Jam on Dell AO ifiles compensation carrier

I checked ink carteridges, cables, of possible paper jam - everything is clear, but the printer says there is always a carrier jam.  What else can I do to get the printer working?

    The Feedback forum is, as you can easily name, post your comments on the web site of Microsoft Answers, only not to ask questions of the printer.  I moved your post to the windows 'Hardware and drivers' forum.  I also changed the evocative title of your problem.  "Printer print" is not a very useful title.

    Clearly if your printer is having hardware problems, you should consider a repair shop or buy a new one.  Sometimes, if you clean the paper path, paper jams can be relieved, but with most of small printers, they are not gererally not repairable.

  • 926 printer carrier jam

    My 926 printer keeps saying that I have a carrier jam.  I already have made sure that nothing hinders the cartridges, turned the power off and on, even uninstalled and reinstalled the printer on my computer.  The cartridges are intact, complete, and I have paper in there.  I even resorted to completely disconnected and shaking the thing upside down, backwards, everything short of throw it against the wall.  Support tells me its and old and that I should just buy a new.  I just bought 2 new toner cartridges for it that cost as much as a new printer.  If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it a lot.

  • Paper printer multifunction Dell C1765nfw color Jam error 077-901 cover rear

    My C1765nwf has an error code of 077-901. I had been printing on paper layer by using a custom setting and a piece is dislodged from the plain paper that he was double-sided taped to. I got the paperwork on the back of the printer, but the error still appears. I guess that there may be a small piece of something in there, making the sensor thinks it is still stuck. I'm almost certain I have every piece of outside, but obviously I can't have.

    I ran this test using a forum for a different Dell printer with the same error code ( http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/peripherals/f/3528/t/19260009 ):

    ' 1. turn the printer off.
    2 press and hold the UP and DN keys while turning on the printer. the buttons can be released when the screen LCD indicates "diagnosis."
    3 LCD should indicate "Client Mode" and "ESS Diag" (or something similar).
    4. press on the arrow of DN to display "IOT Diag". Press the button ENTER.
    5 LCD should indicate "IOT Diag" and "Digital Input"; Press the button ENTER.
    6. press on TOP / DN buttons until the desired DI - xx is displayed, then press ENTER button to run the test.

    The test we want to execute is the Regi-sensor test - DI-3. Press the arrow upward until the LCD shows "DI - 3 OFF" then press enter. The LCD display should now show "DI - 3 L 0". If it says "DI - 3 H 0", there is indeed little the area regi-sensor paper jamming. »

    My results show:

    As the forum that I am referencing is on another printer, I don't know how to proceed. I have had this printer for about 4 months, when this happened, but I still had an old printer that I had used before that so I put just this side at a time. Unfortunately, I put her side for as long that the warranty is now expired, but I would really like to be able to use it again. I'm handy with tools and electronics, so I feel perfectly comfortable to try to fix it myself. I don't want to go tearing into it without any direction or knowing what I want even to. Does anyone have any tips for me to move forward? This who should I check/watch next?

    About your concern, the error code indicates a failure of the sensor input or debris stuck somewhere, try pressing and holding the AC button for about five seconds. Normally a blank sheet should be pulled thru forcing any debris. If the error persists, your best option is to replace the printer because it is the course of action that we would take if it was under warranty.

    I have included a picture of the expansion of parts in this area.

    1. turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
    2. remove the imaging drum unit and set aside
    3. using a Phillips screwdriver #2 (strongly suggest a magnetic tip), remove the 4 "tap live" of keeps his record cpl on the frame of the printer.
    4. lift the left side of the registration assy. As you continue to raise the left side, slide the left unit to disengage the gears. Take note of the right side, as it is still connected. There may not be enough slack in wiring and you may need to loosen the wiring of the 'fixing', so you can lift the regi on the right end unit. (we don't want to play with the connections, if possible).
    5. Regi-sensor and actuator should now be exposed. The actuator is point "1" in the drawing and shaded yellow.

    If you press the top of the actuator to the rear of the printer and release, he must freely spring back up-right. You should be able to view in the slot to see if there is any residual pieces of paper the sensor or actuator of jamming the paper.

    If/when you put it together, make sure that any wiring down behind registration Assy is completely back in the cable 'fixing '. If this is not the case, the drum CPL can damage wiring when you re - insert into the printer.

    When I try and print the first sheet of paper starts to feed into the printer, then it stops and the printer starts to print, then I get an error message saying paper jam. The book pulls easily.

    It seems that the rollers do not work for the paper in.

    Updated - more research stumbled upon the suggestion to hold the printer upside down and shake hard. I did it-, then managed to force feeding a thick sheet of paper through and here came out of a paperclip (how did that get in there?!) and now it works again.

    Support perhaps is not available, because the Inspiron 3650 specifications say that only 1 x 3.5 "hard drive is supported, but hard 2 x 2.5" drives are supported, see page 12 here:

    The information provided in your post is not sufficient to diagnose your problem. To at least tell you if it's a hardware or software problem, we need to know the name of the printer manufacturer and model number, when exactly meet the problem and what are the symptoms you see.

    Usually, a paper jam is caused by a hardware failure in a printer. So, at this point, I also suggest you go to the website of the manufacturer of the printer support and ask for help on their part. This can help you better.

    Something like DBAN allows you to clean the disc entirely (zero / writing) and then try to install the operating system from a well known together of the installation media.  (CD, DVD, USB key, etc..)

    You could contact Dell and get them to send media recovery/restore.

    You can download the ISO for specific Windows 7, _ _ - bit editing, you have the product key (sticker on the computer, probably).  Try it and new media.

    You could create a Ubuntu Live media set and start to look at the situation in car - erase all partitions...
