  After the purchase of my new netbook Aspire One, I came across a difficult situation. This unit has the colossal capacity for one SSD 8 GB HDD which lead me to the conclusion that I needed an external hard drive to complete my new laptop. When I soon decide to upgrade this laptop I'm going with a Toshiba that I know if your laptops are even half as durable as your external hard drives, it will survive probably me.

• Retro-fit a preloader... little help here!

  I just buy a Probook 4530 s. I installed the Synaptics TouchPad driver, but scrolling does not work.   Have you checked the synaptic driver settings to ensure that two fingers scrolling has been enabled?

  Most people use a finger to scroll with. If two fingers scrolling is enabled, it seems then that the scrolling feature does not work. I suspect that this might be the case.

  Install the original synaptics driver to retrieve the software. I have listed below.

  Once that is done, go to start > Control Panel > hardware and sound > mouse.
  On this screen, select the device settings and then the settings button below.

  Once there, you will see the options a finger and two fingers. Make sure that two fingers is not selected if it is present. Under a finger scrolling, ensure that scrolling is enabled.

  Let me know what happens.

• Just improved m tips on best practices for sharing files on a Server 2008 std.

Since I am usually accustomed to using windows Explorer, I would like to know if these actions can be done in the best conditions. Also I noticed on 2008 there is a feature of contacts. How can it be used? I would like to message or send an email to users their file locations. Also, I want to implement an admin at a lower level to handle the actions without making them far in on the server, not sure.

  I read a certain bbut I don't like test direct more because it can cause problems. So basically a way short and neat to manage shares using the MMC, as well as the way that I approach their mail from the server of their actions. Maybe what kind of access cintrol or permissions are suitable also for documents. Also how can I have them use office templates without changing the format of the model.

  The method that seems to work OK is to use the method you describe. It requires another step to click or two, but I can see and reach all my saved files when you save a bookmark. Thanks for the suggestion of workaround.

  I would suggest that there is a bug in there somwhere that needs to be squashed.  It prevents a complete list of saved folders and bookmark s from being displayed under Bookmarks Menu when Bookmark this Page is selected.
