• Make a ringtone on new iTunes - Help!

  I'm doing a song I recently bought into a ringtone for my iPhone 6 s, and each unique tutorial directs turn you into an AAC file, but with the new iTunes, when you right click on the song there no option to turn it into an AAC file. In fact, when I checked the file type of the song, its listed as a "purchased AAC audio file", then, what do you do for a song is already an AAC?   I do not use the new iTunes so I can't test anything.  You've always been able to convert AAC AAC; for example, when wanting a lower bitrate copy.

  Hi everyone, I'm having a problem with syncing my iPhone.  I keep my iPhone saved on my macbook and do it regularly.  Now, I deleted a bunch of apps on my phone, but when I sync with iTunes it keeps hand those apps that I took on my phone!  How can I avoid this?  Please help. THX!

  In the list of applications for your device in iTunes, you must click the button uninstall or delete prior to synchronization. Or you go to the list of all of your downloaded applications and remove those that you do not want. Remove only the phone is not permanent.

  I cannot load the new version 10.1 on my windows XP Edition family.  I called Itunes and they told me to get with Microsoft technical support.  They gave me the steps to uninstall and reinstall Itunes but when I go to uninstall it gives me an error and says: "the component you are trying to use is on a network source that is not available.  Click ok to try again or enter a different path to the folder containing the Itunes.msi installation package.  Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

• iPhone not found in iTunes help...

  Hi everyone so I use iTunes on windows 10.  My computer recognizes my phone but iTunes does not work.  When I ran iTunes Diagnostics it says the following:

  Connectivity device tests *.

  iPodService 12.4.0.119 (x 64) is running.

  iTunesHelper 12.4.0.119 is running.

  Service Apple Mobile Device Service 3.3.0.0 is running.

  No controller Serial Bus universal found.

  No FireWire (IEEE 1394) host controller found.

  Synchronization Device tests *.

  No iPod, iPhone or iPad found.

  I know there was no detected USB because I checked it in the Device Manager but I'm not sure what to do the same thing with the FireWire issue

  This isn't the phone because it's the same with my wife's phone and my phone of girls.  Any ideas?

  If you haven't already done so, try these troubleshooting steps. If you are using a USB hub, try to connect directly to the PC. Also try different cables.

  Try the following steps for the Apple TV 2 & 3, check if things work after each step if necessary, before you try the next.

  1. Restart the Apple TV (settings > general > restart).
  2. Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL cables for 30 seconds.
  3. Restart your router. (Also try to remove the power cord for at least 30 seconds)
  4. Reset Apple TV (settings > general > reset > reset all settings)
  5. Restore the Apple TV (settings > general > reset > restore)

• 12 iTunes does not start automatically when I connect iPhone 6s

  I have a desktop Windows 10 new and I connect my 6s iPhone more synchronization with Outlook, every day.  When I connect my iPhone, iTunes not open automatically as it has always done in later versions.  If I manually open iTunes, then the iPhone syncs fine, but I would like to do this annoying extra step every day.

  I have read several posts on this topic and here is what I tried:

  -J' I uninstalled/reinstalled iTunes

  -J' checked I have the vs 12.4.3.1 of Windows and iTunes updates

  -I went to Device Manager > Apple Mobile Device Driver > pointed to: \Program Apple Mobile Device Support\Drivers updated and referred 'the driver is up-to-date.

  -In iTunes > edit > Preferences > devices > prevent iPhone sync automatically is not checked

  -In iTunes > my iPhone > summary, is checked automatically sync when this iPhone is connected.  I also tried unchecking it, apply, close/reopen iTunes and then check again with the same result.

  -J' have tried using a different USB port

  In addition to this, when I connect my iPhone to a different USB port, Windows gives a saying "Select to choose what happens with this device.  When I click on it, Windows provides about 5 options on how to import the device or to open an application when the device is connected, but iTunes is not in the list of apps to select from.  In addition, in older versions of Windows, there is a link to select a different program from your pc to use if it wasn't in the shortlist and this link/option is no longer there it that it seems impossible to select iTunes opens automatically when the iPhone is connected.

  FYI, I had exactly the same problem on my old pc once it has been upgraded to Windows 10.

  Does anyone know how get iTunes opens automatically when I connect my iPhone?

  I suspect that you need to tell Windows not to do anything, make sure that the iTunes Helper application is configured to run on start-up (activation/deactivation of the next triggering and to solve this problem) and in iTunes, select the device and choose the option to run iTunes when the device is connected.

  Looks like you want to find your ringtones in iTunes.  I use custom ringtones myself and iTunes is a great way to manage them.

  To locate them in iTunes, in the upper part of the screen, click Display > media kind > tones.  This will open iTunes to window shades.  You can also use the command-8 to get to the same place.

  I installed the new iTunes for Windows Update, and I can access is no longer to "Get album artwork" when I right click on the songs.  Has it been moved somewhere else?  iTunes help that still lists as a method to make iTunes do work without a manual addition.
