On several occasions, Winows update updates but fails.

Hello, my problem is that my drivers might be damaged I was fresh and reinstall several times and Windows Update indicates several times after I stop and start for the next session. However, I have read your responses to the problems and he was no help maybe it was but I do not think I have SP2 or SP3 installed on the computer and try to installed SP2 or SP3 computer so don't have it. (1) Windows update are you trying to install?

(2) are what Service Pack (SP2 & SP3) you referring?

(3) what is the exact error you get when you try to install Windows Update?

(4) you have any third-party security program installed on Windows 8?

On Windows 8, you can upgrade to Windows 8.1, it not Service Pack 1, 2 or 3 as the previous version of Windows. Windows Update may not install because of the connection to the internet, or because of some third-party programs. Follow these methods and check if that helps.
