JPlayer works not once I disabled some plugins

I was doing a little cleaning to try to reduce the amount of memory that uses FF and disable plugins that I don't use. Unfortunately, I did not set up a screenshot of the "before" plugins, just ' after' disabled ones. (some were already turned off before and after). screenshot to: http://imgur.com/cDwxVmm

In any case, I sometimes listen to www.michaelgraham.com/radio and now I am not able to. The play button just shows a little "javascript:" text box in the lower left corner that does nothing. The source code shows that the site uses jplayer. I'm not too familiar with this, but I thought it might be time to update my version of Java. So I did. 7.0.7 to 7.0.45 (gulp!) but that did not help.

I tried all the plugins reactivation, but which did not help. Oddly, I now can't listen to this radio show in IE either. a demo to test jplayer page has worked well for me. Podcasts (.mp3) play very well.

I can't find a jplayer.swf on my computer. Not sure where it would be. I went to options/Applications and file types shown most Quicktime as the application, so I changed all those related to the sound to always ask, but that did not help. I see nothing in this list for MP3.

In any case, I think that the best thing to do now is to just restore my profile to an earlier era of backups. I read that the file localstore.rdf is may be damaged or also just an older sessionstore.js would be required.

Before you do more damage, any advice on the best way to restore my previous audio environment? Should I enter the entire profile folder and overwrite the local? Or are there parts just keys that are necessary?

No idea how these actions could have messed up audio on the PC itself (Windows 7-64) as IE can play that audio be? That's the scariest part of this mess.

Maybe it's just a Web site code error.

There are two different versions of Flash. ActiveX for IE version and the version of the Plugin for other browsers. Have you installed the correct version? This forum software is not thing that Flash is installed for Firefox or the Plugin is disabled.

    1. download the file of configuration Flash from here:

    Adobe Flash - Plugin version.

    Save it to your desktop.

    2. close Firefox using file > exit

Then check the Task Manager > processes tab to make sure that firefox.exe is closed.

    {XP: Ctrl + Alt + Delete, Vista: Shift + Ctrl + ESC process tab =}

    3. then run the Flash configuration from your desktop file.

    4. run Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

    • On Vista and Windows 7, you may need to run the installer of plugin as administrator by starting the installation program via the context menu if you do not get a UAC prompt for permission to continue (that is to say that nothing seems to be happening).

  • Video playback stopped working in Firefox until I DISABLED the plugin of primetime content decryption module

From one day to the next video (youtube, Vimeo, etc) stopped not working in Firefox. I checked my plugins/addons and discovered the plugin Adobe "primetime content decryption module" which I had not noticed previously had been installed. I've disabled the plugin and found that the video playback was still functional.

I realize the Primetime plugin is intended to facilitate playback of certain content (DRM), which would not otherwise play with Silverlight/Flash plugins, but unless that I turn it off it's actually prevents me from normal video content playback.

As this is a Firefox/Adobe plugin suggested I prefer it to work as expected rather than disable/remove it.

A quick update to my problem noted above (maybe I should try this first)

I ACTIVATED the plugin once more see if it would cause video playback yet, but everything seems to be ok now (IE, Primetime plugin is activated and all videos play normally)

Will report if the problem arises again

  • Some web features working not (buttons, drop-down menus, etc.)

I have recently reinstalled windows 7 on my machine, and since I had problems with firefox. I had the same exact configuration installation and firefox before reinstall as far as I can remember, and I've not had the problem then. I tried the current version and the beta version of firefox.

Basically, on some Web sites, there are some things that does not work as it should. Some buttons does nothing, some drop-down menu nothing done, image resizing works not etc.. Maybe it has something to do with javascript? Although most of the javascripts appears.

Here's an example: on this site: http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/
'Reset' and 'Calculate' blue buttons does not work. The effect of the passage of the mouse works, but when I click on them, absolutely nothing happens.

Rather a general answer I'm afraid, because I don't see an obvious problem & solution:

    1. Note for any problems with the sites that it is always worth to erase cookies from this site and to cache How to clear Firefox cache &delete cookies to remove the information from Web sites is stored on your computer
    2. Try in safe mode (see questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode) that is accessible from your Firefox Button. (but at this stage try not yet reset)
    3. If the above does not help then try the Firefox reset, but be aware, you will lose the open tabs, extensions and preferences, you may need to favorite things first if you can find them still see Firefox Refresh - reset the settings and Add-ons
  • WMP12 has not been closed properly. How do you prevent disabling my plugins?

I found this description of the error:

    C00D0FD6: Damaged or incompatible plug-ins
Windows Media Player has not been closed properly. A damaged or incompatible plug-in could have caused the problem to occur. As a precaution, the optional plug-ins have been disabled.

The question: is it possible to disable this feature or on the occasion of some plugins like not optional ?

I found a way by program. Before you start WMP, make sure all the registry keys under HKCU\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Health are deleted. That will tell the WMP on the next boot he was properly arrested even if it wasn't.

  • Some keys on the keyboard does work not after the suspect virus on Tecra

Apostrophe, delete, semicolon and the end of the keys no longer work after a suspected virus attack. I found the same problem on the net record but apparently this guy fixes his problem after stop scroll or NumLock on found him.

This isn't the case here, but it's something with numlock - registry Watch 2 and not 0. switch to 0 but when reboot 2 times.
Suspect has changed through the bios. I thought that I couldn't get to the bios because DEL key does not but found ESC works.
Tried to reset the values default to the bios but then can't save and exit it in accordance with the EndKey to work.

I was running XP at the time of the (alleged) attack and could not correct the problem so to put the computer OEM as I hoped would help - there no, same problem, so instead of installing all the software on the computer with XP I upgraded to Windows7 - charge install.

Keys still don't work - it was a real pain first as my computer was created for ctl + alt + delete to log on and I had to do with the keyboard of the screen - XP - it showed also that numlock performed before and after windows starts.

The reason why I suspect a virus - my wife was watching an of its tv shows on the line of the country of origin (an another toshiba laptop) and I needed to use this laptop for something else, so I asked to use mine - then we turned off laptops and the morning turned tham back on again once , the other laptop with virus protection AVG reported several hits and this one with Norton (FAMOUS and completely up-to-date) flagged nothing - once I got the screen keyboard.

Problems with this computer were found after scanning with different antivirus.
Anyway - I find myself with 4 keys that don't work not on my keyboard (in fact they work after I have connected to the computer for the first time, but I had to hold them in place for a long time - and then the next time I rebooted, not at all and did not since)

Here, any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm working on this all weekend with no joy at all.

    Thanks in advance.

Having a virus attack, the Windows files will be destroyed. Try the scan with kaspersky on Nod 32. If not help, reinstall os because it is the best solution in your case.

  • Since the update with OS 10.11.6, flash not working not properly

Just got a new Mac Book Pro, new on mac in general. Had a video to play on a Web site but didn't work not, downloaded Chrome, worked well. Then made the update to OS 10.11.6 (not), and the video does not work (it says: cannot load the Flash plug-in). Made sure plugin has been enabled in my Chrome. Tried to download Flash himself, tried to remove Chrome and Flash and download Chrome still once, nothing works. Now for some reason, it works... What is (and was) happening... Someone has an idea? THX!

    -Chrome has built in Flash.

-Safari does not come with Flash and use Flash with Safari, you need to download and install Flash

So this is why worked chrome and Safari worked after downloading and installing Flash. Make sure you just threw always get Flash from the Adobe website.  Once you install Flash from Adobe it has also installed a Flash preferences panel in system preferences and yo can update Flash from here

  • Some plugins required by this page have been blocked for your protection.

I get this error after you install a lower version of Firefox in addition to the current version of Firefox. I have since then removed the old version of firefox and reinstalled the current. There's no matter what I do. YouTube keeps warning me that I have to update flash player (even if most of the videos work there).

    Here are some facts:

My flash player is up to date, has been removed and reinstalled.
Shockwave has been removed and reinstalled.
Old version of Firefox has been removed.
Current Firefox has been reinstalled and is up to date.
I get "some plugins required by this page have been blocked for your protection." on each page with flash player on.
Pages do not display flash objects, nor is there anything to place them - they're invisible, empty space.
Flash drive works fine in IE, no error messages.
When I check for updates of the addon, no addon is listed as obsolete.
    These are my addons: http://i.imgur.com/HJEaGmz.png

Why I always get this message? How can I fix it?

    Thanks in advance

Hey, I checked the help > troubleshooting information once again and saw that there is a "Reset Firefox" button... ». I used that and it seems to have solved the problem!

  • Could not load the add-on Firefox 6 Manager. Does not have any modules or plugins. Stuck on 'Loading '.

I am currently getting some "funky" my Firefox responses, so I wanted to check my addons to see if one of them was the cause.
But I can't get the Add-ons Manager to load, it gets stuck on the page 'Start' - displays just the circle and "Loading" animation next to him.
Have you tried to restart FF, restart the PC, start without addons.
Because I do not run many addons or plugins, this isn't a major case-, but if someone could help me I would be grateful.

When you open the tab of the Add-ons Manager, click anything other than to get modules.

This item charge information on the site of modules, which I think is running slow, probably because of all the Tuesday update update related applications, both Firefox 6 and Firefox 3.6.20. Now seems to be much worse than what I saw with 4.0 and 5.0, so it is perhaps not as simple as that. But whatever the cause, once you get off that get tab Addons, the AOM window should then open with what you have selected in the future - at least that's how it works for me.

  • Flash player not working not properly on firefox for windows 10 installation

I recently installed 10 windows on my PC and just discovered that I can't watch anything on firefox with the flash player plugin, it does not crash but instead of a video, the screen is just green but it is solid, and when he tries with other browsers, it works fine. I have attached an image in order to highlight this...

The green screen is an old problem with the Flash plugin. To work around the problem, you can disable the plugin to use hardware acceleration:

On a site with Flash, right-click the media and select settings, then the first mini tab and uncheck the box to use hardware acceleration.

To locate and remove the old version, you can type or paste topic: plugins in the address bar, and then use search (Ctrl + f) to search for NPSWF and find the physical location of the old file of the DLL.
