JDE build / compile failed

Hello.

I have a Java application code compressed into a file. I extract it, build and run a simulator. Everything's fine. When I make a change to the code and try to rebuild the project, I get the following error:

An exception occurred in the compiler (1.5.0_01). Please fill out a bug in the Java Developer Connection (http://java.sun.com/webapps/bugreport) after checking the Bug Parade of duplicates. Include your program and the following diagnostic tests in your report.  Thank you.
com.sun.tools.javac.code.Symbol$ CompletionFailure: file not found net\rim\device\internal\ui\Border.class

I use JDE v. 4.2.1.41 with JDK 1.5.0. I also tried with JDK 1.4.2. It's the same thing.

Kind regards.

It is a problem with the version of the JDK you are using.  The following link explains.

  • Problem with the compilation by using the new compiler (Compilation failed during execution: compilation-abc)

    Hello

Since the release of the fast compiler, I experienced problems with the compilation of the version release with it.

As it was still in beta, and since it was still possible to use the legacy compiler, I chose to use the legacy compiler each time (especially since it was more stable).

With this 64-bit iOS requirement came into play on February 1, the legacy compiler is no longer available because it has been completely removed from AIR 16 (and all future versions).

Now, I can no longer compile release versions (debug versions are works well) because I have the following error every time:

I tried to pin-point the source of the problem leaving specific things in the code, while removing all the rest,

But so far, all I could find is that he has a problem with the classes that extend EventDispatcher.

Anyone encounter this problem and knows how to work around it?

    Thank you!

I had this problem also with other things. It was difficult to solve. Remove all const and var conversion in the Document class solve my problems

  • Compilation failed during execution: dsymutil

    Hello

You try to compile a standard package for ios with major failure. The fast version works perfectly without any error.

I am on mac os x lion and using flash builder 4.5.1. The error I get is:

Error occurred during the application of packaging:

/var/folders/N4/52v6ttx96c7bnw8vnysh5j780000gn/T/cmd460615453403880056.tmp: line 2: dsymutil: command not found
    Compilation failed during execution: dsymutil

I can not find something posted previously or any where in fact.

    / Daniel

I am answering my own question here.

Install Xcode from the appstore (it's free) and you'll get dsymutil. Weird workaround plans can I run this installer on another computer that had no installed XCode (but still has dsymutil).  But at least it solved the problem.

  • Compilation failed due to an error of Xilinx.

I've recently updated since LV2014 until 2015, and an FPGA VI who previously compiled successfully is no longer made. My goal is a 7951R and I use a module e/s of 6584. A few minutes in the compilation process, I get the below error. I found the White Book of OR describing this problem for 2010 and provide a patch, but this solution has failed for me. Curiously, I can succeed in the compilation of FPGAS screws very simple, but not more complex that were previously viable.

    Okay, that was weird.

I discovered there was a small change between revisions. I had wrong initalized a table by exchanging the entries, so that the size of the array is 0 instead of n. normally, this should be taken at the beginning of the compilation, but this table null was used to initialize a shift register in a while loop and the exit from the while loop enters a loop, where my FIFOs operate. While the loop/shift register seems to be the essential element to the compilation of progress as he did and present it as a mistake of Xilinx. If you delete the while loop then the error is detected quickly and correctly identified.

    Hi guys

I think I can give you a helping hand on this.

I have the same problem when I'm working on the Tutorial (2013) exercise 2 with Rio evaluation Kit.

You can try one of the following option.

    Solution 1.

    1. in the VI package manager.

Select 'Tools '->' Options'-> "General '->' package Installation"-> Unchecked 'mass Compile screws after Installation of the package.

    Solution 2

    1. in the VI package manager, uninstall the driver LCD

    2. unchecked "Mass compile screws after Installation of the package" (see Solution 1)

3 reinstall the driver of the LCD screen.

Mine did after Solution 2 and the compiler works.

Hope it will be useful for you guys.

    Thank you

  • FPGA Compilation fails because of the mistake of Xilinx

My FPGA compiles and I cannot understand why. There is nothing crazy in my FPGA VI of really, it seems strange to have this type of problem. I can't reach the code because its owner, but it's pretty simple because it reads all channels from a single module and records them in a data FIFO. I have compiled successfully any FPGA code on this computer, so I should definitely have everything needed to compile.

I have problems with my application using ripple of packaging. It continues to produce [Oh Snap! [Build request failed with the message: invalid application [ERROR] (Archives) - name of the resource are not valid (img/[email protected])] error.

I'm guessing a reoccurrence of an old bug as tneil well said in this post , so I used the latest version of the SDK (BlackBerry WebWorks SDK 2.2.0.15), but the error persists.

Please note that I used Ripple many times before with the "-" on the names of file deleted on my mind, which is probably the reason why I've not encountered this earlier but it's just that I'm importing pre-made images with strict naming conventions (with a "-") so I can't go and rename them.

I installed the Mobile Emulator 0.9.1 ripple with SDK for Tablet 2.2.0.5 WebWorks, following the instructions exacly on a Windows 7 64-bit machine.

If I try to package virtually any application (HelloWorld, weather, examples, something more complex, whatever), I get the following error:

I tried a lot of things. I'm guessing that it's a mistake with the SDK, since I can enter any path to any folder that exists on my HD as the path to the SDK and I get the same error.

Path SDK: SDK for Tablet 2.2.0.5 WebWorks c:\RIM\BlackBerry

    The project root: c:\Users\Username\RippleSites\AppName
