Now, the real keyboard lock is the button locking real on the side or on the device... but this is simply a keypad lock and committed is no longer the password (if you have one). If you assign a device password and wish to lock with the password until the expiration time has been reached, you must use the "Password lock" icon which should be on your BB (look around and turn on "Show all" or "Show Hidden").
