  I'm working on a project for my programming class that requires a GUI. I started to write an and tried to compile it and I get a pop up window saying "binary Java Platform has stopped working". Don't know how to solve this problem, I tried to restart eclipse and my code to find errors of verification but couldn't find. Here is my code:

  If no Java GUI programs work properly, it is probably bad video drivers. Update those or try to run without hardware acceleration.

  In solaris you shouldn't need to run as root.

  I get the same error on this page. It seems that Pinterest expects to have at least a script page, and the page does not. This should be fixed by Pinterest. In the meantime, you can inject an empty script element in the page by using the Web Console:

  • Select and copy the following line of code (that's a whole line) to the Clipboard

  • On the problem page, if you have already tried the Pin button, reload the page
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + k to open the Web Console

  Hello

  There are problems with date formats supported by the browsers, so I tend to avoid the JavaScript Date object as much as I can.
  In your case, as with most of the Oracle users, DD-MON-YYYY format is not supported in most browsers. If you convert your date on the item page format to yyyy-mm-dd or yyyy/mm/dd him DA would work. But then users may not be comfortable with this format, especially if they are used as MON-DD-YYYY / RR.

  I changed you request in one of the following ways, it now works in IE and FF. Not tested with chrome, but should work with it.
  BTW, I changed the status on your DA 'Never' to prevent it from running.

  Resolution: We were still not able to solve this problem! The only way out of this is to install the JRE1.5 as the x 64 version. In this case, any passage of the 64 bit to 32 bit is necessary and everything is on the right track again.

  But it's still strange and inexplicable :-(

• I've installed the java plugin, but it does not appear in my list of Add-ons. I have RedHat linux OS using the Firefox 24.2.0.

  I already followed your advice to remove the file plugins.dat from the .mozilla directory. The plugin has not yet appeared in the list of Add-ons. Anyone have an idea what might happen?

  You can check the installation path of other plugins on the topic: plugins page.

  I plugins in these locations:

  /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/
  /usr/lib/browser-plugins/
  /usr/java/jre1.7.0_45/lib/i386/libnpjp2.so
  

  One possibility is to create a ~/.mozilla/plugins/ directory and place a symbolic link to the file to plugin Java libnpjp2.so in this folder to see if it helps.

  My environment was working great until there are a few days, then kaboom. Now I'm trying to pick up the pieces and can't seem to be able to install JDeveloper. I use Fedora 10.
  
  Logged in as me, the default version of java is 1.6.0_13.

  I get the installation screen. I can't press the next button. It simply doesn't get it. I then CTRL-C to return to the Terminal and with this version of Java, I have to kill-9 PID found using the command

  ps -ef

  If I perform the same steps in as root, I can install JDeveloper, but then I can only run it as root. At the launch of jdev, I get a screen of 'Select role' empty.

  Thank you for your response. It turned out that the XCode should be updated to 6.2. I was able to download it, but now he sits just 'treatment '.
