• Cannot perform action locks file is opened in Microsoft Office Excel

  I am trying to remove an addin in the add-in file and I get an error message that the file is open in Excel.    There is no open excel file.    The add-in does not work when there is an open excel file.   I suspect that there is a problem with the add-in because there is a copy of the file with a ~ in front of the name.  I would remove both copies and replace the add-in with a new copy, but I get an error message "Could not perform the action locks file is opened in Microsoft Office Excel".

• avoid to perform actions that are in the presentation at the beginning of the workflow layer

  Is it possible to perform NO actions, that are defined on the presentation layer, at the start of a workflow?

  On our supply workflow contains a step where we select the cluster to build the virtual machine. Once all the other objects required has been selected will be calculated automatically.

  This means that in the next drop you now get a list of all the hosts that are members of the selected group. We do the same thing with the networking and all data warehouses that we use for a virtual machine.

  All actions are mainly related to the 'list of preset of elements', "Data Binding" and "Default"

  The problem is that when I start the workflow I have, of course, a lot of error messages in the log file because I did not choose a cluster at this stage. Also it takes a while until the presentation layer will be shown.

  Can I do to avoid actions that are related to the presentation of the workflow? And make them run when I chose a cluster object?

  The best practice is that the first line of your action must be one if (cluster == null) return null;

  This will speed up the presentation a lot.

  Another more complex way is to use a disclosure ognl expression, but they are difficult to maintain and may not give any gain on the action and returns null.

• Hotkeys disabled still perform actions

  I'm trying to remove the hotkeys (keyboard shortcuts > tools) to increase/decrease the brush size/toughness and Previous brush. Even if I deleted those shortcuts, these keys will still accomplish their respective actions. Even after by assigning them explicitly to other keys, hooks, the comma and period keys always perform these operations of default brush that I try to avoid. Everyone knows this unwanted behavior, and is there a way to solve it?

  I use Photoshop CS5 64 bit on WIndows 7.

  I know it sounds strange, but we can not really change or remove these shortcuts, just add some new, but still the new shortcuts make former invalid shortcuts.

  In other words, those that you add will appear in the list of keyboard shortcuts and work, but the old ones will work always as well, because they are probably built into the photoshop application code.

  In any case, if this is a bug, it is always even works in photoshop cc 2014.

  There is no activity at the level of the document when a status change RMA, but the script embedded in a 3D scene is running during loading; so you can put your code 'activation' in there. Remember though, within the 3D script, you must use 'host' instead of 'this' to refer to the doc object.

  You cannot assign what whether to 'disable' because it does not have an event.

• A process to save drive H F-Player performs actions writing on C drive?

  Windows 8.1 runs on my SSD - c drive.

  Every day, I create a backup of my drive f (data) to my h drive (backup) and my i-drive (backup of backup).

  • This cause of action will write actions on my c drive? In other words, Windows copy the source disk c first and then copy on the target?
  • Or Windows will use memory (8 GB) to copy directly from the source to the target?

  Reason: I don't want to make too much writing on my SSD in the order of the actions too increase its service life.

  Use a differential backup process and to avoid copying the data which has not changed.  There are a number of commercial products that can do this function. I use Paragon, but there are others such as Acronis and Macrun Reflect.

  As I said on your other post, I wouldn't be worried life SSD.  You can search the new PC magazines and they will tell all about the same.

  I have an addition windows 7 home. Lately, my speech recognition acted real buggy, its achievements, where I can say a snd command it will show the word in the small window but don't do it, as the common control to say start or open IE, nothing. I have it set to always listen to what I say. , sometimes working some time, even when the value of sleep. Listen only to "Start listening" Theres even had moments where I would open and ready to use recognition and the dim blue mic button not responding or to turn on and off, .more there was not the little chime or something else that would sound.  I tried several ways to see where I messed up. Open WSR and navigate to the test and as mentioned got about 60% of the time mess up, it of a guess because would feel frustrated and abandoned. When work well follow orders, I do not understand why everything suddenly the command will not actiion more random, off.

  The problem with your original code is that an IN subquery is exactly that: a SUB- query.  It can be used as part of a larger SQL statement only, and not as an autonomous PL/SQL operation

  I am a new bie to OIM 11 g. I just finished a multi level approval and it works fine.
  
  Now my requirement is, based on the action (Create, update, delete) made by the user, that I send to different levels of approval.
  
  Ex: If it's createUser/UpdateUser then I need 3 levels of approvals. If it is delete the user I need only 2 levels of certification.
  In the emails of the notification if it's a createUser, that it should be mentioned as "Create" for update it should be "Update" in the same way to remove to remove.

  You can try this:
  -Create composites for approvals of level 2 and 3. Create policies separately approved for the creation/update and deletion and fix composite respective policy approval.

• Perform actions on read only text fields

  I work on an inventory for a renovation of the building to come and hope to make an "interactive stop' of sorts on the PDF of the floorplan showing the hardware inventory for the rooms.

  My goal is that each room on the floor plan to have an invisible field that covers (I am currently using text fields), so that when the user's mouse is in this room on the floor plan, a 'Mouse enter' action is executed to display a second text box VISIBLE read-only containing notes and inventory relevant in this specific room. Conversely, when the user's mouse leaves this place on the floor plan, a 'Mouse exit' action is executed to hide this second text box.

  I have this feature works for the most part, with the exception that the text fields that I use to describe the rooms are still visible in an opaque blue tint when the PDF file is displayed. I would have preferred them to be completely invisible and cannot be changed by users.

  If I change the property of form field to 'Hidden', or tick the box 'Read only' property, entry and exit mouse mouse actions will not run.

  Anyone have any suggestions on the best way to achieve this?

  Instead of a text field, use a button for mouse input/output actions. They can be parameters to have no visible border or background, so will be invisible.

  You could do a procedure customized to fire when a button is clicked. Within your procedure, you can update/delete/insert as desired.
