Journal of faxes on hp6500 e709n

I try to print only the sent fax log and increase the number of transactions at more than 30.  Calls currently all receipts going to the fax has hit the journal.  Help

I'm afraid there is no way to do what you are wanting to do.  The fax only connect stores last 30 sent and received faxes.  He maintains the total number sent, but you can get the log for the last 30.  I'm sorry.

I have not iPrint 3.0 is installed. You say that I must add the HP software for my iPad to print? I don't want to print pictures, but emails, web pages, etc., using the facility that Apple has provided.

I have the iPad connected wireless to the same network.

How can I find out the IP address of the webserver 6500?

I am running via an Apple Airport Extreme.

There are at least two main methods of printing from the iPhone or the iPad.  The iPrint page indicates that "HP iPrint Photo 3.0 is a downloadable mobile application for free which allows you to capture and edit photos and print wireless from photos, PDF and text directly files from your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch inkjet HP printers connected to a local wireless (WiFi) network."  This is not your needs if you want to print arbitrary web pages.

The other method is AirPrint.  AirPrint requires an AirPrint-compatible printer and the following: AirPrint is only compatible with HP ePrint released in 2010 products. AirPrint is not backward compatible with older products, and there is no work around to allow backwards compatibility with older HP products.

The Officejet e709n isn't an ePrint or AirPrint compatible printer, model e710n later is compatible.   The above page indicates that there is no work around for the use of non-ePrint e709n with AirPrint printer.

  • 10.6 MacBook not able to print / scan to HP6500 (E709n)

When I arrived to this printer, I have had problems it is print / scan (see thread - http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Mac-Printing-and-Scanning/HP-wireless-6500-not-printing-scanning-to-Mac... and now I went from routers and its doesn't work yet.)

It's really frustrating. I went back on the old thread and have not been able to get it to connect again. I did all the steps and will gladly make again if needed.

A second problem that I had before moving on routers and I expect once I get to this topic is that the printer must be rolled for the Mac power print. Any PC wake you to print but the Mac will not.

So... the biggest problem is the Mac at least print again. I have already reset the printing system and installed the latest drivers without success.

Well dang it! Which was not may not be the total solution, but I don't know that it did not hurt. I hope that this solves the problem of 'waking up' at least.

The printer never came in 'Add '. So I tried to ping from a terminal window. That did not work. I stumbled upon a post where someone had to check the most convenient airport for a different reason and I checked it.

The new router has networks of comments. The MacBook has Copy to that so the printers were not available with the network. I have re-done the network connection and the printer has popped up in the printer selection screen. I add, printed and scanned.

    Thank you PD!

  • M1536dnf MFP: View M1536dnf fax journal issue

    Dear Sir.

I install my M1536dnf as a network printer, I would like to see my journal to fax any of my workstation to a network, what setting I need to do?

    Hi @wonghi,

    Thanks for the reply.

The best way to access the fax log information is through the HP ToolboxFX. Please consider using a supported operating system for this utility. Otherwise, you can print the printer fax log.

    Printing fax logs:

    1. On the Control Panel, press Fax Menu button.
    2. Use the arrows to select the menu reports Fax and then press the OK button.
    3. Use the arrows to select the option all reports of fax and then press the OK button. The product leaves the settings menu and print the reports.

  • HP 6310 - information header and Fax report

We have all in a 6310. We seek to do two things.

    (1) we need to change the header information. How can we do this?

    (2) we get an impression of faxes that have been sent. I would like to have the number of were a fax has been sent.

    Thank you.

    Hello cronus68,

To set the press header of Fax Setup on the control panel of the printer, scroll to number 4 (base configuration of the fax machine) and press OK, the first option should be Fax header so just press OK again.

To print the report again press Setup, go to number 2 (print report) and press OK, go to number 6 (Journal of faxes) and press OK to get the journal by fax to print.
