Keyboard and screen slow to respond

We have an esxi40 server and we have created a virtual machine that is running windows 2003 os with applications that run on it. We have people who use the server terminal server to access. We've set it for 1 cpu and 2 gigabytes of memory. Looks like when we have around 20 users connected, as the day progresses, we'll have maybe one or two people call and tell us that when the open Notepad or excel and try to type something, they receive slow responses and when they try to open a tab they have mininized, it is slow to respond.

It is: I don't get because of this alarm on the control even if it seems to be a memory problem.

Your comments please.

Thank you

Rebecca

Parts for Portege R830 should be compatible with the R835 too.
Usually, it's the same series but released in another region.

The screen seems to be compatible with the Portege R705 and R830, R835 series.
This is why it should be compatible with your model too.

  • Pavilion: Pavilion x 360 problems of keyboard and screen

    I'm the unhappy owner of a x 360 Pavilion, prod. lol M9G20EA #UUW.

    Big questions:

    1. About half of the time the screen is upside down when I opened the PC. Sometimes closing and by reopening bypasses the screen. Sometimes a reboot is required.
    2. The hardware keyboard and the touchpad randomly is disabled. A full restart is necessary for reactivation.

The machine is working. The service company argues that were without material errors, and restored the operating system to windows 8 - who has not solved the problems.

I see in this forum a lot has similar problems with this model. I've tried every suggestion I could find here. Onfortunately it did not help.

Just for the follow-up of this: HP transferred my "case" in Danish support, who contacted me by phone and loved very much for help me.
I send a few drivers for display, chipset and touchpad, with instructions to install them in a specific order.
Unfortunately, it has not solved the problem.
I was then absent for various during some time and when I went back to using the machine again, there was an update of display driver of app HP Support Assistant unfortunately the autoinstall has failed, but I managed to find the same product on the HP website driver download and install manually from there. I also found a newer version of the chipset driver, which I also installed.
Installation of the required drivers, a lot of tinkering, including the assistance of a third party (provided by HP) to completely remove the old display driver, several restarts in safe mode, etc.
At the time of writing these I have had no problems on keyboard for a while - hoping he disappeared completely. The problem with the screen being upside is still there, but to a much lesser degree. In addition, the orientation sensor seems more sensitive, while just shaking the screen backwards a little wil if he turns in the correct position.
If this will continue to be the situation, I can live with that.
But still: (almost) all that work to make a product works as advertised should not be necessary. It should work out of the box or at least with a quick access, automated driver update.
When I saw a great add to the airport the other day, promising that HP will "continue to reinvent", I couldn't help wishing that they would take a break, in order to ensure that they have already invented is currently working as expected ;-)

  • Keyboard and mouse do not respond during installation of Windows 7.

navigation when installing win 7 without the keyboard and mouse

I installed Windows 7 Home Premium on a new computer with P67 Pro3 motherboard and storage of 128SSD. I don't have the use of the mouse, although the keyboard works. (Good work). This is my first time building my own computer.

I stood for "I accept...". "in the box before you click"next ".
The clicking on 'enter' had worked up to this time to move the process forward. Now 'Enter' does not work, I tried a certain 'shortcuts without result. For me to accept the conditions to continue the installation. I checked the "keyboard Short cuts for windows, but I have not found one to solve my problem." There is no cursor on the screen.
I'll be grateful for any help.

  • Satellite L550-204 - wake-up keyboard and screen drive

    Hey there

I want to use my laptop as a local pc. I can, without opening the lid. I have two options in the Bios: wake-up keyboard and wake on LAN. How to install this?

And are there any new graphics drivers for ATI as of 2009? We really have 2011. :( There must be newer drivers

    Thanks :)

    Hey Buddy,

I recommend reading the manual of user ;)

    Wake up on the keyboard:
+ When this feature is enabled and the computer is in Mode standby, you can activate the computer by pressing any key. It is effective only for the internal keyboard and only when the computer is in Standby Mode. +

    Wake up on LAN:
+ This feature allows the power of the computer be turned on since the closure, when it receives a wake-up packet (Magic packet) from the local network. This feature doesn't not affect Wake-up on LAN of the standby or Hibernation mode. +
(With other words only be useful in a network)

So, you can t turn on laptop without pressing the power button.

By the way: why you need new display drivers?

  • Is it safe to leave the cover of the keyboard between the keyboard and screen retina when I close the macbook?

Hi, I have a macbook pro 15 "retina.

I got the cover of the keyboard (not cheap but decent), and I use it everytime I open my macbook.

However, I heard that it would be dangerous to leave the keypad cover when you close the macbook. Because it could hurt the sensitive retina screen.

    Is this true?

Is it safe to leave the cover on my keyboard when I close the macbook? It's a little annoying move coverage of my keyboard everytime I have my macbook to opening / closing.

If it's dangerous, is there a cover keyboard without danger to the retina on the market?

    Thanks for the help!

I have used Moshi Clearguard kb current covers on two MacBook Pro, including retina mid-2014, I usually use closed with my Apple display 27 ". I put KB covers on as soon as I bought computers and have never deleted without fingers never touched my keys. I did it because I saw how dirty the kbs in the Apple Store, and the seller told me that once the black keys are oily, it is impossible to clean completely. I started with a silicone rubber cap. Three weeks later, I threw it in disgust and I bought a Moshi to replace.

Moshi rugs are much thinner and lighter than the silicone rubber ones more adapted, hold their shape better, stay clear longer and are much easier to clean and type through. In addition to the one on my computer Ko, I keep one on the external Apple wireless keyboard which is always exposed on my desk. These caches really keep particulate crud, and they do not interfere with my typing at all. When they are dirty, I rub it in the sink with a detergent and a brush to vegetables, and when possible discoloration becomes noticeable after three or four years, I replace it with new ones.

My previous MBP, a Core 2 Duo late 2008 unibody model, allows to get much hotter than my current on occasion, and I fear sometimes that heat buildup between the lowercase and the display closed would cook the KB cover or even the screen itself. But that never happened, but I guess it might have helped if any yellowing of the coverage.

If use you Moshi hiding for seven years, I would never consider a time using a silicone back cover. I did not, and you shouldn't worry about all to close your view on a Moshi.

  • Keyboard and screen of 8520 blackBerry Smartphones's do not illuminate when I get an SMS!

Screen and my phone keypad does not illuminate upwards when I get an SMS but the red warning light flashes. Should I change some settings? Brand new Curve 8520 (updated a.822 and still no solution).

In my view, it is not possible to make your screen and the keyboard light up, even if there are applications that can do it for you, but not in the phone, you cannot have your screen light up when you receive a SMS.

  • Problem starting el capitan (sierra) - built-in keyboard and the mouse do not respond

    Hello

I have a 2015 macbook pro (SSD 256, 16 GB of RAM last el capitan updated) with a wired problem.

I use it mainly to a cinema monitor and I use wireless keyboard and mouse (office installation program), and of course as a stand-alone laptop when I'm not at my desk.

When I put the laptop to sleep, everything works fine when I wake up.

but, if I'm away from the office and I have to restart my laptop, here is the problem.

The boot process is very very slow, there is no edge, and when I finally have the screen to unlock the safe, the keyboard and the touchpad do not react. Actually, that's not exactly true, they are so slow that they are unusable and get caught quickly, all gel. So I can't unlock and complete the boot. My laptop is unusable ;-(

At this point, I get a message that if I forgot my password I just need to reboot by pressing the power button, and I'll be able to reset it.

When I do this and aprΦs the dΘmarrage that more slowly than usual but ok, I get another screen with several options of problem solving. One of them is "keyboard not responding do not. When choosing this one, it asks if you want to remove safe. I tried and everything was back to normal.

later, I delivered safe and I had the same problem again. I did the thing to be able to restart again and improved to sierra in the hope that it would disappear. However, the problem is still there.

I thought I could try to restart my office to see if my keyboard and wireless mouse would still work. Indeed, even if responsiveness was not normal, I could unlock and fill the chest.

I have the impression that my laptop always "believe" it is on my desk, linked to my screen (probably the reason why I don't hear the Bell) and to my wireless K & M.

It's really annoying and I hope someone has a solution.

    Thank you very much

    best,

    Alex

I'm having a similar problem with macOS Sierra which I didn't have with El Capitan.  I can possibly move the cursor on the power button and turn off (no), but I must be patient because the keyboard and trackpad are only for a fraction of a second, which only allows me to move the mouse slightly.  After he stop and start back up, everything is perfect until I tried another reboot, and then I'm back to the beginning.

I tried to reinstall the operating system, reset the SMC, resetting the NVRAM, reboot in SafeMode... nothing worked so far.

  • MacBook Pro: Integrated keyboard and mouse not responding pluse

    I have a MacBook Pro 13 ", early 2015, installed with OS X 10.11.4.

I use it mainly to work, with the screen closed, an external display (via Thunderport) and an Apple and change Vertical Mouse 4 - times connected via Bluetooth wireless keyboard.

Before I get home, I open the screen, disconnect the power cord and power cord screen Thunderbolt and then close it. I leave the keyboard and Bluetooth mouse on as I leave the office.

It works normally, but yesterday my Mac kept looking for Bluetooth devices home and would not respond to the built-in keyboard and mouse (with the exception of the switch when maintained supported 10 seconds for a forced stop). Reboot doesn't change anything and I tried to reboot with the disk (Cmd + R) utility or reset the NVRAM (Cmd + Option + P + R) and the keys did nothing. Reset SMC (Shift + Ctrl + Option + power) does not seem to do anything either.

When I connected a keyboard Apple USB C, the keys have been recorded, but it would still find a missing mouse and go anywhere else than the screen "You are looking for a Bluetooth mouse".

Back at work today, everything works: built-in and Bluetooth devices.

    Any suggestions?

Update: the built-in keyboard and trackpad now don't work at all, even when Bluetooth devices are connected.

    Hi dscamp,

I don't think it's a Firefox issue, but the keyboard shortcut is Ctrl + Alt + [key]. CTRL + Alt + up should put your monitor in the right direction.
