Ive lost my Windows 7 disc, but uses a restore and its update from XP to 7.
It is a bridge of 2005 and it only shows disk 0 Partition 1 so. If I delete or format, then I can be up a Creek because I don't have the original disc any longer
If you use the initial recovery of manufacturers media, then his only will restore Windows XP. If you need to reinstall Windows 7, you will need to have your original reinstall media for this too.

Why did Windows using stealth tactics and install updates without permission or notice?
It becomes a regular event, it also seems to restart in the middle of the night to set up these updates. I don't know what the intention but
[Vista 32 bit] I returned this intrusion in the files to my PC and I always despise microsoft to decide to act like a pirate. I'll give microsoft some time to answer this, but I expect to be as horrible as they are usually with the customer service. So in a few weeks, I'll start to smear the name of microsoft as much as possible and sway anyone my possible to buy non-Microsoft products.Read here:
Microsoft Update product team blog: Windows Update and automatic reboots

Change how Windows installs or notifies you of updates
If you select the download updates but let me choose... option, no update will install without your approval. Suppose an update will require a reboot and does not approve the installation of an update until & unless you are ready to restart.
You can change the AU for the "updates but let me choose whether to download and install them" setting. Once you have done this, you will need to approve the updates are downloaded, the updates are installed and where they are installed.
I prefer "check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them" setting.

Original title: problem ejecting USB Mass Storage Device
When I try to eject safely my external hard drive safely I get an error with this title message telling me that "this device is currently in use. Close any programs or windows that might be using the device, and then try again. "I did it. I also tried to close all programs running on the computer and it does not help. I also tried to restart the computer, and it also does nothing. If anyone has any ideas that might be useful please let me know.

A few months ago my ability to use sizes, colors and different fonts, suddenly disappeared. These choices were always available by watching my email and I used them regularly. No one, that I had never heard such a thing happens. I left it alone until I found someone to help him. Then, a few days ago, when I clicked on 'write', two things happened. First of all, I could not transfer, answer, or even to see my email addresses collected. Second, he was no longer a place that says 'send '. My page of e-mail filled all of the screen and when I reduced, there is still no way to see my list or send. I am a novice when it comes to patches and words but, I asked people who have some experience with PC, they left mouth gaping. I contacted Fairpoint and they said that it must be a problem with Thunderbird. Most of the people I asked said they didn't not Thunderbird. It has been suggested that I have reinstall T.bird but said I could also lose on my PC. I'd appreciate any help you can give. Thanks, Jim
When you click on write and open the new message editor, press Alt to display the Menu bar, then select all the toolbars under view/toolbars. In addition, press F9 to display the Contacts sidebar.
