  I got my Yoga 3 14 2 months now and today it reacts suddenly strange. My keyboard does not work with certain keys, or is more responsive. I tried the system restore, safe mode, uninstall driver but that didn't work.

  I use the 11 Yoga (11 s not!) for three months now and there have been a few keyboard problems already before upgrading windows RT to 8.1. The portable physical keyboard in computer mode does not respond properly. Certain keys, in particular, a, s, d, k, l do not.   If you don't have a lot of documents, pictures etc on your hard drive, I suggest you to re - install the windows to check if this is the related issue of windows. If it is not an option, you can try to use windows restore.

  If these don't work, could be material. I don't know if you can manage but removal/replacement of the keyboard connector can do the trick. for 'how' you can see the manual.

  In my opinion your problem resembles a failure of internal keyboard.

  Just to be sure it would be problem keyboard, connect, then test the external USB keyboard.

  In case the keyboard problems does not appear by using the external keyboard, I would say that the internal keyboard needs to be replaced.

  I'm afraid that the resolution of this problem lies with Google. The Chrome browser does not trigger local keyboard in tablet mode. It is a desktop application that does not use the API of Windows 10 news for this feature. Personally, I doubt that Google will rush to remedy this.

  As you have discovered, Microsoft Edge brings up the local keyboard in tablet mode. IE11 goes.

  This is for devices that use the WebTop, which means the Atrix. It does nothing (that I know of) on the Xoom.

  I am really interested in buying a Yoga 2 "non Pro" in its edition of "stronger" (i5, 8 GB Ram & SSHD). Unfortunately, some sites show different pictures inside the laptop and so I'm not really sure how it actually looks like.

  The money of the Pro edition is only silver outside but entirely black inside (keyboard, touchpad & surrounding area) with décor a little "rough".

  On some Yoga 2 "non Pro" product photos in money is exactly the same (for example the site of Geizhals of German), but on others, it seems that the Interior is also in money and completely even (do not "rough").

  Just curious to know if anyone here has used the yoga 2 13 "model with Linux? I ordered a recently and I'm still waiting to happen, I've read some (older) comments that said compatibility was poor and some people say a lot of yoga-based questions have been fixed in recent kernels.

  Doing things like hang it, backlight, auto rotation, locking of the keyboard/touchpad laptop-mode, etc?

  Guess I'll answer my own question.

  With the exception of the reorientation of the screen works out of the box with kernel 3.17 + GNOME 3.12 (using arch linux, but that probably doesn't matter much if you use a modern kernel). Apparently older kernels are buggy with wifi.

  Pleasantly surprised. Only problem I've had is that the wireless card seems meh, at the beginning, I thought it was the drivers but further inspection, it seems that it's just not very good. The display is very high quality and overall it is a good laptop.

After I left my laptop to install the updates from HP Support Assistant (one of these being an update of the BIOS updates), I returned to find my computer restarted and my enlightened retro keyboard does not. After trying to use HP OMEN control to fix the keyboard, I found the keyboard flashes when I click "Apply to all Zones", but then immediately turns off again. Is it possible to fix this keyboard backlit ir question can we see an update in the near future that resolves this problem?

  Found a solution! Apparently, the keyboard stops after the update of the BIOS, so to reactivate just push F5.
