We rebooted the modem and the router as well, and the XBox 360 do not always connect. • Windows Media Center extender on my XBOX works initially, but not after reboot of my XBOX. Error: Failed to connect to the Xbox 360 could not connect to the windows Media Center computer.

  It's VERY odd and very annoying!

  I set up my laptop next to my Xbox 360 with an Ethernet cable directly connecting the laptop to the XBOX, and the laptop is on our wireless network. The XBOX has access to the internet (shared through the laptop), and when I test the PC connection and the connection XBOX Live sound fine to all.

  So I'll try to set up Windows Media Center, it works great! I "Add Extender", put the code to 8 digits. It passes through the installation, all works, no problems and WMC opens on the XBOX, I can go into my library, watch movies etc... works great!

  However! As soon as I turn my XBOX off and back on, it will fail to connect to the WMC.

  He says his 'find Windows Media Center PC' which seems to work fine, it goes to the ' Windows Media Center loading screen "contact...". ", and after about 10 seconds, I get an error"failed to connect the Xbox 360 could not connect to windows Media Center PC. I go to the video and have no problem, I look on the surface through the app. The problem is that when I try to connect to the Xbox 360 and "play to" the Xbox so I can watch it on a bigger screen. Apparently you are supposed to be able to slide up from the bottom of the screen and as well as options such as the back, next, play, stop etc. There should be a button that says play for, but unfortunately this button does not exist on my tablet. • Receiver wireless XBOX 360 will not connect to the controller with Windows XP 32-bit

  I bought the receiver the other day and tried it on my computer. I installed the stuff that came on the disc, no problem. I plugged the receiver and tried to turn on the controller and it simply not picking up the controllers. I tried on all 3 of the controllers that I own, but nothing helped. I looked the problem on google and all say to install the new drivers on the "unknown device", but that doesn't seem to be the issue.   My computer doesn't pick up the 'Xbox 360 wireless receiver for Windows' device no problem. But when I try to sync the receiver with the controllers I get nothing.  He also says that I have driver 2.1.0.1349 if that helps

  Hello. I've been using a controller wired xbox 360 on my laptop with windows vista 32 bit 2 days ago. It worked fine, but then I was playing and all of a sudden it disconnected and my computer no longer recognizes. Sometimes it works after that I restarted my computer, sometimes it won't. I tried many things, as the driver download, remove it and install again in compatibility mode with Windows Service Pack 2, update driver chipset MB, etc. The strangest thing is that when I open the Device Manager, it is supposed to display something called Microsoft Common Controller or Xbox 360 controller, but it is not. It also does not appear when I run joy.cpl. The controller works, so it is not defective. I think it has something to do with the pilot. I'll appreciate any help I can get.
