I added them to the elements tacked.

Do you mean the extention "new tab JumpStart?

The developer has released a new version on the addons page that has not yet been approved for publication to the home page, but you can access it from the Versions page. He fits the description 'Fixed break problem with Firefox 22': https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/new-tab-jumpstart/versions/

  • JumpStart + SBS OEM

    Hi all

I hope I could get a glimpse of the question I was asked recently. It was a good, and I hope I make enough sense to ask properly.

Pre-school assistance (software that converts files to image of a machine to a virtual machine automatically, then prepares to be spun in the case of a hardware failure), I have a client who wants to have a VM of its SBS 2011 physics machine, in which case the machine breaks down.

Who has all beautiful all dandy. The problem arises when we look at the SBS 2011 machine. All SBS 2011 machines are OEM, and unlike your consumer versions of windows, you can't just run a virtual machine to the operating system of that with a different material. It will force you to get a new license to the software (I'm sure it's in the Microsoft EULA).

And I can do... to a virtual computer. But if preschool is - almost on a daily basis, preparation and spinning of the VMS in mode standby, I need more licenses. It's just not practical or cost-effective.

Is there a way to get around this? Please note that I am in no way advocating piracy or the desire to do. If I have to buy multiple licenses of SBS 2011, so be it. I don't want to have to buy 100 licenses to burn simply * IF * something can go down.

Maybe I'm asking the wrong questions. I'll perhaps at the wrong angle. Please inform me.

    Hello

The question you posted would be better suited in the TechNet Forums. I would recommend posting your query in the TechNet Forums:

  • new tab page

I just downloaded and installed the new version beta of Firefox (I think that it is version 13.0). One reasons that I decided to try out it, it was the novelty of the tab page mentioned in the email that I received. He said that this new tab page feature has been added which shows photos with recently visited web sites. I used the add-on from new tab Jumpstart to get this kind of functionality. It would be nice to get the same built-in features. I can't find this new addition to the tab page since I installed the new beta. I even disabled the jumpstart add-on to see if that would make it work. How can I get this new tab page feature to work in the new beta?

Try to start Firefox in safe mode. It is possible that your extensions disabled this feature. If it works, you can try to reset the preferences of firefox in Safe Mode dialog box (just do not delete your bookmarks on accident).

  • where is my most used windows displays when I open a new tab by clicking on the +?

When I used to click on the tab + one already open to open a new tab that he used to open a display of windows (not tabs) my most used sites and I could simply click on the window to directly join the debates. Now I get only a blank page and the address bar empty. I am very unhappy that this facility has disappeared. How can I get it back? I have used many. He disappeared only since I've upgraded to Version 6.02. Using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

  • speed of the vehicle by the encoder reading

    Goodmorning Labiview users,

I need to get an encoder in an electric vehicle speed information. Is a quadrature encoder (64 pulse) with two signals: A and B (and obviously gnd). My equipment is:

    -Compact Rio ni9024

    -module NI 9401 (FPGA)

I couldn't find an example for my situation,

I'll be you grateful if you help me. Thanks, has soon.

In 2012, LabVIEW, it is an example for a decoder in Quadrature with the Position and the speed on a CRIO. I have attached a screenshot incase you don't have access to it.

The example uses an index entry, however if you use it you can connect this output to a value constant false and the code will work fine.

Each clock cycle, the FPGA read quadrature inputs. If there is a change, it will calculate the direction (based on the latest values on entries) and either increment or decrement the position. He will also check the number of cycles of the FPGA to calculate how many ticks are passing between the counties of the encoder. You can then read these indicators in your RTW program.

You will need to configure your project accordingly so that the entries of encoders are mapped on the pins of your device. This VI should give you a great jumpstart on the problem.

OK, I was able to get the unit to start all the way using the image that is on the flash. I had to remove the startup for the gateway, the system and the tftp server configuration information. Once I did the unit booted all the way. Now to upgrade this thing.

  • Error of NIC in Windows 7 after update 14 jan

14 Jan my system up to date and the card network has stopped working.

as a quick fix and I had some urgent work to do I did a restore of the system at the time of update pre and connected to the network immediately. Thus, the network adapter DOES not work. But today I have more option restore in the 14 th and I now cannot get any network connection. Please help I'll have to use the iPad to my wife

For anyone experiencing the same problem.

After much digging internet I ran AVG diagnostic tool and despite not being is not able to do a full scan due to the lack of internet connectivity, it has done reports them a problem with the "Jumpstart Wireless filter. I found a solution here http://www.sevenforums.com/network-sharing/237220-cannot-connect-wireless-although-all-other-computers-can.html

After unchecking the box it's all systems go. I found that the software was connected to a netgear device, that I no longer use. Uninstalled the Netgear WNA1100 software and the jumpstart box disappeared too.

so in short; Center network and sharing Center > change adapter settings > click right adapter >, select properties and uncheck jumpstart filter wireless.

I must do this for a living

  • Sever hangs on "VMW_Vaaip_Cx loaded successfully."

IHAC with a server at boot is stuck at "VMW_Vaaip_Cx successfully loaded" for an hour. Once it reboots it is not all LUNs.

I've seen cases where the ESXi splash screen displays a specific module loading message, but in the background, it might be stuck in another module loading. A way to get some extra info would be to check

/var/log/Boot.gz file (unzip and open in the vi editor). Check how long it takes to vaaip_cx load or is he really in charge. Also look into the /var/log/jumpstart-stdout.log who can also suggest a few errors.

If you have any computer to start correctly, compare the ATAS/psp rules in two machine and verify that none of the default values are not changed

  • Basics of the WCS

I'm basically a cooler and about nine to Fatwire/Oracle Webcenter Sites. I just want to learn as much as possible since we use it in our project. If anyone can guide me as to what are the basics of the WCS, which must be learned in future I'm also take a certification. Really need advice from expert right now since there, no one seems to help me.

    Hello

Here are all the documents you need, assuming you are using the latest version of the product:

WebCenter Sites Documentation for Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g (11.1.1.8)

If I were you I would try to get a JSK (JumpStart Kit), you can get it if you have access to a Support of Oracle account. Maybe start with the user guide to understand how the product works and then start with the developer's guide.

The introductory chapters are very useful and you want to pay special attention to the chapters of data model and chapters to the models.

There is much to see and much to learn, so be patient.

    Best regards

  • Application example "Articles" does not start on Oracle WebCenter Sites Jump Start Kit with Tomcat

    Hello

I'm new to the Oracle WebCenter Sites platform and I followed step by step documentation at this link: http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E29542_01/doc.1111/e29634/wemlaunchingsampleapp.htm

I am trying to install the sample application named "Articles" as indicated in the link. After that, I compiled the application, I move the .war file on the following path: "C:\Oracle\App_Server\apache-tomcat-7.0.42\Sites\webapps".

Then I stop the Application Server and then restart it. It creates the new folder in the folder webapps ' Articles - 1.0 ", but when I try to go to the localhost:9180/Articles-1.0/install.app link as mentioned in the documentation it gives me"HTTP 404 "status.

If I go to Tomcat Web Application Manager he said that items - 1.0 is not started, and if I try to start it again it told me: 'FAIL - Application to the context items - 1.0 path not could be started.

That's what it says in the catalina from the application log file:

    I solved it to change

    articles\src\main\webapp\WEB-INF\classes\cas-cache. XML

    file in this part:

    <>

    Class = "net. SF. Ehcache.distribution.RMICacheManagerPeerProviderFactory ".

Properties = "peerDiscovery Auto is, multicastGroupAddress is 230.0.0.0,

    multicastGroupPort=@casCacheMultiCastGroupPort @, timeToLive = 0 "/ >"

    change of attribute multicastGroupPort=@casCacheMultiCastGroupPort @

with your JumpStart Kit port (my port was 9180)

    multicastGroupPort = 9180

  • VMware 5.5 Upgrade breaks access the VMFS data store (kind of)

Now, before I get off, I will say that I am sure that the host I'm doing this on IS NOT on the HCL.

(why I'm running old hardware?-c' is a community organization that I volunteer for which relies on hardware dontated)

    However, please read on.

Updated an IBM x 3500 and a x 3650 (same generation - they are basically Tower and rack mount versions of the same kit) to esxi 5.1 to 5.5.

(Exactly the same problem on both)

Local storage - IBM Serveraid (aacraid)

I was a bit confused as the controllers of disk and LUN show always also visible (just no VMFS didn't recognize any time how I rescan).

(normally the LUNS do not appear due to a driver does not)

I found that I was able to get future LUNS by practice

    'Add a storage '.

    "Disk/LUN.

(30-60 seconds then shows the LUNS)

    1.png

It shows the drive bays, I click Next and select "mount disc and keep the signature '...

    2.png

The lun then comes fine and everything works.

However rebooting it gets lost again and I have to repeat the process to get the VMFS volumes to come back.

Either you have to will the volumes - or clean all paths dead in your esx.conf

  • Fiber Channel - has not H:0 x D:0 x P:0 x 0 0 5

Hi everyone... running into a rather disconcerting problem that we seek to establish our 5.x ESXi hosts FC connectivity an IBM Gen2 XIV.

We will deploy it on two separate with identical hardware sites - record so that a site is running ESXi 5.0 and the other site is running ESXi 5.1.  Two configurations are a number of blades Dell with QLogic talk a Brocade in bladecenter switch ISL would go to our fibre "basic" environment that the XIV hangs directly.  Using WWPN base zoning and two fabrics (two core CF and two FC switches in each center of the blade).

Our problem is that on the site running ESXi 5.1 HBA renumerisations on an ESXi host making * long * term - when we had only a few LUN rescan took ~ 5 minutes... now that we have 20 or so Mon exposed we are up to 35-40 minutes for a new analysis complete.  This makes also host reboots take an excessive amount of time (which makes sense).  On the site running ESXi 5.0, everything is 'normal' - complete reanalysis in less than a minute.

The following errors can be observed in the vmkernel.log throughout the new analysis (and in fact at any time however the day - they seem to be more frequent during the rescan activity):

    (2013 03-29 T 20: 24:32.112Z cpu6:8198) ScsiDeviceIO: 2329: Cmd (0x4124003e56c0) 0x1a, CmdSN 0x73f5a of the world 0-dev 'eui.001738000f86088c' has no sense H:0 x 5 D:0 x P:0 x 0 possible 0-data: 0 x 0 0 x 0 0 x 0.

We have tickets open with the two VMware (which did us to our storage provider, IBM) and IBM.  IBM made a few suggestions (nothing major) that we put in place, but did not help.  From their point of view, our SAN environment seems perfect - no errors on ports, correct zoning, firmware update, etc.  We continue to work around the corner from support, but wanted to throw here in the case of question, someone has suggestions.

At this point, the next steps are more along the lines of fracture and conquer / trial and error.  With the new version of ESXi, there is also a newer version of the firmware on the QLogic there is the site running ESXi 5.0 (where there are no problems).  We can try to downgrade one of guests 5.1 to 5.0 to see if the problem follows.  Next steps to reproduce the problem to one operating system other than ESXi and then maybe a stand-alone host attached directly to the BC switch.  And so on and so forth.  Unfortunately, it's all PRD equipment, so everything must be planned and it'll take some time to get through all the trial and error.

Anything here jump out of anyone who could help us solve the problem of jumpstart?

I'll note that by looking at newspapers, * some * LUN seem to throw errors more frequently than others (and the number of errors is quite coherent throughout in each group).  I thought it maybe had to do with some of the LUNS that is detected as supporting "Hardware Acceleration" and others not (which is also confusing since all the LUNS on the same XIV - why wouldn't they take all over or does not support hardware acceleration?).

    Thanks in advance!

    Ray

With only two cluster LUN I don't know if it's related, but at least it's worth reading

  • Where to find VMware ESXi vJumpstart online courses?

    Hello

I got the email from VMware on these course links, but the links do not open.

"As start you with VMware ESXi, here are some useful resources:

Take the VMware ESXi vJumpstart online courses to help you get started. This course is divided into 2 parts.

Virtulization Conecpts (1 hour 12 minutes)

ESXi server build (1 hour, 30 minutes)

    "

Can someone help me find this material?

    Thank you.

Hi, both links are working for me, it uses WebEx player to listen to the jumpstart.

    Thank you

  • Can you manage ESX with Opsware?

Title says it all. IHAS with this question.

If the answer is Yes, I guess it would be a necessary agent. In addition, Opsware manage VC as well?

    Bill Griffith

    Ahhh... Opsware.

Yes, it can semi - manage the VM (s) put into service through Opsware and also VM (s) who installed the Opsware agent. I used Opsware in the past mainly supply/deploy/configure of the ESX host and then using vCenter to manage your VI environment. I think that the last 7.5 SAS will really help ESX 3.5 and potentially ESXi 3.5, from 6.0 to 6.5, it won't support not 3.5 commissioning. A hack was a sort of configuration that a policy was to deploy a 3.0 base image and a policy to upgrade was the installation upgrade to 3.5 which has been our work around. You can have many more features in your vCenter, but I believe that one of the objective of the Opsware, range of products is to be able to integrate in the management of external change and the CMDB and other external systems to automate the workflow where you can request a system, do so in your configuration data center and supply both the OS and applications including sanitation and connection. A good thing if you do not have a standard, a tool for commissioning in all operating systems, you can configure SAS to configure Windows, Solaris, Linux and ESX, but this comes first just on top of your standard WinPE/unattended installation jumpstart and kickstart relies.

I think it's an interesting product, but you can count on their professional services and it does not right out of the box, there are a lot of customization to be added and deployment of the Infrastructure of Opsware itself is a pretty daunting task with a multi-maillage cores and additional satellites. We never had the time to upgrade to 7.5, but what I've seen in the past is the product is always behind on the current operating system versions and I hope that this has changed. Oh CS is not the height, especially for the price tag of their products.
