My printer HP Officejet Pro N911a 8F7F62 default to double-sided. Hold one side.

I've been printing one side of the paper until last week, but now no reason apparent, the box double-sided is selected in the print screen and I have to uncheck every time.  I can't locate the area where I can reset the next simple default value.  Could someone help me please?

Thanks a lot Simple1234.  It worked.  Very grateful to you.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium can scan double-sided legal format of the ATF documents?

I can't get the award-winning Officejet Pro 8600 to scan one side of a document of legal size of ATF.  I use Panel of the printer to scan to computer and save to the PDF format.  I select original: two-sided in the Panel.  The printer will scan only on one side and an error message appears saying that the tray supports that double-sided scanning for certain sizes of paper.

    Hello

    Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, the ADF can scan only 1-sides for legal-size documents.

You can, however, use the software to "Add pages" using glass as the example below.

    Hope that helps.

Please click "Bravo Thumbs up" on the left, if it helped you and 'Accept as solution' If this helped solved your problem.

    Hello

From your computer you can scan both sides using HP Easy Scan:

    https://iTunes.Apple.com/us/app/HP-easy-scan/id967004861?MT=12

In the menu presets, set the type of Document and the source as document feeder, and then check the box to scan both sides.

  • When you print envelopes Officejet Pro 8600

I replaced my set two Officejet 7410 due to age, with the top two Officejet Pro 8600. Default tray position #1 (above) works fine and prints the paper standard and photographic paper nicely. Lac #2 (bottom) may receive envelopes #10.

I use Win XP Pro service pack #3 and the suite MS Office (Word SP3) 2002. When I write a letter, it will be printed correctly in the default tray paper #1, Word allows you to go to the fall of the low 'TOOLS' to select "envelopes, their size, (#10), printing the job-oriented and if you want to add a postal bar code, and then you select the status bar (#2) and click on print.»

This is the problem, it is unable to select a #2 tray package, even after you ask him to take the envelope tray #2 (low) instead, it takes the default bin #1 a page and print the address on this subject information!

HP Tech support response was to "Exchange the trays' when printing envelopes! How lame is that? Over the years I owned the model 7410, I never been faced with this question...

Before buying the 8600, I asked him at dealerships and even supported HP, if the 8600 worked similarly to my 7410 loving... The consensus was Yes.

Which seems not to be true (at least for me). Please advise me how to solve this evolution very dissappointing. Thank you

  • I need a printer hp officejet pro 8600 for win2000 driver

Someone in the world has a print driver that works with a printer HP Officejet Pro 8600?

The Officejet Pro 8600 printer does not support Windows 2000.  I'm sorry.

However, there may be a workaround solution.  To clarify, I don't have a Windows 2000 system to test this with, and it can take a series of changes for the following steps to work with Windows 2000.  You may need to find the equivalent Windows 2000 for this process steps/formulation as it was done using Windows 7 (the process must be the same).

It sounds weird, but the Deskjet 990c driver will work for the Officejet Pro 8600, and there's a Windows 2000 driver that is available for download.  However, Windows Update already has this driver and it's easier to use it instead to extract the executable driver and ending.

Essentially, the printer must be added manually using the Deskjet 990c printer driver.  There may be other resources out there, but I found none on the HP site for the use of this driver instead of the Oifficejet 8600 driver. This will give you only the printing features and nothing else. In addition, there may be problems printing since this isn't an official driver for Windows 2000 for the 8600 (I have not noticed any problems when I did a few test prints).

    1. go where your printers are listed and select the option to add a printer.

    2. Select the option to add a local printer (maybe it's a network printer in Windows 2000).

    3. create a new Standard TCP/IP port.

    4. Enter the address of the printer in the field IP address Ip or host name.

    5. the selection of the pilot window should now be open.  Click Windows update will complete the printer selection screen (may take several minutes using Windows Update).  Select HP for the manufacturer and the printer Deskjet 990c for the printer.

6 the name of the printer. The default value will be the deskjet 990c since it is the driver used, but I recommend to name what the printer is so that we know what it is.

    7. the sharing screen appears.  If you share the printer, enter the appropriate information.  Otherwise, click Next.

    8. at this stage, the process could be completed.  Print a test page to confirm functionality.

  • Windows 8 drivers for the printer HP Officejet Pro 8600Plus

Where can I download windows drivers for the printer HP Officejet Pro 8600Plus 8?

I think I see what's happening. You have recently upgraded to Windows 8, and you don't have to uninstall and reinstall the software for your printer for the new OS. Now, nothing works as it should. Fortunately, this is a fairly simple solution. Uninstall the printer software and reinstall it using the packaging designed for Windows 8. I'll link the software below. Let me know what happens.

  • Re: Cannot reverse the order of printing HP Officejet PRO 8630

I bought a 8620 and had this problem with Quickbooks.  I called HP and they had me download a driver for a 9800 series printer.  At the time, I was using VISTA as an operating system... YEA I know... so I've upgraded to Windows 10.  The pilot of the 9800 series worked fine with VISTA system. You can change the option Back to front layout... it's what you need in any case to do this.  And it worked with the printer 8620.

I have now upgraded and have Windows 10 64-bit operating system and still have the printer 8620.  I am looking for a driver that works with your printer 8620 for Windows 10 64 bit Oprating system and has to HAVE THE ABILITY TO CHANGE the option print layout in the "back to the Front.

    That they are used?

  • OfficeJet Pro 8610: No desktop Windows 7 printing and Officejet Pro 8610

I bought and installed a new 8610 Officejet Pro about a month ago.  My desktop computer is a unit of HP Windows 7.  The printer is wireless.

Until a few days ago, everything worked fine, but now I can't print anything from my desktop computer.  Printing from my computer MacBook laptop works very well.  Printing from my iphone is fine.  Digitization of the desktop computer is fine.  Webprinting is fine.  The printer icon has a nice green checkmark in the devices folder.

I ran printing HP and doctor Scan, which claims to solve a problem of port, but does not solve the problem.

I use windows to troubleshoot the connection, claiming to make the printer available to my homegroup, but it does not solve the problem.

I tried to change the security settings for the spooler.  Has not solved the problem.

I can not manually stop and star the spooler via prompt back.  Said system 5, access denied error.

It's maddening.  I got rid of my old printer (which must be printed from the office) so that I could have a capacity of wireless printing, and now I have the ability wireless, but impossible to print from my desktop.  Aaaaggghhhhhh!

    Hey @steplaw,

Thanks for getting back to me on this subject. Now I'll have to charge you another Officejet driver on your product. Because the network connection is fine, and scanning is still fine, I do not think that the problem you are experiencing is connectivity or related software. This driver replacement, I'll have to charge you will work exactly the same way as the e-all-in-one printer driver Officejet Pro 8610. Therefore, you won't lose all the features by this fix. Please, try the following steps.

Step 1: Clear the temporary files:

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. In the box "search programs and files" located just above to start after you click on it, type %temp% , and then press enter on your keyboard
    3. When the Temp folder opens, select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard. Everything in this folder will highlight now.
    4. Select the "delete" button on your keyboard. The Temp folder contains the temporary internet files. None of the actual files or folders on your computer will be affected by deleting Temp files. A Temp file should you will automatically get the pop up to 'jump' this point.
    5. Close the Temp folder when it is empty
    6. Right-click the recycling bin on your desktop and select empty recycling bin

Please proceed to the next step.

    Step 2: Load driver replacing:

    1. Please click hereto download the Officejet driver
    2. Once the download is complete, you can get a command prompt to run the download. If you see the prompt run, please let it run.
    3. An extraction should now take place. When the extraction is complete, an install window can jump open. Please close windows install everything. You do not want to run a facility.
    4. Then, click on the Start menu. In the box "search programs and files" type folder and press enter on your keyboard
    5. When the Temp folder opens, find the file 7z. Click this folder to open it. It should include files that say OJ860
    6. At the top of this file, you will see a file path bar. It may show something like "computer - disc Local C - users - AppData - Local - Temp - 7z... " Left click on the right side of this path to file on the top bar. The path should now highlight.
    7. Right click on the highlighted file path and select copy
    8. Close the Temp folder
    9. Click on the Start menu
    10. Select the devices and printers
    11. Right click on your HP Officejet 8610
    12. Left click on printer properties
    13. Left click on the Advanced tab
    14. Left-click on new driver
    15. When the new window opens driver hit please 'Next' until you see a list of manufacturers and Printers
    16. Click the "disk" button at the bottom right
    17. When the "install from disk" window opens, we simply right click on the file path bar and 'Paste' in the path to the copied file previously.

  • Printer HP Officejet Pro 8100 & custom paper sizes

Found all useful instructions on creating new formats of paper custom in Windows 7. But am complete novice & need to buy a printer for a charity. Installs on this model because of good reviews, but more work will be 1 document of custom paper size. Need to know if the instructions are foolproof! (Before spending their money.)

    Hello invqn,

After some detailed research, as well as installing the Pro 8100 (and other products) on a Windows 7 system, we determined the 8100 Pro does not support custom sizes: this is by design and intent.

Note that one of our engineers proposes to use a different set of drivers (from an older device) as a possible workaround, but it is not proven and could be used to limit your overall functionality of the device.

However, we have confirmed that a newer device which is currently, the HP Officejet Pro 8610 (8620 or 8630) e-all-in-one, supports the formats customized; Here is the multifunctional printers.

By following the instructions in the link you sent, you can create new forms with custom formats and it will be displayed in the properties of the printer to get a job / select. It supports custom formats of 3,00 x 8.50 x 14.00 5.00 in. in.

Our intention is only to provide information about what we know; you could take a moment and perhaps see if a representative Marketing HP might be able to give you more information, but that's what we have.

    We hope this helps...

  • I installed a driver for my printer Hp Officejet Pro L7380. How to connect the printer to the computer that works with windows vista?

I installed a driver for my printer Hp Officejet Pro L7380. I can print from my computer and it detected that it, I can't scan anything on my computer because it is not connected. I have tryied Conect it but can not select. So my question is, how I connect printing to computer?

Specify that you are trying to scan a document Hp Officejet Pro L7380 to your Vista machine.  It has only a single computer attached, or is it a printer networked with other computers?

If you have installed the base drivers and not the additional software that allows scanning etc so maybe it's why you fail.

    Have a look here.

    Software & Driver Downloads
    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?OS=2093&LC=en&cc=au&DLC=en&sw_lang=&product=3198092#n190

It might be possible with just the base drivers, for other software, such as your Photo editing programs, including painting, for import documents or images from the scanner.  Windows Fax and Scan can be able to do.  When you go in such programs are there options scan and they see your scanner?  If this is not the case, try the full download.

If you want to of HP to make scanning programs, you may need the-base drivers and software (larger download).

For my HP ' All in one ' works like a scanner, it was necessary for me to download all drivers and software.

  • Printer HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus works but the Scanner does not

I recently bought a Toshiba laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.  My previous laptop is a Toshiba also upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.  I have a printer HP Officejet Pro 8600 more all-in-one printer.  The printer/scanner works fine with my laptop more older but with the new laptop that I can't get to the printer.  I am not able to get the scanner to work.  I reloaded the software several times but the scanner still does not work.  The scanner works fine with laptop more old, even if it has the same operating system.  I get an error message that says "Scan of the computer is turned on.  You can start a scan from the printer.  Your computer is not listed as an available computer control panel of the printer.  If please restart your printer and try again. "Can anyone help with this?

    Hi ranjisamaraweera,

Even though I'm MVP I represent Microsoft or speak. If I can and will speak
    as I think.

The proper functioning of the printer and Scanner is the direct responsibility of the producer of material
and no windows. There are hundreds of these devices that work correctly on Windows 7 if
those who don't have no drivers and other interfaces which are not compatible to Windows 7 should be
written correctly. Of course many older devices are not supported by their creators for later
Versions of Windows. Microsoft passes but does not write drivers and interfaces
Printers and Scanners need to function properly. So, the manufacturer and no one else, is totally
Manager to see if there are interfaces and appropriate drivers.

Many device makers do not write new drivers and interfaces for older hardware because either
they cannot support the new methods or because they want to sell new hardware.

Personally, I don't think that Microsoft is lying because they also say that device manufacturers have the
Omos unique to provide the necessary compatible drivers and interfaces.

    I hope this helps.
