• HP PSC 2410 all-in-One - use in 64-bit environment of Windows 7

  Hello

  I've had this all-in-one HP PSC 2410 printer for a few years now and it has worked quite smoothly in an environment Windows XP Pro SP3 for the time.

  A few months ago, I bought a new computer system and went to the Windows 7 64-bit OS (not interersted in Windows 8 at all) and I installed the printer successfully and it works, the software suite provided with the printer on the CD will not install for this environment and so I have more access to the different Maintenance Options that were available in Windows XP Pro OS such as cleaning and fax options.

  Looking for something for Windows 7 64-bit operating system threw up two options - update driver and utilities Assistant tool.   After getting off the route to update the driver, no software suite was available, and in fact the update said that the driver has been installed by Windows 7 automatically.  This seems to be the case as the printer works very well in print mode, mode of scanning (in the desktop menu) and it detects SD cards in the slots.

  However, there is no software to allow me to fax or clean or do any of the other options available in the HP Suite provided on the CD.

  Down the utility road has downloaded me a file - HPPIW. EXE - look at my current installation of the printer and check with HP for updates.   After several attempts, the utility simply CANNOT find my printer even if it is installed, running and even windows sees!   No amount of recycling the POWER button or restarting the computer allows this utility to detect the printer at all.  It is installed via USB on PC family of 64-bit Windows 7 and windows updates current are always fully updated.

  I considering buying a new HP OfficeJet 8600 Pro Plus to use as printer family with Windows 7 system - and move this HP PSC 2410 upstairs to connect directly to my Office Windows XP Pro SP3 staff and use the original CD to install it.  My Canon IP4200 Pixma just die on my own PC, on the floor.

  However, until that I do this, are there any available software suite that could work in the environment of Windows 7 that would allow me to use the various functions such as fax and cleaning that were available under the old XP environment and gets through the CD?  As a result of software never updated for Windows 7?

  I can't wait to hear that you have questions.  While there isn't a utility software that will complete the desired tasks, maintenance can be completed from the front of the unit.  Windows also has a request for the fax from the computer so that may work with this device. See the information below which can activate the functions you want.

  If you work around options are not acceptable the 8600 model would certainly meet your needs in comparison with this camera.  However, I encourage you to contact HP to see what upgrade options are available for this device. It will probably be another Photosmart design unit, but in many cases, upgrades are available at a discount to our valuable clients guaranteed.  Global coordinates can be found here.

• Someone else has Apple Airplay jumping and drop outs when streaming music?  WiFi is not the problem, and there is nothing around the units of airtime to interference.  Impossible to listen to music.  Thanks for any advice.

  I've recently updated several broadcasts in my house from V1 to V2 in the hope of resolving a constant jumping and abandonment problem I always had when playing music with Airplay.  I have a unit of airtime plugged directly on my stereo receiver that feeds music throughout my house.  My WiFi connection is not the problem and there is nothing to cause interference.  Airplay modules are not more than 15 feet distance modem or range Extenders.  Someone else has this problem and, hopefully, a solution?   I'm tired of doing factory reset all the time.  Many thanks for any advice.

  By "Airplays" what are you actually refers to... Base station airPort Express, Apple TV, or something else?

  When steaming audio with AirPlay, the flow goes first to the device host to iTunes to the router Wi - Fi, this unit is connected to. From there, he will travel to the AirPlay "speaker".   If the link between the office and the data center is in place, then the machine of the unit will then send computers virtual to the Exchange Server, which would then put the virtual computer in box mailbox users.

  If the link does not work, it will store voicemails. Users will always be able to get new VM messages since they will be on their box of the local unit.

  Users will be able to listen to the old VM messages if they are configured to download e-mail on their local machine since at this time, it's just another email.

  I've been through the design guide and want to ensure that I understand that this is not a recommended solution? None of the offices have a local Exchange Server. The latency is going to be a deal breaker for a deployment of UNIFIED messaging?

  It would certainly not be a supported configuration. The unit must me on the same LAN as the server Exchange, MS, GC. Communication between Exchange and the unit is very sensitive to time and cannot tolerate delays or package loses all. Just me that you plan now flat will not work.

  So in this model, you will need to have the unit in the data center or choose a VM solution. With the servers in the data center, they would register in CM over the WAN, but you would need QoS are configured for voice traffic. But in the case where the Wan came down people would not be able to get to voicemail.

  The other option would be for you to have the CM and the unit in the data center and use SRST at remote sites:

  While you can set presence objects to "invisible". We still have space on the form. You must use 'hidden', freeing up space and form past will move objects up to fill the free space.

  Let's say you have a question with a Yes and no answer (using radio buttons) and a subform hidden "additionalQuestion". Then in the click event of the group radio button exclusion, the following will show the hidden Yes subform:

  I currently have four pieces of code (which could turn into 5, 6 or more pieces in the coming months), I want to run or jump selectively according to an array of Boolean.  I have a cluster typedef of numbers, which are each refers to a port VISA number connected to a particular instrument.  This will be expanded in the future as the software is necessary to control the instruments more.  There is an array of Boolean (coming from the vi) attached which has a value of TRUE for each instrument that was detected (and therefore is connected).  In the case below, I want to initialize each instrument that is connected, but not try to do something for those who are not.

  As someone who will need to expand in the future on this section of code, I want to write it in a way that will be infinitely extensible, without taking more space BD.  At the moment I find myself unable to do since I do not know how to pair the table of Boolean with the elements of the bunch, such that I can run or ignore the code accordingly.

  Since you mention that you want to expand, I'd be more inclined to set a dashboard containing the port number, the type of instrument and the status of the instrument. When you search for your instruments you want to iterate over the array. You can use an ini file to determine which instruments must be present in the system. Others may be optional, and their associated actions could be ignored if necessary. However, the main point I'm trying to do is to combine your status with your instrument information table. This way, you eliminate the possibility of a mistake trying to keep and table and a synchronized cluster. A table makes it also much easier add or remove instruments from your system.

  A few other notes, if you check in a stop condition then stop. Don't simply continue the execution of each iteration of the loop with a business structure that will jump execution if the stop consifition is encountered. Simply stop. Imagine if you had 1000 items in your instrument cluster/table. Using your method always run you your loop 1000 times, even if the shutdown occurred during the first iteration. Eliminate duplication of code and logic twisted to combat it. You have two places incentive th euser, if they want to start or stop. You must have a place to make this code. Much easier to understand and maintain. Don't expand your code easily either because the hard-coded error strings. Your case statement will become very large if you generate your static error strings. Use a loop and a format common you build your missing channel of the instrument. If you use the table on the groups of instruments, I suggested that you will be able to format the string using the type of instrument. I'd be much more inclined to use a single notification utility that will be supported as well cancel and stop messages. It changes a lot better when you have additional message types rather than use a notification for each type of message.

• In the design of the text alignment jumps around, even when the value "align top".

No matter what I set the alignment (align the top, in this case), it jumps around whenever I move the text box. For example, I try to move the box to the top, and the text inside it moves down. I move the box to the top, "centered" the text becomes. In fact, when he arrives at the margin, he's going above it all. The text inside the box is located just to the right of the margin, even though the box itself moves upward. The principal is also greater than it should be. • In design CS5 comes out jump text boxes

  I am running Mac OSX 10.5.8 on my MacBook.

  I am working on a menu with a number of text boxes.  When I check the spelling, it seems only to tick the box where the cursor is located.  I tried to make Cmd + A (to select all the boxes on a page) and it doesn't seem to help.

  I have dynamic spelling turned on, but there are words that I know do not check spelling who do not have the red lines under them.

  I have all the preferences checked and language: English: USA is in place.  Case-sensitive is also checked.

  Any ideas?  I'm nervous that I'll miss a spelling error which will undoubtedly submit to endless ribbing of colleagues.  However, by selecting the actual words in each individual text box will never take.

  You have the search options defined on the history, you would need to have this value for the entire text Document in the doc to be spell checked.

• The mouse jumping around corner on its own (TX2000 tablet PC)

  HP needs to fix or replace my HP TX2000. The mouse cursor keeps jumping to the bottom right of the screen on its own. I realized that there are a lot of heat generated in this corner of the basic reason keyboard, making it probably the mouse jump there. the mouse works perfectly when I rotate the screen of this corner, but lie, which makes it extremely difficult to work with the screen tilted in a different direction and the Del key BkSpace hiding behind the screen! Ofcuorse, this heat is the culprit and a strange design of unit fault!

  I had this same problem (although it seems a bit more sporadic than what others have experienced).

  The physical reason of the problem seems to be the corner of the base of the shelf RF interference; because the tablet takes the pen by measuring how much the emitted RF is altered by the pen, the interference near the corner must "look like" the pen being there.

  I have "confirmed" this by placing a piece of foil between the screen and the base (in the corner only); This removes the behavior of jumping.  Although I did not open my tablet, I suppose that the interference comes from the power of conditioning circuits for the processor?

  In regards to the Wacom HID "pen" disable the fix mentioned above: the feather still work like a pen (RF, with a fine location and pressure sensitivity), or it doesn't work like a 'finger' (capacitive touch sensor on screen, much coarser location resolution)?

• Precision, drawing in the LC designer tools?

  I have a large amount of imported forms of JetForm (DFI) format to be converted to PDF.

  One of the difficulties we face is that we cannot change the value of the interval between the grid lines (so far), so it is difficult to change the object with a milimetric precision.

  Another difficulty: in JetForm Designer we have on indication of display of the distance between, say, two lines, in milimeters (or what unit we are working with). We did not find this option in the LC Designer.

  And a third challenge: guidelines - although there are the fields X and Y of interval in the drawing AIDS dialog box, they do not change the grid interval, so the guidelines jump every 1 cm or so. Too heavy. Where can I display it?
