  have spent my day hole my brother but still no idea what could be this error. After this EPA 8.0 project and edit now with the new garage version 10.0 bougt, everything was fine... Opened and saved several times, but today there was suddenly in trouble: still a new comprehensive project with the same material and the same cut is now broken after saving and does it...

  I tried everything so long: new facility, opening the project damaged on another computer with ELements 8.0 (error identical also there), removing shapes, by deleting the Prefs, loading of automatic backup (also damaged) and so on... Another 'test-project"I created with 2 clips works very well... I do not know what else... The project is just a 'normal' with 20 Minutes HD project and 20 Clips...

  All about google (about 8 sites) I tried--without success so far... :-(

  After getting some advice from you on the possible cause of this error, I was able to repair my project and I would like to give you my ideas...

  First, I downloaded the project file in the Windows editor. By comparing the file to a previously saved version that worked well, I found the following:

  At one point PE10 corrupts the file .prel by inserting ',' numbers in decimal instead of the necessary '. ' for the as well as for the tags. The correct syntax for these two tags seems to be as follows:

  -xxxx, yyyy, 0, 0, z, z, z, z.

  -xxxx, yyyy, 0, 0, z, z, z, z.

  XXXX is a 17 digit number (integer)

  YYYY is a number (decimal) z or a.: z z. beach or a Boolean value (true or false)

  z is a decimal number (number followed by a ".")

  In my corrupted file .prel, all the numbers that were supposed to be 'z' were actually 'z', which caused the error.

  Only some of the occurrences of this error can be captured by the script described above, namely to replace the ',' followed by 12 or 24 '0' with a '. '. Unfortunately, there are a lot of other occurencences that need to be addressed in order to fix the .prel file. You can get a number of algorithms to speed up the process of replacing the wrong ',' with '. "

  Search for example ", 000000" and replace by ".". 000000 "(comme le scipt ci-dessus) but you should also take into account"

  Search for ', "and replace by".,

  Search for "0.5" and replace it with "0.5"

  Search for «,»<" and="" replace="" it="" by=""><  etc.,="" you="" get="" the="">

  This list is not complete, always look for manually some odd numbers! However, as you progress to the replacement of the wrong ',' you will see the perceantage of the PREL loading successfully to increase and at the end of the day file (plus one hour really) the file load completely. I have not tried to fully automate the process. Hope this has been an effort of time!

  The procedure described above is a pain in the neck, but if your son has spent a whole weekend on a project, it is worth! Hope it will work for you as well. Adobe should be able to easily fix. Good luck!

• EP 13 debug event keyframe error h-142

  When I opened my registered previously and project work, I get a debug event with a keyframe h-142 message (see below).

  

  Workaround suggested in the help of adobe under error Keyframe.h - 142 | Projects does not work. I guess because PE13 PREL files are not plain text like ss12 and, previously, as a result, workaround with perl will not produce the required results.

  Same problem with all THE backup files in this project...

  Any suggestions?

  I was able to fix the file with the information in the post Re: error of 10 items: d:\pre\mediacore\mediafoundation\api\inc\Keyframe/Keyframe.h-142

  Here are the steps I did:

  (1) rename my corrupt.prel to corrupt.zip file (by opening the file in notepad ++, I saw a lot of gibberish and thought the file can be compressed, that is.) I don't know if this is only the case in PE13).

  (2) unzip the corrupt.zip and rename it to corrupt2.prel

  (3) download perl and run the following commands:

  C:\Perl64\bin>Perl Pei e ' s / ([-0-9] +?),([0-9]{12,24}) / $1.» "$2/g ' corrupt2.prel > corrupt3.prel

  Pei e C:\Perl64\bin>Perl s /([-0-9]+?) « \. ([0-9] {12.24}); ([0-9] {15}) /$1.$2,$3/g ' corrupt3.prel > corrupt4.prel.

  (4) open the file in notepad ++ and

  Search for ', "and replace by".,

  Search for "0.5" and replace it with "0.5".

  Save the file

  There, who did it for me. The fixed file doesn't have to be compressed again to open in PE13.

  I am trying to upgrade my M40 - 142 (win XP) with 2x1GB memory modules. the initial memory is a single unit of 512 MB. When I remove and replace with 2 new modules of the system starts.
  If I leave the original memory in the slot and add only a single module 1 GB system startup and total ram 1.5 GB.
  If I use a single module of the new memories, the system is not to start again.

  I tried to update the bios to the latest version but when I run the .exe is an error and I am not able to run it.

  looking at the specifications of the motherboard should support the upgrade of memory 2x1GB.

  I guess you used the memory modules live all simply not compatible.

  The laptop s RAM can be certainly upgraded up to 2 GB of RAM (2 x 1 GB), but you must use simply compatible and God quality modules.

  Cheap may be not compatible or defective.

  I recently bought a laptop from Toshiba Satellite M50-142. The reason why I bought it must be mobile, laptop didn't need a lot of space and is silent.

  Simply insert the recovery CD and the start of their share.
  The restore CD contains the OS from Microsoft, Toshiba drivers, tools and additional software.

• Equium L10-142 - battery won't load

  I've had my Equium L10-142 for about four years now, and I know that it is long enough for a laptop. Last year I had problems with the battery that refuses to load at all and more in the past months, the cable ca now seems to be worse and worse.

  Now my laptop only stay on for a few minutes at a time when it is connected, the "low battery" WARNING continues to appear and keeps yellow light "plugged in" turn off, signaling that in a few seconds the machine turns off. Sometimes stirring done cable the light back on and the computer continues to run for a little while, so I thought that maybe there was a problem with the connectors for the power cable.

  To be honest I know very little about computers, but I need trying to get my phone working again and I don't want to have to pay someone a lot of money just to tell me that my computer is too old and that it is just packaging.

  Any ideas if there is a solution? Is there something I can do? A spare battery or a spare cable would make the case or is there no hope?

  First of all, you should know that after a long period of use (charge/discharge) battery will discharge the own performance and only a battery replacement would help to operate the laptop with battery.

  But it should be able to run Notepad by using the adapter usually it should be a problem!

  The battery in my old notebook lasts for about 2 min even it s full of 7 years :D
  I removed the battery and use the laptop as a desktop PC. He always says on my table, connected to a power adapter.

  I think that your laptop must always run on the sector, even if the battery is dead.

  As far as I know two DDRII SO-DIMM up to 2 GB can be improved through expansion memory slot.
