Java missing installer.dll

I am trying to reinstall java on my computer, but whenever I use any Installer (offline / online / x 64 / x 86), and none of them work. I uninstall java by mistake, but really, I can't reinstall. When I tried to uninstall it says c:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\\installer.dll is missing, but when I install it says nothing, but the java site is not able to detect my java and sutch games as Minecraft which requires Java says he can't detect any java environment. What should I do?

I use Windows 8 Pro x 64

Thanks for any help

P.S. I tried to remove and reinstall with Javara also

Francis,

I know that you got this resolved, but I found out what was causing this exact problem and I wanted to share with someone else who needs to understand why it's happening and the true benchmark for it.  I've seen other people having this problem too.
There is a key "reg" which grab in HKLM\Microsoft\Windows\Uninstall that makes any update of Java fail, 32-bit or 64-bit. In fact, we have been seeing a problem where the Panel said there is no version of Java installed, and yet no installation would fail. However, if we executed the CCLEANER uninstall utility, the old version (s) occur there. There is a certain folders at this location.  However, if you are looking for, you will find the Java folder.  There, you will find a 'VIEW' key which has the "------" double backslash which causes uninstallation of the older fail.  Change this to a single "-", then run the 32-bit or 64-bit Installer.  It worked for install us with a lot of clients and servers, omitting the Java.
I hope this helps.

If you are unable to uninstall Java using the tool to uninstall Java or control panel > programs and features, download JavaRa(free), which should be able to do the job.

Cannot start the application... Missing ToshdpAPI.dll.

    I'm running Windows 7 Pro on a Satellite M500

I have here a way to get a new copy of this dll?

    Hello

I searched a bit using Google and it seems that TosHdpAPI.dll belongs to Toshiba Bluetooth software stack but he s strange why it is important for your Quicken program

In your case I would try to reinstall the Bluetooth software which can be downloaded here:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/

If it doesn t help you should contact the manufacture of the Quicken program. Usually, they should know how you can get rid of this error message. They probably have a patch (update) for this problem.

  • Windows XP is missing Normaliz.dll still boots and loads the shell perfectly.

I tried to run a piece of software when I noticed that it wouldn't start.  He could always back "cannot locate the Normaliz.dll. Reinstall the application might solve the problem. ' So I did, more than 15 times.  Nothing, so I watch system32 and enter this place. C:\WINDOWS\system32\Normaliz.dll is when it appeared

I don't know how the shell is the same load with the dll missing. In addition, yes the model is in safe mode because I will try a reinstall that.  and to all these 'experts' not sfc/scannow not recognise dll IS NOT CHECK THEM and do not say to do a repair install, I already did. He still didn't.  One last thing. Ive oticed when I meet Unicode, I get bad text, this is the result of the DLL is not obviously.

I don't know how it works because if the file is actually missing, usually, I see this:

Explorer.EXE - unable to locate component: this application did not start
because Normaliz.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

It is in the case Log:

    Description:
Application popup: Explorer.EXE - unable to locate component: this application did not start

Checked to see if the file was really missing, right?

Because Explorer does not start, you need to use something like the Task Manager to navigate and repair your system, but you can fix it if a missing normaliz.dll is the only problem / real.

The subject still has merit, but now SkyDrive has changed to OneDrive and you can find a copy of the normaliz.dll file you need here:

No repair install will fix it, is not on your XP installation CD and there is no way to sfc/scannow will fix it because it is what sfc/scannow does, this isn't how it works and it's not what it is for.

If missing winhttp.dll, some Services from Microsoft (and others) just will not start:

I downloaded a copy of XP Pro SP3 file you need on my SkyDrive (everyone has a SkyDrive for file sharing).

You can download it and when you do, place a copy of the file in these two folders (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):

    c:\Windows\System32
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache (this is where XP keeps backups of important files).

Here is the link to my SkyDrive and you can get the file you need here:

    http://CID-6a7e789cab1d6f39.SkyDrive.live.com/redir.aspx?RESID=6A7E789CAB1D6F39! 311

When you see the files available for download, you can not see the file extension (.exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc.), but when download you them they will have the right extension.

When you download the file (especially if you use Internet Explorer), when you get a chance to save the file, your browser is unable to save the file with an extension (by example, .exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc) then you will need to manually add the extension appropriate to the file when you download the file before you save it.

You can download the file without the extension, and then rename the file to add the appropriate extension.  You do not want to use a file called winhttp when the name of the file should really be called winhttp.dll (if the downloaded file has no extension, you will need to change the name of the file to add the appropriate extension to make it work.

You then put the downloaded files in the correct folders on your system.

Sfc/scannow will not replace the winhttp.dll file missing, but it will be a frustrating waste of time and a technician to support running wild goose chase.  Technical support engineers are hired by Microsoft if you hope that someone would know better.

It's a shame that the technical support engineer did not his own advice to "check how it works.

  • Missing hal.dll – is driving me crazy!

Thus, a colleague brought me a XP computer that wouldn't start. The message I get is about either being damaged or missing hal.dll.

So I jumped on the internet for a solution, but none have worked so far, and I got to a point where I'm about to throw it out the window! We want to avoid reinstalling Windows like we don't have a copy of most of the software installed more!

    I've tried so far...

Using the recovery console on the XP disc to develop hal.dl_ - unsuccessfully

You use the recovery disk XP console to run CHKDSK /rconnect - unsuccessfully

Using the recovery console on the XP disc to develop ntoskrnl.ex_ - unsuccessfully

You use the recovery disk XP console to run bootcfg /rebuild - without success (picked up one more installation of XP in RECYCLER but not start not completely)

Install another copy of Windows on the HARD drive in a separate file, then copying the file hal.dll everywhere and by removing the new facility - without success

Anyone has any suggestions more? He makes me crazy!

I backed up all my data, but I have all my installation discs. Nothing I can do about that really,

Looks like you're stuck trying to solve what you have.

Personally, I would like to burn a live cd like ubuntu, download the boot.ini file that I created for you, then place at the root of c drive using the live cd. Restart and see what you get now the error. At least you would spend the boot.ini issue cause you know that you have a good boot.ini file. You can then start the hal.dll if it does not start. but, when you're dealing with a problem that could be one of the two files, you don't really know which way to go. Remove a cause, then focus on the other. At least that's the way I do things. Process of elimination until I get to the root of the problem.

    Hi BradleyMitchell,

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

2 when was the last time it was working fine?

    3. what version of Real player installed on the computer?

Msvcp90.dll error can be caused if the Visual C++ Library Runtime components are missing or corrupt on the computer.

    Method 1

I suggest that scan you SFC on the computer that would be a system file corrupt on the computer search and replace.

The analysis may take some time, so be patient. Windows allows to fix corrupt or missing files it finds. If the information of the installation CD is required to fix the problem, you may be asked to insert your Windows XP installation CD.

Now when I try both messages are in pop up. be really annoyed, I tried another game, Counter Strike Global Offensive, it's the same thing, he has done it before, but it doesn't have a pop-up, it just does not open.

"I have tried several methods, but many of them do not work.

This does not tell us what you tried, so I'll start at the top.

d3d9_43.dll is one of the 'new' DX files, and you have a fresh install of Win7, you need to update DirectX

(even if the "latest" DX files come from 2010).

Download DirectX end-user Runtime Web Installer from the official Microsoft Download Center

DX files can be damaged. In this case you can remove the suspicious file in System32 and sysWOW64 and run the Web Installer to replace this file or reinstall all files DX using the full DirectX Redist (June 2010), which will overwrite all DX files (Web Installer does not overwrite existing files).

The second option is often necessary because you don't always get a specific file mentioned in the error.

Download details - Microsoft Download Center - DirectX Redist (June 2010)

    This file is missing?

Since it is an old game, it is possible that it will simply not work.

Try to use the compatibility options to run the installation - the game is designed for Windows 98, but try different options and if that does not work:
