  • NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 code 19 error

    Hello

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit and have encountered a problem with the graphics drive. There is an exclamation mark next to the NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 in the graphics card and the error message is "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its information of configuration (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19) »

It is up to date and there is no driver to restore. I uninstalled it and upon restarting, Windows successfully installed the driver, but the exclamation mark is still there. It has been suggested that I choose option 2 here to search for the drivers and Graphics Driver 280.26 has been found to install, but it made no difference. I don't know if it's important that I tried to uninstall it once before and selected the 'remove the software for the device option', but who do not select the second time.

When I select 'check for solutions' in Device Manager there are two long files that describe the error. I downloaded here and here.

The only problems is originally so far (or at least I suppose is caused by this because it happened at the same time) is that I can't select 1440 x 900 for a resolution of the screen so my screen is off, and I can put my computer in mode 'sleep'. Sleep is grayed out in the options. Any help is very appreciated. Thank you!

So, after two weeks of multiple uninstalls, reinstall, install clean, destruction of registry, driver, using different drivers sweepers, spend time with the customer of NVIDIA and passing by each troubleshoot I could Google, I removed the HP Portrait display 1.4 update and now all is well. That had been installed AFTER that I started having the problem with NVIDIA so I guess it started as a small bug (the driver for my mouse also stopped working at the same time as the graphics card, but that was a simple fix) that the HP update is impossible to fix.

    Thanks for your help, Paul!

My GetForce put up to date the most recent driver updated and there is no problem I know with whom. I read a litte autour my ATA driver can slow down and start doing this gel then go to blue screen if it malfunctions. I was looking for every possible way get an update for my ATA controller driver anywhere without having to pay for it. I guess I should upgrade to Windows 7 to possibly get an update. Update to Windows 7 would remove all the programs/personal off my computer files and if I had to stop the gel? Any help would be great because I searched everywhere and found the best solution yet. • Win7 and nVidia 6150SE 430 motherboard

Are they really compatible? When I run video games like Civ 3 or 4 the processor starts to run high and the fan runs at full speed as the machine is about to take off ;-). The games can be run in full screen mode and even with a window frame and the animation set as low as possible, the set of parameters 'Global' or low nVidia, I still I have this problem.

I downloaded updates (280) recommended driver from nVidia for compatibility and problems with the windows leaving 'trail' when they were displaced the other. This seems to be a question of resources.

Can I solve this problem with a separate graphics card? And if yes how heavy duty a card can the system handle?

Yes, Windows 7 and Nvidia 6150SE/430 chipset are compatible. Probably you are in need of a discrete graphics card to offload processing card video system. If your system has slot PCIe x 16, almost any PCIe x 16 graphics card should work your power suplly provided is large enough to power the new card.

You don't mention what HP/Compaq computer, you have, so we can only speculate about the extension and power connectors that has your computer. Please provide your number of HP/Compaq exact model or product number for more specific help with your question.

    Hello:

You will need this chipset driver in order to install the ethernet (NVIDIA NFORCE 10/100 Mbps ethernet) and most of the other devices you listed.

You should install this driver first and restart the computer before you install any other driver.

According to the specifications of your model, it came with integrated graphics which means that you have added the video card.

So you will not find this graphics driver on your PC support page.

I have a hand built system running Windows XP sp3. It does not recognize one of the pilots who strives to update and suggested I have uninstall and then try to re - install. When I tried to re - install, it says that I need an installation disc. I don't have a disc, so I contacted NVIDIA. They informed me that they offer no support for this controller when part of a card mother and suggested that I contact Microsoft. Can someone help me find an installation disc, or suggest that I could do to make this work?

You can probably download the drivers from the support page for your computer.

Have a Pavilion a1700n with Vista Home 32-bit (SP2) Preimium.  You will need to re - install the drivers for the NVIDIA nForce Network Controller, but need to re - install the driver.  May not know exactly what model of controller I have, so don't know what driver to pull out of the NVIDIA site.

Features HP are very generic to describe the network controller, and the driver for the controller does not appear on the list of available drivers on the HP site for this computer.

The driver for the network part of the NVIDIA chipset drivers, if you can't get by using the Recovery Manager, you can download drivers download for your O.S. and chipset NVIDIA nForce
