JRockit boots into windows in a splash and dies

JRockit Version 4.1

Windows 7 Eneterprise

I used normally for a click all programs > JRcokit Mission Control 4.1 and it used to work smoothly without any problems. All of a sudden, it started to drop.

I tried Google and someone suggested to call as below

C:\Users\aagashe > "C:\Program Files\Java\jrockit-jdk1.6.0_37-R28.2.5-4.1.0\bin\jr".

MC.exe"- consoleLog 2 > & 1 | more

I get the error message like the one below.

Any idea what goes wrong?

It looks like your user settings might cause problems for some reason any. Try to rename your file from c:\users\aagashe\.jrmc to old.jrmc (or something else if you want), then start JRMC and see if it works better.

    anesvet,
I'm going to sound like I'm repeating myself tonight... (see previous 4 posts...)  but try this:

When you start start pressing F8 until you get the Windows startup options.  Then try "Last known good configuration" see if that helps.  If this does not work, try to F * then try to go to Safe Mode.  If those who do not help, I would start with your XP CD to recovery mode and run "chkdsk/r" then "sfc/scannow".  QQ learn manage!

    Hello
I hope someone can help me. I am unable to boot into windows vista 32-bit, so I downloaded the vista recovery disk and get an oxo error code what it means (thanks in advance)?

You don't give any info on what was the original problem with the computer.

You have set the Bios Setup to boot from the CD/DVD drive?

At startup, it will say press F2 or delete key to go into Bios/Setup, or maybe F12 to go to the Start Menu.

And have you tried also to tap F8 at startup and choose Safe Mode from the list of Boot Options?

Use up arrow key to do this, press on enter.

Browse your Hard Drive manufacturer's website, download software from here and test your hard drive for errors.

    An urgent need to help!

I've been running Windows 10 on my iMac via Boot Camp. I just upgraded to El Capitan 10.11 to 10.11.5. I don't know if it was because of this upgrade that made me not be able to return to Windows. In the windows startup disk, my windows HD and OS X HD icons are all grayed out. So, I can't select which one to be my default startup Mode of the disc. Help, please!

It is the instance of Vista installation.

Come on first, site of the manufacturer of your computer, check to see if your model computer has XP drivers available for it...

If the XP drivers are not available for your model, forget the idea.

  • I can't boot into windows 7 or 10 on my Dell XPS 630i

  • System does not boot into Windows when a USB is installed

It's strange.  I just installed Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade (64-bit) of a previous Vista machine.  Has made the choice of 'Upgrade '.  Now that it is finally installed and get some of the bugs resolved, a question I still have is when a (key, post HD) USB device is installed in the machine and I run a reboot or extinguished/turned on, the system starts to boot, runs through the BIOS section, but just before trying to start Windows I get a fast blinking cursor in the upper left of my screen.  If I remove all the devices usb between PC and manually must shut down and restart it restarts in Windows very well.  What is the problem?

Desktop HP M9350F model; 64-bit; BIOS Rev 5,29 (28/04/09); BIOS Boot Priority: floppy, CD, HD, network (note: there is no other choice shown/available USB?)

Maybe someone else has had this problem and an easy fix is avaiable.  Thank you!

    CD,

Well believe it or not, I realized the problem.  Not the BIOS.

One program, I have installed is SecureDoc WinMagic.  It's encryption software, although my drive has (yet) been encrypted.  In fact I had contacted the Lim before this same thread started to think it might be because of that, but he told me it was probably my BIOS and nothing to do with their SW.

However, last night I decided to remove their SW before my "repair" operation was scheduled.  How to have this removed SW, it's just our curiosity, I decided to start once more with a USB device installed to see if the hang up has continued.   By my surprise, the start went as usual by means of windows and office.  DAMN!  all this time lost, mine and yours!

I contacted the company SW this morning and they found a way to modify their SW and get the boot to work (always with the unencrypted disc).

I wanted you and someone on this thread to know the outcome, so if this happens in the future with another user, this can help to avoid long-term on unnecessary troubleshooting.

Thank you once again for all the time you have helped me with this issue!

  • ASUS motherboard fails to boot into windows

I have an ASUS Z97 - A motherboard that I am trying to load a Windows XP PRO OS I have used successfully on several other computers. The software seems to load, but stop at "Windows Setup" and "the Setup is starting Windows" and freezes there.

ASUS claims that it is a Microsoft problem and that I should contact them. I'm still waiting for a response.

    Can someone help me?

What you can try (see the user's guide) is to disable UEFI and use legacy / IDE mode.

  • I am trying to load a MPEG file into windows Movie Maker 2013 and load only the audio part. What can be done to fix this

I have MPEG files that I'm editing and when I load in Movie Maker only the audio part load. During loading, I get the following message at the bottom of the screen for the audio to load but when that ends more nother is responsible and the screens indicate only the audio track.

Hello friend. I know that windows movie maker supports wmv video well, you can convert your videos to wmv mpeg video for a trial, it should work. If you don't know how to convert a video, this video converter will help you a lot.

  • I can't boot into windows or recovery.

OK, so that is the problem.  I'm in recovery mode by pressing f11 and me to the point where he says he was doing market back stuff. I've been through reformatting, but while he was 97% ready I got this blue screen "page_fault_in_nonpaged_area" error and windows have closed. as I tried with recovery again it fails again with a uscreen "bad_pool_caller". Now I never did recovery disks for my laptop because I've always used the recovery partition so I have the vista cd or anything like that.  However, I would like to make a cd of xp home edition.  So I started from that and thought I could just install the xp home edition.  Unforunetly after it loads up to install it says it can't find my hard drive and shows no partitions.  I am at a loss on what to do.  I searched everywhere for a solution to this, but I don't know what to do.  Everyone responds just telling me to reformat or enter in safe mode when I can not because they do not completely load upward and I get this error and my computer crashes.  If someone could help me I would be very grateful.

For questions about the recovery process, contact the manufacturer of your computer.

This isn't their recovery process, Microsoft.

  • What kind of cd/dvd is the best for my video Windows Movie Maker filled and how can I burn it?

OK... I've published my Movie Maker presentation.  It will be presented via a laptop computer and projected.  First of all, what kind of cd/dvd I need?  I know that this information is listed under the HELP section of the Movie Maker program, but what do you propose to help?  AND THEN... How can I do to burn video on cd?  I got to the question re: given dvd vs dvd-video and was confused (sorry... it doesn't take much!).  In my mind, it's a video, but the explanation stated that in this format must then be read via a dvd player.  Finally it can be read that way and it would be nice to have this option, but my goal is now to have played through a computer laptop and projected.  I tried to save it as a video dvd last night, but after almost two hours of "transformation" (my video completed is approximately 3-1/2 minutes), I eventually escape and stop.  Can you guide me through this in simple terms?  Thank you!

DVD-R Virgin should work for you, and you can
burn the video DVD in Windows DVD Maker.

  • Windows asks me a password and I never put a. I also try to boot into safe MODE and administrator request a password as well. How can I work around this connect? __

    can not connect to windows

If you have forgotten your password, if you have another user who has administrative privileges account you can log in to that account and change the password of your account of origin of the user accounts applet in Control Panel. If you do not have another account like this set upwards or that you do not have the password which you will need to log on to the built-in Administrator account. In XP Home, start the computer in Mode safe. This, by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. This will put you in the right menu. Navigate using your arrow up; the mouse does not work here. Once in safe mode, you will see the normally hidden administrator account. The default password is white.

In XP Pro, you don't need to go to Safe Mode. In the home screen, do Ctrl-Alt-Del twice to get the classic Windows logon box. Type in "Administrator" and the password that you assigned when you set up Windows.

If you reset the password of the account administrator integrated into house or have Pro and don't remember the password, use NTpasswd to change the password of the built-in to a white administrator account. Download the bootable CD .iso image file, burn with third-party burning software such as free ImgBurn , Nero or Roxio. Burn as an image, not in the form of data. Start with the media that you have created. You need to maybe change the boot order in the BIOS or obtain a menu of boot command temporary with the pressure of a special key. NTpasswd will run. Follow the instructions carefully.

    http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/
Then, go to the user accounts applet in Control Panel and set passwords that you remember and other changes. WRITE THE PASSWORDS DOWN AND PUT THEM SOMEWHERE YOU WON'T LOSE THEM.

  • When I started my computer this morning, it ran chkdsk at startup, windows startup it goes immediately to chkdsk, it will be repeated again and again. I can boot into safe mode, but if I try to start windows normally it runs chkdsk and does not start

Windows does not start normally, just run chkdsk again and again

First test the hard drive to make sure it's healthy. Test the hard drive with a diagnostic utility downloaded from site of the disc mftr. or use SeaTools for BACK of Seagate. You create a bootable CD with the files you download. You will need a third party burning software to do as the free ImgBurn, Nero or Roxio. Burn as an image, not in the form of data.

    http://www.ImgBurn.com

    http://www.Seagate.com/www/en-us/support/downloads/SeaTools/seatooldreg
    http://Seagate.custkb.com/Seagate/CRM/selfservice/search.jsp?docid=201271 (how-to)

Boot with the CD that you have done and do a full test of the reader. The physical tests fail, replace it.

If the hard drive then passes the physical tests, safe mode:
Start > run > cmd [Enter]
fsutil dirty query c: (or the appropriate drive letter) [Enter]

This will tell you if the disc is dirty or not. Then always in cmd:

chkntfs /x c: (or the appropriate drive letter) [Enter]

This tells Windows not not to check this drive at startup. Reboot and it should go on the desktop. Once Windows loaded, run cmd and:

Chkdsk /f /r c: (or the appropriate drive letter) [Enter]

CHKDSK will run through all 5 steps. After that it's over, always in cmd:

fsutil dirty query c: (or the appropriate drive letter) [Enter]

to see that the dirty bit is not set on this drive.
