• Slide does not progress

  Using captivate 6, I've recently made changes to an existing project, and now I'm having a problem with the project does not move forward just before starting a quiz. The project works as advertised until the slide before the test. I have a button to move to the next slide, but he fails to move forward.   This type of problem is often linked to what you have defined for Quiz > settings > required field.  If it is not already set to optional, try this setting and see if that makes a difference.

• Return to the menu slide does not

  I have a slide that I use as a page of menu with links to seven different question slides.  This isn't a real test. This is only a demonstration of the different types of questions that are available.  Thus, on this slide menu I have seven clickboxes and the onSuccess for each clickbox jumps to a specific question slide.  On question slides themselves, I put the onSuccess and last attempt to return to the menu slide.  It does not work.  In each case, it contributes to the next slide in the question.

  So I added a slide to return at the end of the questions.  I changed the onSuccess and last attempt for each slide of the issue access to this slide back, which is empty. The onEnter and onExit for this slide (I didn't know which one to use) jumps to the menu slide.  That part works.

  But when the menu slide is displayed again, none of the buttons or clickboxes work there. When I click on them, nothing happens.

  Statement is not enabled for this project. The quiz is optional and the check box for each question answers report slide is deselected.

  I am using Captivate 5.0.0.596.

  If your questions are all subsequently showing incomplete in the area of review AFTER you have navigated to the slide of the menu, looks like you are breaking always somehow the scope of Quiz.  To check if this is the case, place a button on a slide BEFORE the menu slide and then try again the project.  If it now allows you to answer the questions that have been reported as incomplete previously then the question was in fact the scope of Quiz.  You need to stay inside so that Captivate be happy with all this jumping around.

• Jumping boxes click slide do not work

  As Rod, to the exclusion of the total note issues do not change the scope of quiz at all.

  One solution could be to extend the scope of quiz for almost the whole of the file by inserting an interactive object in the first slide.

  Another idea is to create not-to-be-scored questions yourself with standard objects.

• CP5.5 - quiz progress does not appear

  I have a project that was originally cp4, upconvertis to cp5.5 initially he had 48 questions in the quiz and I added two question slides.  The original 48 all had the progress indicator.  When the two new ones have been added, the legend of indicator of progress would not appear on these two blades.

  The two loops work very well for me in GarageBand 10.1.1. Skip on the upper right corner of the audio region to display the cursor of the loop, if it is not, save your project and the test in a different project.   Restart your Mac, if you don't have already done.

  

• Automatic update failed, and Windows does not start

  I am running Windows 7 and it does not start. Automatic update started as soon as my computer is awakened from his sleep. It closed several programs. • Captivate 6 Audio screen slide does not properly

  Trying to re-record audio for a slide today this screen open - I could save, but not save, because the record button does not appear.  I was able to record new audio files on the same Friday project.  I tried to delete and new audio recodring and the same screen came.  I tried another project - same thing happened.  I rebooted twice.  Any ideas?

  If you check the address bar of your screenshot, you'll see that you are in the folder "C:\Documents and Settings\ [user name] \Application Data\Adobe".

  Could be a possiblity that "Local Settings" folder is hidden, click on tools-> Folder Options, view tab, you have the option of "hid display files and folders.

  

  You can see the local settings folder when you click OK, then you can go to C:\Documents and Settings\ [user_name] \Local Adobe application and rename the folder "Captivate 6.0.

• Properties of the slide does not

  Hello

  Can someone please?  I'm in half way through my captivate project and for some reason that I can't add labels to new slides.  Also I don't have my list of slide masters to choose more.  They always appear next to the timeline, but I can't use the drop-down list in the properties box to assign a master to a new slide.  Also my further action for a button does not always work.  I'm confused.

  In my last post I pointing me toward causes possible for corruption, and it is widgets and text animators. Do you have advanced actions?

  If not, you will need to try the way to copy/paste into a new project: not all at once and still tried out if everything is functional after pasting slides.

• Time display default slide does not apply

  Hiya-

  A demo of the software automatically saved to 3s by slide deck, and I would like to change the default view to 5s by blade.  When I change that in Edition/Preferences/Global/Defaults, it does not apply throughout the project.  No idea why?

  What version, Kimberley?

  If it's CP5 or 5.5: it's in the properties, general Accordion Panel. You can select all the slides that must be changed and apply both to each other.

• Quiz slides appears not second time through

  Good afternoon

  In my current project, I used quizzing self-construction slides using clickboxes (thanks lilybari!) and used some quiz slides.   In this part, I'm not related data because it is only the section of the teaching.  To some fine SCORM, I record only seen slide.  I also created my own navigation buttons for front and rear.

  When I consult the section, the first time, I see the quiz and other slides correctly. For some reason any however, if they use the back button to once again, refer to the section the quiz slides appear again and get stuck or don't appear at all.  I would like for them to see all the slides if they're coming back as is the purpose of the "back" button functionality.

  I have attached a part of my project when this happens.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

• SIL_InsertRowInRuntable failed (ORA_R12_Flatfile connection does not work)

  I'm running an Oracle BI Apps 7.9.6 installation with vision R12 Oracle instance. DAC (v10.1.3.4.1) and Informatica (8.6 fix applied already) are configured correctly. I tried to do a test with just Oracle R12 Financial - debtors and it failed during the SIL_InsertRowInRuntable step failed. I have error in an output file and go back all the way to the SIL_InsertRowInRunTable server\infa_shared\SrcFiles\ORA_R12_Flatfile.DataWarehouse.SILOS.SIL_InsertRowInRunTable.txt. And in this file, it mentions the $$ FlatFileConnection = ORA_R12_Flatfile. In the physical data Source, the warehouse and the connection to the source Oracle R12 work very well, but the ORA_R12_Flatfile does not work. It says nothing about setting up connection flatfile in the doc of installation/configuration of BI apps. In some blogs, he talks even removing some unnecessary connections. I know that I have to the flatfile connection to bring in some of the flat files. Any suggestions?

  I have a Thinkpad T450s and I'm trying to update the BIOS version 1.19 to 1.20. I've created a live usb with the 'el tortio' - image extracted using linux "dd". Once I boot on the USB under Legacy-BIOS and select upgrade, it proceeds witht the error message "the process does not have this system. The process has been cancelled. "I have disabled the protection against theft, AMT (I think this is the option) and I'm sure that I use the correct .iso file from the downloads section. I don't have a Windows operating system installed, but I'm able to start in various linux distributions using Legacy and UEFI methods.

  I think I've fixed the problem, I formatted FAT16 USB drive and not in FAT32 and also when you use the geteltorito command, it is preferable to use the-o option rather than a redirection ">"syntax. • That gray box that indicates the volume (not the slider) does not, either made the caps lock notification.
