• fLatest version of Lightroom wont let me download all my photos in jpeg.

  I met a very unusual situation, I was going on all my old photos.  I have a series of 570 photos I want to import into Lightroom. When I select Import and then go to the folder in which they are located, it shows pictures of 570 and then only allows me to import the very last 5 files.  These files include jpeg 3 and 2 psd files.  what I don't understand is why it allows only for the last 5 files to import to 570.  Can someone tell me please on this please.  The photos were taken on a Canon EOS 1000 d DSLR.

  Lightroom did not matter these files as the file names already exist in Lightroom.

  BearShare default installs a lot of other rubbish - and changes your research assistants.

  Download and install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (www.malwarebytes.org - free version) - update but do NOT enable the trial of real-time protection. Run a full scan of the system.

  8.1 is a beta and has a lot OF known issues under development and lot of unknown problems that have not yet been discovered.  It should be downloaded only by those who are comfortable, dealing with the problems of a trial version of the software.

  Lost the brightness controls and volume: do you need a driver. Your computer manufacturer may not have built their hardware drivers for Windows 8.1 control again.  They are not forced to do it to the beta-test system, so "use at your own risk.

  "Unable to download Norton".  What is the error you get?  Is this a problem with the download from the Norton site, or the installation process it?

  "Adobe Flash does not work".  Yes it does, it is integrated and you don't need to install it.  Just go to any Web site that uses flash and it will take care of itself.

  "Toshiba and Microsoft Point fingers"  Toshiba is not necessary to press the test system for windows 8.1, and Microsoft provides no support for the test software.  That is why they you warned that the 8.1 has many known and unknown problems and warned against install unless you like to manipulate and test out these problems.

  Looks like you need back to Windows 8 and wait for the final version.

  I'm trying to download Captivate to show to a client who wishes to use it.

  I went to http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=captivate

  and chose English Mac.

  

  I had a very small image DMG.

  

  I opened the dmg.

  

  I double clicked on the pkg to install. I got an installation dialog box.

  

  I agree to the agreement.

  

  I had a standard installation screen.

  

  I was suspicious that 31 MB seemed awfully small for a large application. But I clicked on install.

  A few seconds later I learned that the installation was successful.

  

  I looked for Adobe Captivate in my Applications folder. He wasn't there.

  

  I tried another browser. I got a fatal error.

  

  I tried the direct download link. Nothing happened. And I've waited a long time.
