"Loving DroidX case feeds on phone.

Since the 2.2 update my phone then turned itself whenever I put it in its case... after of tons of attempts to understand why and to fix and inadvertently screwing my phone, I finally understood this morning that it is:

The magnet on the purchased Verizon holder is turning the phone is turned on, bypass the lock screen and enters the car of approx. easy to re-create home... I checked with a colleague who has an original Droid with the 2.2 update and it has the same problem when touching on my case.

I tried the Evo of co-workers and they do NOT have this problem of the Galaxy.

Seems to be a bug for motorala... and also a very easy way to hack a phone... Not good!

This really sucks since my phone doesn't help (try a different difficulty that fizzled out... because of me)

If Motorola: If you PLEASE correct it.

Please tell me how I can restore my phone to Android 2.1 and

Please make sure that Verizon corrects their affairs accordingly.

Thank you

I have my Officejet pro 8600 value fax NO response.  But when in phone... via phone calls connected to the phone in the back of the printer... and the line connected to the line port... the fax machine "will answer", which is to connect to the line and interrupt the phone call, I'm... No problem.  Hope that works according to a straight line.

  • Smart battery business effects on the phone battery?

    Hello

What is your contribution regarding the effects of the case continually recharges the phone?

First of all, I'm confused that the case feeds the case when the phone is 100% or if it is just trickle charge the phone and keep it 100%. I read a few articles such as (http://fortune.com/2015/12/14/apple-iphone-battery-case-review/) saying that the case battery fully powers the phone. However, I have reason to believe that the case is simply trickle charge the phone.

If the case was simply charging the phone on charge of compensation, he would have no adverse effects on the long-term phone battery? As (http://www.powerstream.com/li.htm) and (http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/charging_lithium_ion_batteries) does point out that trickle charge a Li-ion battery can have negative effects on the battery. I much prefer fresh case of how Mophie battery, I can turn it on when I want to and end it before 100%, but I prefer by far holding the handle of the smart case in my hands.

The management of the battery of the phone is very smart. When the battery reaches 100%, it stops to load. Completely. When the phone is 100% power is connected powering the phone, and the battery is ignored. If you could leave it plugged into the wall for weeks without interruption, and it wouldn't hurt anything. In fact, you SHOULD leave plugged in overnight, every night and allow automatic backups iTunes via WiFi or iCloud. In this way the most you can lose is a day data.

As a result, the case feeds the phone up to exhausts its battery, then the battery takes over. If the battery is not fully charged when you connect the case he will first charge the battery.

  • Black screen when the phone call after 5.1

The screen loses response (black screen) on the call (after dialing) after 5.0 OTA. But it works well if I plug headphones. The screen can also recover the black screen after I have connect a listener.

Do you have a case on your phone? It can interfere with the proximity sensor and turn the screen black... it is supposed to do after you hold the phone to your ear/head so that your face not to accidentally push buttons.

If it does when you do not hold your phone to your face/head/ear then something else is triggering the sensor of prox - often a case which is near the prox sensor, or a protective screen that is not clear in this area can cause this.

Do you have a case on your phone? It seems that the proximity sensor is processing the phone as if it were close to your face. A case or a screen protector can cause problems if it includes the proximity sensor - near the earpiece.

  • BlackBerry phone Q10 automatically answers call

I have a flip case for my phone. When the phone rings and I open flip answer the call automatically which removes the option to not take the call. It starts only yestrerday who happens, before I could open the suitcase and answer calls normally. No idea of what is happening and how to stop it?

Check this setting, open your phone app (tap the call icon).

Swipe down from the top to the SETTINGS.

    Tap Holster.

TURN OFF response call by withdrawing from the case.

    In addition...

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Now let's see if the same will continue.

  • Why IP need to know its information phone of VLAN?

Why phone IP need to know its VLAN ID?

    Hi Fayiz,

First, you use IP phones that runs on IP addresses... and on the same switch port that is connected to the phone and as well as a PC... you need to differentiate the two ip packets so to what this should be another subnet lan for all devices of IP phone and the different subnet to the data... as well , all data packets will cross via the package of data vlan and the voice through the vlan voice.

So, in this case an IP phone should know what is its id vlan, then it can send the packet to its vlan corresponding...

So, every time we using IP phane and pc on the link L2 then we will differentiate it by managing the different VLANS for voice and data package.

This is why it is very important for an IP phone to know its id vlan.

Hope this will be useful for you...

Please do not forget to rate if you find it useful for you.

    Kind regards

  • BlackBerry Bold 9650 smartphone volume questions in the case

I used my Bold 9650 in the Holster while I work in the gym and I was listening to Pandora. I noticed that the volume controls on the right side of the device will not work while the unit is in the Holster. If I get out of the Holster, the volume buttons work fine. Is it possible to allow these buttons while the case is used? I would have thought that they would work automatically by default. Thank you.

I'm no expert on the cases, but I know that the magnet in the case puts your phone "sleep", turn off the screen.  This could also affect the side buttons.

To make sure that this isn't just a problem with your phone, remove your battery when your phone is turned on, then replace it.  If the symptoms persist, it could be something with that you'll just have to live.

    I hope that helps you.

  • OOB CCA with IP phones

    Hello

Is currently considering an NAC solution with own access out of band, I don't know how it works with IP phones. I have 700 + phones IP Cisco using PoE, with a PC hooked up to the rear.

If I understand the OOB CCA, if a user connect a PC on the back of a phone, the VIRTUAL to PC LAN would change to one VLAN not reliable for compliance or remediation. I obviously wouldn't have the vlan voice checked, but I do not know how well the phone would work so that access VLAN on the port changes.

Access switches are a mixture of 3550/60, and phones are a mixture of 7912/60/70.

Anyone has experience with this, good or bad?

    Thank you.

Here is the jist of the slide presentation:

OOB VoIp is configured using profiles so that the telephone traffic bypasses the CASES and data traffic through the CASE. The phone is placed in two separate VLANs. Phone MAC address must then be added to a filtration device so that it lies in the VLAN by default to access and does not pass Auth VLAN.

That the phone is plugged into setting for mac-notification SNMP only (not link up/down) to the CASE to know which device connects and don't rebound for a change port VLAN. The filter allows you to do. Apparently, you can also export all your MAC VoIP addresses via the Admin tool to bulk Call Manager.

In the settings of the profile, create a new profile for phones VoIP with Auth Default and VLAN by default. Make sure "Switch VLAN if the device is in the list of global device filters", "Switch to default Access VLAN so certified and in the list of the OOB users" and "Switch to default Auth VLAN so certified, but not in the list of the OOB users" is checked.

I'm sure there are more, but that's what I threw down the slide. I hope this helps or at least points you in the right direction.

    Hi John,.

You can follow the steps below to do a factory reset the phone 7975 G IP:

The phone starts its cycle of power.

Step 2 While the phone is turned on, and before the speaker button flashes power on and off, press and hold #.

Keep pushing # until each line key flashes on and outside, in the orange order.

    Step 3 # Exit and press on # 123456789 * 0.

You can press a key twice in a row, but if you press keys in sequence, the reset will not take place.
