'Lenovo settings' should have an icon for the backlit keyboard, so that you whithin this app/program could activate. My Lenovo settings app doesn't have this icon. It has many options to configure most of the functions for my ideapad 700, but nowhere in this program to find something on the backlit keyboard.

  I don't know if its removal for Ideapad 700, or in the version of Win 10 parameters of Lenovo?

  In any case my space cleary States my keyboard should have backlit keyboard, because it has the icon on the space bar.

  I'm starting to think it might be a hardware failure and if so I'll return it and get a new computer 700 ideapad.

  Basically, if it isn't a backlight icon engraved on the SPACEBAR, then your particular model doesn't have a backlit keyboard. I fear she is as simple as that.

  Hmm...  I just noticed on my backlit keyboard.  The smile.  Intended to be like that, I guess.

  I suspect that, while we might have difficulty finding all the other keys on the table, is expected to find the space bar.

  You could paint the SPACEBAR with a reflective paint around the edge - in this way it arise a little more.  Reflective paint can be purchased at the train miniature / toy stores as well as the tiny brushes to apply paint.

  I got this laptop two days ago and I already realized that I cannot get my backlight keyboard, even though it says on the label next to the touchpad it is a backlit keyboard model. I have checked everywhere and can't find out how he backlight. I tried FN + Z and it did not work, the only thing that works with the FN is F (F1 - F12) keys and it's really frustrating because the backlit keys is a great thing for me, I chose the model on the model for this reason i5 i7 exact.

  I can t say much about your model because it model s a U.S. (shown in the US page), but are you sure there's backlit keyboard?
  Have you checked the specs on Toshiba U.S. page and what is the seller say about this feature?

  With regard to mode:
  Intel Core i7 has normally 4 cores and 8 wires, Yes, but I doubt that you can control mode because it will be controlled automatically.
  Just BIOS make sure using the settings by default and that s it.

  I checked the specs on the official website of Toshiba's Satellite Pro T130 and it seems this model isn't t equipped with backlit keyboard and insofar as all T130 models using a standard keyboard of half bright.
