JRun 3.1 and jdk 1.5

I ran a production environment since 2000 and have stagnated in 1.4.2 for several years now.

I don't want to upgrade JRun 4 because I am very happy with 3.1, but now, I want to start using the features of programming of java 1.5.

I tried to just the jdk, as I do when goin up gradually 1.4.1, 1.4.2 etc... but the 1.4 wasn't so easily.

Before I try more someone can tell me if it's possible?

Thanks for your help.

I will swithch to another product when I have to; in fact, I already chose BEA for this...

but I have everything works now - all you have to do is jikesw in the $jrun to replace/bin folder with the following script:

/ usr/java/devJava/bin/javac - Xlint: unchecked $*.

    Hi Ken,

Thanks for your help. I managed to close the coldfusion server running java applications. After that, I was able to download and install Dreamweaver CC but then I discovered that it doesn't support ColdFusion, so I downloaded a trial version of ColdFusion builder and he tries. At the present time, I have a problem importing Dreamweaver 8 sites in ColdFusion Builder.

  • SQLDeveloper and JDK 1.7

I've been running Developer SQL with JDK 1.7 for a few weeks with good results. Memory usage stays below 500 MB, even when it has been open for a few days, and in general things feel relatively fast and responsive. The only problem I've seen so far is that the window of connections is never visible when I open it. I have to click on view-> connections whenever I load SQL Developer.
So I was just wondering if the team has a timeline when they expect to officially support running on Java 1.7 SQL Developer.

Not yet. As our base is JDeveloper, we build/run with versions that we consume. For now, we have done no testing on 1.7.

Which JDK version? I think it was JDK 6 - update 13

I know that there is a problem which, in a version of the JDK, Sun has added a new CA to one the cacerts file which has an algorithm that is not supported.

    http://Java.Sun.com/javase/6/WebNotes/6u13.html

    Root certificates that are included

Root certificates are included in this version. The following root certificates have been added:

    * Two additional certificates of root CA from T-systems (see 6803022).
    * Two Unizeto root certificates (see 6803036).

If I'm right, then the offending certificates are

    ttelesecglobalrootclass2ca and ttelesecglobalrootclass3ca

You can remove them by using the keytool utility:

    keytool - delete - keystore $JAVA_HOME\jre\lib\security\cacerts-alias ttelesecglobalrootclass2ca - changeit keystorepass
    keytool - delete - keystore $JAVA_HOME\jre\lib\security\cacerts-alias ttelesecglobalrootclass3ca - changeit keystorepass

  • jde5 and JDK

    Hi all

New to the blackberry software used netbeans for developing applications. My question is:

I downloaded the jde5 but do not download the jdk with her as he says he missed. I already have the latest version of the jdk (6) on my machine. Courses the blackberry software doesn't seem to be able to find it.

Is far from adding the pathnames in the jdk exist in blackberry jde?

On a slightly different note if we use java classes standard should not the terminal BlackBerry can work ok or differs for BlackBerry application descriptor?

Thank you all fixed now it was the part of path that was missing to get the path to the jdk/bin folder. so all the samples now compile. !

  • Servlet no longer works

I am currently building a box of Windows Server 2003 running JRun 4.0 and JDK 1.3.0_02. The reason for the old JDK, is trying to make it available to the legacy applications correctly function on the new server.

After doing some research, I feel that the servlet is refers to a parameter in the servlet package O'Reilly. There was a file from archive (cos.jar) located in the original class directory when I was with JRun 3.1... Eventually, I put the .jar file in the wrong directory in 4.0? I have searched for any sort of documentation for the package of oreilly, but can't seem to find, online or otherwise. Clues on how to fix this or find some kind of documentation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Problem solved. Created a WEB-INF\lib directory and placed the file cos.jar in it.

  • SSL problem when running Apache httpclient Jrun and not standalone Java

We use the Apache httpclient 4.1.2 to post on an external server, using SSL. The position works well when it runs since Java JRE, but when the code is running in a JRUN/Colfusion instance that uses the same Java JRE, the error message returned is:

    javax.net.ssl.SSLPeerUnverifiedException: peer not authenticated

    at org.apache.http.conn.ssl.AbstractVerifier.verify(AbstractVerifier.java:128)

When you debug the connect using the -Djavax .net .debug = all , the illustrated internal error message is:

    java.lang.RuntimeException: could not generate secret

Is there some settings strange ColdFUsion, to undo to do this job? We installed the cert of the other server in the/rje/lib/sercurity/cacerts file, but has not made a difference. Why the work of independent java and not Jrun?

    The JDK version is 1.6.0_24 - b07

    ColdFusion: 9,0,1,274733

OK, the solution was simple, to disable jsafe the right way by adding the property of java command line:

    -Dcoldfusion.disablejsafe = true

Hope that jsafe is not used for something vital...

Sorry for don't get back to you sooner, but I tried on one of these days there was only a problem with the site and never returned. In any case, I found something that might help. There is an argument, you can pass the installation. It is LAX_VM. See point http://www.adobe.com/support/documentation/en/flex/1_5/releasenotes.html103870.

Basically, you're going to replace the CF Installer for the installation of Flex program mentioned in the article and the location of the VM with your 1.4.2 location.

  • Install the ADF 12.1.3.0 essential WegLogic 11 g and Oracle Linux 5

    People,

Hello. I install ADF essential 12.1.3.0 with WegLogic 11 g with Oracle Linux 5 operating system.

The WebLogic 11 g and JDK 1.7 have been installed in my machine and work properly for a long time.

    I downloaded Oracle ADF critical 12.1.3.0 on http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/ADF/downloads/index.html .

The tutorial http://orafapp.blogspot.com/2014/07/install-and-configure-ADF-development.html installs ADF with WebLogic 12 c and 3 parts as below:

Part i: install ADF and set the field of the logic of the Web.

Part II: creating the RCU for ADF.

Part III: Configure the WebLogic domain.

    There are 3 files in the package: adf - essentials.zip, adf-essentials-customer - ear.zip and adf-essentials-client - war.zip

I unzip the file "adf - essentials.zip" and run the file .jar as below:

    java $-jar oracle.xdb_12.1.0.jar

Error message: cannot load oracle.xdb_12.1.0.jar Main-class manifest attributes

    My questions are:

First of all, I have to follow the 3 parties above to install ADF 12.1.3 essential for WebLogic 11 g with Oracle Linux 5?

Second, how to solve the error message above? People allow a tutorial for me to install?

    Thirdly, what are the client 2 client-essentials-adf - ear.zip and adf-essentials-customer files - war.zip do?

    Thanks in advance.

First you read for example http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E28280_01/doc.1111/e14860/products.htm#FMWLC109

to find out what license you need, then you buy a license. Discover what you need is the hardest part

As I said, you must call an OrOracl sales representative or an Oracle partner who can help you.

    Thank you..

You cannot and should not attempt to use a any forms on Windows 8.1 or newer version at this time.  Yes, this is not supported, but in addition there are known problems with the help of more recent than 7 versions of Windows.  Win8.1 certification testing is underway.  Once completed and final approval, the matrix certification forms/reports will be updated with details.  These details likely will include information on the patches required and/or configurations.  Monitor the forms/States 11.1.2.2 Certification Matrix for the latest information.

    http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/es/middleware/docs/Oracle-Forms-111220certmatrix-2087910.xls

For those of you new to Oracle Forms, welcome, I encourage you to carefully review the spreadsheet above, as well as the product documentation before beginning any installation.  Not following the instructions and the conditions will result in installation attempts failed.  The documentation for 11 GR 2 Forms-State Library can be found here:
