    Hello

Use methods such as the SFC, CheckDisk, driver updates, and others in the resolution of the issues identified
at this link as they will help solve or at least narrow down the questions. After that you can post the
information of BlueScreenView and these other utilities, so we can offer more specific advice. Of
check with a real store of the computer or the system manufacturer's support would be a good idea though
I would try the possible solutions, you can first.

Check this thread for more information using BlueScreenView, MyEventViewer and other methods
to troubleshoot the BlueScreens - top 4 answers. Don't forget to check FaultWire links for those
Bug_Checks as their recommendations are usually very good.

You can use BlueScreenView to stick the BSOD info in a message here.

NOTICE - report HTML all THE ELEMENTS or right-click on a BSOD line and select the same. Then, copy and
Paste the lines in a message here. Make sure and check the file name section. Also check the time
in MyEventViewer for more information as possible.

Check out these utilities to see if information may be collected:

It is an excellent tool for displaying the blue screen error information

-Free - BlueScreenView scans all your minidump files created during "blue screen of death," collisions
and displays information about all accidents of a table.

    -------------

MyEventViewer can be verified at the time of the blue screen (BSOD) within a second or so of the
time of the BSOD to provide more information about the possible cause - see TIP.

MyEventViewer - free - a simple alternative in the standard Windows Event Viewer.
TIP - Options - Advanced filter allows you to see a period of time instead of the whole of the record-
Set it for a bit before and after the time of the BSOD.

    ------------

AppCrashView - free - a small utility for Windows Vista and Windows 7 that displays the details of all the
application goes down has occurred in your system. The information breaks down is extracted from the .wer
the files created by the Windows Error Reporting (WER) of the operating system component of each
time that an accident has occurred. AppCrashView also allows you to easily record the list of accidents to

  • How can I get Firefox to take back me to the last folder of bookmarks, I was in like Internet Explorer instead of back to the beginning each time?

When I find a Web site by using bookmarks in Firefox and then I want to look like another site in that same case, especially in a subfolder, Firefox brings back me at the beginning of the bookmarks menu. With Internet Explorer, it takes back me to the same folder or subfolder in that I was. For example, if I wanted to pick up newspapers, especially if they are in subfolders, I want to stay in the same place. Firefox loses this place, unlike Internet Explorer and brings back me at the beginning every time. Sometimes, I have several layers of subfolders and it takes time to find this place each time.

One possibility is to open the bookmarks bar.
Click the list next to the star icon on the Navigation toolbar, and then click "View Bookmarks Sidebar" (Ctrl + B).

  • On several occasions, Winows update updates but fails.

Hello, my problem is that my drivers might be damaged I was fresh and reinstall several times and Windows Update indicates several times after I stop and start for the next session. However, I have read your responses to the problems and he was no help maybe it was but I do not think I have SP2 or SP3 installed on the computer and try to installed SP2 or SP3 computer so don't have it. I learn the computer and I loved but I did what is ask and he didn't mature.

    Hi Alex,

Please answer these questions to better understand the issue.

    (1) Windows update are you trying to install?

    (2) are what Service Pack (SP2 & SP3) you referring?

    (3) what is the exact error you get when you try to install Windows Update?

    (4) you have any third-party security program installed on Windows 8?

On Windows 8, you can upgrade to Windows 8.1, it not Service Pack 1, 2 or 3 as the previous version of Windows. Windows Update may not install because of the connection to the internet, or because of some third-party programs. Follow these methods and check if that helps.

Method 1: Follow the steps in the troubleshooting section of Microsoft. You might be able to fix some problems automatically by running the Windows Update Troubleshooter:

    Problems with installing updates

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows-8/troubleshoot-problems-installing-updates

Method 2: I suggest you to reset the Windows Update components and check

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/971058/en-us

Important Follow the steps in this section carefully. Serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before you modify it, Save the registry restore problems.

Method 3: refer to this article and follow the steps only for Windows 8:

"Configuration of the Windows updates failed. Restoration of the changes. Do not turn off your computer"error when you try to install Windows updates

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/949358/en-us

  • Install an upgrade of Vista or Win 7 from Xp or Vista: can I install the first then get updates then install or just install when the first is installed? And other related issues.

Firstly: I understand that Windows XP can have Windows Vista upgrades. Second, Windows 7 upgrades require Windows Vista not windows XP.

    So:

-If I had to install Windows XP: I install the Vista upgrade right after? Or should I get all updates for XP first?

-If I had to install Windows Vista: I would like to install the Windows 7 upgrade right after? Or should I get the updates for Vista first?

-Would be recognized hardware in a laptop in the upgrade or installation of the version full? For example: I have a laptop. It is pre-loaded with the software and hardware that had specific software: for example: the modem, modem wireless and other things that the cell needs to function... But I had to make a back-up for the laptop, there was no installation cd and cd software. I know that Windows installs drivers that are ok. The material would be useless if?

    Thank you.

"If it ain't broke...". "is well thought!

It is whether equipment manufacturers if they write Vists/etc drivers, or not.

And they often decide to sell more NEW material, instead of writing the most recent operating system drivers.

Microsoft depends a lot on what they provide.

    NEW UPDATE...

I just launched it difficulty 5020 in DEFAULT mode as described in article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/910336 .

Followed the instructions to restart after that he ran and then reinstalled KB 285937 who was always available. Hey presto, this time it installed correctly!

Then I ran Windows Update and no. NEW updates were offered... PROBLEM SOLVED.

  • KB2859537 is being installed on several occasions

KB2859537 guard offered by Microsoft Update, even though it has apparently been installed (no error message appears in Add/Remove programs and it has an uninstall folder in the Windows directory.)

    OS is XP SP3.

I even took the step to install it manually and separately on the Microsoft Web site, but I still have this Windows Update icon in my system tray.

It seems that each Patch Tuesday, I have an update that does not address properly. Any suggestions?

Q: Update for Windows XP (KB2859537) security is (displayed) in Add/Remove programs?
    R: Yes

Registry Booster may have been used once... CCleaner has been used very sparingly...

You have backups of ALL the changes that Registry Booster and any other "registry cleaner" NEVER made it to your computer? [2]

    ===========================================================
[1] full Disclosure: the difficulty operating in aggressive mode will remove your update history (to the Windows Update Web site) but not list the updates installed in Add/Remove programs.

[2] injudicious use of registry cleaners role here. TIP: If you ever think that your registry database must be cleaned, repaired, boosted, point, healed, twisted, fixed, magnified, "swept" or optimized (it isn't), read http://chris.pirillo.com/are-registry-cleaners-safe-to-use/ or http://www.edbott.com/weblog/2005/04/why-i-don ' t-use - Registry cleaners / and then draw your own conclusions. • My computer was 20 installation updates and stopped at 12 of the 20. Are unable to complete the download and it says unable to OFF... what I do?

Computer has stopped in the middle of installing downloaded updates... It said unable to off... What should I do?

    Give him more time!

If subsequently you must turn itoff, and you have problems:

    Restore point:

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the provided link and do a repair of the disc.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
