  Is the problem that the Windows task bar is hidden by the Firefox window, or that changes to the taskbar make it impossible to change the windows?

  If the taskbar are hidden by Firefox, it is possible that Firefox is in full screen mode. The F11 key toggles between full screen and normal views.

  Another potential problem is that Firefox sometimes seems to collect data of erroneous screen size of the operating system and that the window of Firefox too large. You can rename the relevant settings file to see if that helps.

  I changed the subject: config to make the rotation gesture to move between tabs and it worked great for well over a year. It now behaves properly, as described here:

  It used to be very controllable move a tab on, now it is erratic and moves quickly and the unexpected tabs regardless of the slowness, I do the gesture of rotation. It's the main reason I use Firefox on Chrome and I will continue to do so unless there is no solution for this.

  Just put the browser.gesture.twist.threshold to something around 15-25.

  I see that there is a keyboard shortcut for switching tabs in a window of Firefox, but I would also like one to switch between the windows of the browser. I guess it's easier on Windows, where each browser window kind of behaves as an application separate, but on the Mac OS, an application can have multiple windows. Thus, the operating system does not provide supported to switch between browser windows via a keyboard shortcut; It allows to switch between applications, which brings all of the windows in the application target forward.

  I searched the Board Discussions and found an old post about the IVI Drivers for Renault.  In 2005, said it might be possible in 5-6 years.  Does anyone know if something has been done yet?  Mainly interested in domestic products.

  There is no class IVI for DAQ devices and I doubt that the IVI Foundation will never create a. You must contact them or read the minutes of past meetings to see if it is still discussed. I'm sure that if a class is never created NOR support it just as they IVI drivers for pc instruments (scope, function gen, etc.).

• With the help of MAX vs Teststand for switching

  Can someone explain what is happening here?

  I went to MAX and gave all my or alias switches (MUX).  This is the tab of channels/exclusions.  According to the diagrams tab is a road named column groups. I can give my Relay connection (as close to relay 2) alias here... like 'Close Relay 2 '.  If I click on relay 2 on the diagram, it shows a link between ch2 and com.  Fine.   Now when I go in Teststand > tab properties > switch > activate the change... I have the 'operation' 'Connect'  Is - this redundant?  I already connected when I called him.  If its Teststand because does not know what I want, when I call this particular alias he "cut" when I select disconnect from the drop down?

  Hey Clint,.

  NEITHER Switch Executive exists in MAX and TestStand (and LabVIEW, etc.).  You can program individual routes to TestStand, or you can beforehand create complex route groups to the MAX, and then call the road/route groups TestStand.  Suppose for example that you want to connect A to B, C, D, E and F, you can create a great course called 'channels' band in MAX, then add explicit connections to this group of ranges (from A to B, C, D, E and F).  You simply connect 'great channels' now in TestStand and NI Switch Executive will do the rest.

  While you can connect channels in MAX, the intention is that you create route groups in MAX and then use these groups of road to the test (if for no other reason than TestStand is automated so that MAX is not).  At the end of the day, you can use the SW but you wish to, but we intend to the run-time execution to automate in teststand.  Think that MAX is the debug/configuration environment.

  Connection Lifetime is how long the relays must stay in touch.  For example, inflicting on life 'Step' means that, after this step TestStand is completed, the relay will be disconnected.

  Desktop mode is the concept that a relay can be connected more than once in the software.  Until the connection number is 0, the relay is open.  If the number of relays is greater than 0, then the relay is closed.  For example, suppose that you have two different tests that can run simultaneously, and they share the same relay.  Specifically, 1 tuberculin relay A and B, while the tuberculin 2 relay B and C.  If you are able to run both events at the same time (function of your DUT), then when you connect test 1 and 2 at the same time, relay A and C will be all both have a connection of 1 account (they were connected once), but the relay B will be 2 connections.  Thus, when testing 2 finishes and disconnects its associated relay, test 1 could still be running; Since the relay B will have a connection of 1 account after test 2 'disconnects' relay B, relay B will always be closed and 1 test will not be interrupted.  The concept takes a minute to wrap your head around, but finally it is quite powerful.

  OR Switch Executive is a very powerful program.  Once you've played a little with it for a bit, it is intuitively easy, but there is a curve of rampup higher compared to our other software program switch (OR-DAQmx, OR-Switch, etc.).  OR Switch Executive is particularly well suited for TestStand.

• I am using IVI step switch in TestStand 4.1.1 and also try to call the Actions of LabVIEW using IVI

  I use IVI pass the stages and steps of IVI DMM TestStand 4.1.1 and then I have an Action step that IVI spend IVI DMM and features.  The problem I have is that if I run the VI in LabVIEW bear only functions without any error, if I run of TestStand without all previous calls to switch IVI or IVI DMM it works also, but if I run the sequence with a step of IVI teststand pass first I get the following error:

  I remember there used to be a problem with the steps of the IVI and IVI running LabVIEW, does anyone know if this problem has been corrected?

  You can.  There are also a few additional options that you can use also.  In Windows 8, you can point to the top left corner of the screen to see your latest app (click to go to him).  If you want a list of all applications you have used recently, drag the pointer down to the corner and complete is displayed in the view.

• Keyboard shortcut for switching monitors

  I have 2 monitors attached to my system, one of them is on the desktop when I'm sitting at the computer and the second monitor is on the wall in front of my bed, so I can watch movies and play games while I'm in my bed, I never use two of the same thing at the same time , I use on the desktop or on the wall, never both.

  I wish there was a keyboard shortcut that allows you to quickly switch between monitors.

  Now, in Windows Vista to pass the main monitors that I have to do this: go to display settings, select the monitor I want to be primany and then turn off the monitor I do not want to use, and then it gives me 15 seconds to say yes or no on the new display settings.

  I'm intrigued by my question. I have a switch on 9 that cannot authenticate with our server GANYMEDE. The configurations are the same as any other switch, but when I try to open a session using the account GANYMEDE + access is denied. This is the configuration for the AAA/GANYMEDE on the switch.

  AAA authorization exec default group Ganymede + local

  We will build a small remote site that uses two Windows 2008 servers.  We would like to as redundancy in firewalls, IPS, and switches.   Is it better to buy stand-alone 5510 s ASA (with embedded IPS) and 2960 s, or is it better to buy a cat of 6000 with modules FW.  We will have internet several IP addresses available.  I don't know much about Nexus or the last HW options, then maybe there are options, I don't know.  Thank you

  The Cat6500 with ASA - SM is much more expensive then standallone peripheral. If you think the 5510 and the flow is sufficient, I would use the following equipment:

  2 * ASA-5515-X-IPS as active / standby

  2 * cat 3750-X as a stack with redundant power supplies.

  This will give you a maximum of redundancy for an affordable price.
