  I HAVE A VISTA PREMIUM COMPUTER. I UPGRADED THE JAVA TO 6U13.  AFTER THE UPGRADE WOULD NOT WORK WITH JAVA. I CALLED HP AND IT WAS DECIDED TO RESTORE THE COMPUTER TO THE ORIGINAL STATE WHEN HE BOUGHT AND SAID TO REDOWNLOAD JAVA, BUT FIRST OF ALL, I DID ALL UPDATES OF WINDOWS FIRST. THEN DOWNLOADED JAVA AND STILL DOES NOT WORK. UNINSTALLED AND DOWNLOADED AN EARLIER VERSION DID NOT ALWAYS WORK. BY TRIAL AND ERROR, I DISCOVERED THAT JAVA ICON IS NOT IN THE INTERNET OPTIONS ADVANCED CALLED HP BACK TAB AND THEY WENT THROUGH SECURITY WITH ME AND TOLD ME TO RE-DOWNLOAD THIS NEW AND THIS SHOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM. I WENT TO JAVA .COM FOR DOWNLOAD. CHECK THE VIRTUAL MACHINE AND HUMAN DANCE SAID IT DID NOT WORK PROPERLY. I FOUND THE 6U13 IN THE CONTROL PANEL AND IN THE add REMOVE PROGRAMS.   The app works well in the Simulator.

  I use Eclipse to generate the ALX file.

  You must request the addition on the author. Thunderbird has no control over software 3rd party development.
