facilities.Since this upgrade, my PC doesn't recognize USB keys while they work perfectly with the previous version of windows with this pc. They are normally key usb plug-and-play. When I launched the update of windows, the driver exists, but installation failed in error with a message of access problem.
I check that the firewall does not block access. I installed the latest version of the BIOSI can't find any similar pb on the forum

Media Vault 5140 Pro with Windows 7 using
Windows 7 was released shortly after I bought my Media Vault Pro 5140. NTI DriveBackup! 4 software (OEM Version) provided with the Media Vault is incompatible with Windows 7.
I don't find any information indicating that HP will support the use of the MV with Windows 7. I use the MV strictly as a file server or NAS and backup of my PC (so far limited to Windows XP computers since I can not backup my Windows 7 to the MV machines).
The OEM of DriveBackup NT provider is NewTech Infosystems, and they have a commercial product called NTIDriveBackup! 5.5 which is compatible with Windows XP and 7 (the two OS in use on our PC in a network).
Has anyone tried to upgrade the NTI DriveBackup! 4 (OEM version) to the release version 5.5? I fear that there may be some improvements in the OEM version of make the NTI software works with the MV5140. If it will not integrate well with the HP Media Vault Pro Control Center, is there a reason any v5.5 NTI software would not be able to backup on a Media Vault drive when used as a standalone application?
You should be able to use any backup application that supports support upward to network drives. The HP Media Vault includes a file server that is compatible with Windows 7, so, for example, you can map a drive letter to a share on the Media Vault, as card drive X: (or another available drive letter) to \\hpmediavault\backup. You can then use your backup application to back up your hard disk drive X: note, that if you renamed your Media Vault, you need to specify the correct name, "hpmediavault" is just the name of the default server.
However, as you said, the link on the HP Media Vault control center not properly join your backup application, so you will need to start your application to backup manually.
Hope this helps.

Has anyone found a verified correction to get a Western Digital my passport Ultra 1 TB USB 3.0 working with VMware Fusion 6? I know it is problem or failure with VMware Fusion because it works very well in VMware Workstation 10. A largely acquired VMware workshop, it's very disappointing.
History
Built the new virtual machine for Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 7 x 64 and conducted all Microsoft Updates using VMware Fusion 6.0.3 and OS X 10.9.2 with Late 2012 13 "MacBook Pro retina.
Problem
Connected to Western Digital my passport drive Ultra 1 to USB 3.0 to newly built VM. The following error:
The "(Western Digital My Passport 0741) device" could not connect to its ideal host controller. "
Solution (that is, not really a Solution)
Use VMware Workstation 10 on workstation hp Elite 8300 running Windows 7 Professional x 64. No problem encountered.
If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this very annoying VMware Fusion and USB 3.0 I would be very happy.
It is probably because the linux distribution supports USB 3.

480 satellite CDT, with Windows 95 osr, how to use USB
I guess it's impossible, but is there a solution
thaksHi, look what I found
"What Microsoft (http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q247/9/69.ASP)" has to say about USB support in Win95 ".
Excerpt from Microsoft Knowledge Base
"Windows 95 OSR 2.1 and OSR 2.5 provide base support USB which was developed as the technology first emerged. Based on today's more mature USB technology, there are a number of limitations with USB support in Windows 95 OSR 2.1 and Windows 95 OSR 2.5.These limitations have been addressed in Microsoft Windows 98 and carried over to Microsoft Windows 98 Second edition. Addressing these limitations required several architectural changes that are not portable back to Windows 95 OSR 2.1 or Windows 95 OSR 2.5.
Microsoft recommends that customers who need a more robust USB environment upgrade to Windows 98 or Windows 98 Second edition. »
Determine if your Version supports USB
The first thing you need to do to activate the USB in Win95 is to determine which version of the operating system that you use. Please note that the original or the first version of Windows 95, including the update and the version has, is NOT capable of USB connectivity. There is NO updates for these versions of Win95 which can provide USB support. Versions Win95 B & C limited USB functionality. The first operating system of Microsoft to fully support USB is Win98 first edition.I also found a link which is very interesting-> http://www.usbman.com/Win95%20USB%20Guide.htm
Does that answer your question? ;)

Satellite U500 - problem with Windows 7 and HSDPA USB modem
Hello
My wife recently purchased a Toshiba Satellite U500, that came pre-installed with Windows 7 64-bit.A few days later, I bought a modem high-speed HSDPA USB by Alcatel. The problem started immediately that we plugged the modem, that drivers would not install.
Then I went to the Web of Alcatel site and found the drivers for windows 7 for her. But then we hit another road block since now the drivers are installed and it does not detect the modem, but whenever we try to connect to the internet, screen flickers at the connection for a moment and then disconnects again.I found cela a lil strange so I tried to connect using my own pc which has a 32-bit Windows 7 and it works fine there.
It is the same for a machine that still had Windows XP. Makes me think its something to do with 64-bit Windows 7 itself. Could someone help please?Thank you and best regards.
I don't think that someone here can help you with this problem. You will be very happy if someone on this forum has exactly the same model of laptop including same USB modem.
In my opinion, you have two options: either you can clarify this point with the support of Alcatel (they have enough experience with own products) or with people from the nearest Toshiba service provider service.
Have you tried to test the features with the Win7 32-bit version?

Is DAQ Measurement Computing USB - 1608FS compatible with labview?
I have DAQ USB-1608FS from Measurement Computing company, and I was trying to see if it is possible to use
This data acquisition with labview 2012. I tried to download the drivers from their company http://www.mccdaq.com/usb-data-acquisition/USB-1608FS.aspx
but when I tried to use labview in the DAQmx the DAQ tool is not detect it by LabView. So, if anybody out there knows if this data acquisition
really can work with labview, please let me know.
Their driver seems to be ULx http://www.mccdaq.com/daq-software/universal-library-extensions-lv.aspx
and he said that he supports LabVIEW 2012. I suppose you open a sample and the device does not appear? The device is displayed in the Windows Device Manager? It seems that this driver/device will work, there may be just a few questions it initialize properly on your machine (either with Windows or Measurement Computing software). You must be to open a debate on their forums or call their support help line.
Good luck! Let us know some of the above and, of course, let us know if find you the solution.

How to format a dvd disc to a USB LITEON eTAU108 with XP to drive
Hello I'm trying to back up data on a USB drive for device DVD LITEON eTAU108 with XP, I don't seem to be able to format the drive. Can anyone suggest a way forward. I can't seem to find any instruction or direction under MS Help and support.
Thank you.
Windows XP does not natively support in any format of writing on DVD, but it supports CD writing. You have need of an optical medium write request to write on DVDs, for example Nero, Roxio etc.
Optical media can be formatted and used as if they were huge floppy (packet writing), but I found this method of writing data to be very reliable.
Much better, IMO, to burn the media with a list specific files using your favorite application.

Problem with 2 USB flash drive in Windows XP sp3.
I have a USB 2 pci card - USB 2 card, with the hub 7 ports (powered) USB. Sometimes, everything works fine. Most of the time I can't access flash USB dirve. Printer, scanner, camera, photo, mouse, all connected work very well. Plug the flash drive and errors occur. The flash player works fine in laptop (Win xp sp3). Difference between the two machines, the laptop has only 2 USB ports. Have tried to uninstall the USB controllers and re-setup. Flash drive works fine in the desktop integrated USB 1.1. Have checked with Kingston USB drive flash technical support without success.
When dirve flash does not, Device Manager displays the flash player at the top of the page section of controllers USB bus, as well as generic USB (USB 2?) hub. When the flash works do not drive, hub Generic USB appears in the second USB bus controllers.Someone help? Please, I beg you.Hello
Tried your suggestions, without success.
Have now connected powered hub USB 2 on my edge USB 1.1, with all devices USB works fine.
Probability of problems seems to be my pci - USB 2 card.
Being disabled, it is very convenient for me to have the hub USB 2 powered on my work surface to facilitate the connection of my devices.
Thanks for your help anyway.
