My speakers produce an ear piercing rumble sometimes that does not seem to be associated with a particular activity. Any ideas as to the source and the possible fix?

It seems that the problem associated with my video/audio card that has been recently replaced due to the failure of a similar video/audio card earlier.

(ViXS Pure TV-U4888 NTSC/ATSC Combo).

Hi G_N_P_HL,

1. did you other changes on the computer?

2. when the problem occur?

3. when and how does the ear piercing rumbling stops?

First, make sure you don't have any programs or applications or in the course of performance when the problem occurs.

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you perform a clean boot and check.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

(a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

(b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

(c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

(d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

I hope this helps!

I got my pc for years and never had this problem until recently.
Most of the time the sound does not work, but sometimes when I restart (and sometimes when I'm warming up stand-by) the sound will return.

When it works it lasts as long as the PC is on, but it the PC itself will be down due to overheating sometimes, and even if it does not, I do not leave all the time.

When the sound does not work I can not play with the exception of windows media videos.
Any youtube or videos of the similar site will only play for about two seconds and then pause, no noise at all.
    Same thing for my iTunes.

When the sound does not work I can play iTunes all night, but when it isn't the songs does not play again. The cursor remains just at 0:00.

Is there something I can do?

    Hello

As a first step, the fact is that this laptop is pretty old. I think around 4 years. Am I right about that? There may be a lot of dust on the inside and as a result you have it sometimes overheat issue. May be time to clean the laptop.

If is also possible through these overheating problems is something faulty now. It may be that some contacts (associated sounds) are not much more and the contact is it sporadically. To be honest, to me that sounds like hardware related issue. I really don't think you can do much alone. Maybe try to make clean OS install and see what happens. If the problem persists or you have to get an external solution or takes it to the authorized service provider.

Why, when I send an email using windows mail (RoadRunner ISP) sometimes it does not transmit the image that are in the original.

Some messages are not complying with the standards of the Internet and the images do not show before their delivery.  You can overcome this by transmitting the message as an attachment instead, and then the images will be intact.

  • Sometimes, A6600F does not connect to internet

I am running Vista home Premium 64-bit. Sometimes the cursor circle turns, and I can't connect to internet unless I restart the computer.

It seems that the computer working on something, how I see which program is causing the cursor to rotate? Please explain in simple terms.

    Thank you

    Tfinder96

The rotation cursor indicates that the computer is busy and the mouse cannot be used at this time.

This solution isn't simple, but it's what I do when I look at some software programs that are causing a system to slow down:

Press on and hold down the CTRL + SHIFT + ESC (in that order), then release.

    A Task Manager window opens.

Click the applications tab and you will see all the software programs that are open.

Stop on the right is a status"" column.

If anything is "not responding", then the software that has the problem.

If you want to delve deeper, you can click the process tab.

The process tab lists all the types of "tasks" that are running. Tasks are also software, but they are at a lower level than Software Applications - in other words, there may be 5 tasks that make up an application.

The process selected, tab click CPU word at the top of the list twice - up to something other that a zero is listed at the top of the CPU column. It sorts all tasks in the amount of work they do. The more, the more this task is slowing down the system.

It can be difficult to understand which tasks are associated with an application. But usually the first characters identify what software is owned with... for example, tasks that begin with IE are related to Internet Explorer, WU are usually Windows Update, taskmgr = tsk Manager (window that comes to open).

  • Sometimes, windows does not start immediately

original title: BOOT XP PRO PROBLEM

I have Win XP Pro. Sometimes windows will not start immediately. I try to restart sometimes on 10 times or more, but not always, a lot. Suddenly, windows will be open on one of the trys. I always try to "last good" and "start windows normally".  Windows sometimes opens on either of these orders. It's annoying, but windows never fails to open later. Sometimes, there is no problem with it open.  I have read and checked the material, and they work properly he said. I'm not a computer technician, so I'm very careful about what get involved with. Anyone has an idea on how I can fix this? I don't want to repair or reinstall XP, because I've done this before, but this problem seems to persist much matter what I do.

Your computer stops is correctly when you initiate a stop?

From the third-party application, it resembles a form of spyware/malware - directed and download HijackThis and paste the content of your log file. Do not change anthing at this stage.

Make a start > run > cmd > chkdsk c: /f /r > say Yes for Windows to check the next time you start of disc opon. Note the time and restart. When chkdsk is complete, go to start > run > eventvwr. Go to the submenu Application and look for an eventlog with the name 'WINLOGON' which is your time. Open it and click the button copy and paste the results here.

  • Sometimes sound does not play when you play multiple sounds simultaneously

It is also a matter of best practices, too.

I built a game that uses many different sounds (about 48 I think). Many are short, less than a second and a few are longer, of the music cues, etc..

Example problem: sometimes when there are a lot of play sounds and a music signal is supposed to fire, the sound of the music does not play. I did a trace on the function that plays the sound music and performs this function. Are there limits to how sounds can play at the same time? (It does not only happen to a particular sound, could be any noise)

Also, regarding best practices, if there is a sound that could be played several times at the same time, a new instance of the noise must be created each time as its played? If there is that a single instance of this noise, will be the previous reading of this noise cancelled when it is called for replay?

    Thank you

    Adam

There is a soundchannel 32 limit (which may exist at a given time) imposed by the flash player.  all two identical sounds may not play in a number of ms on the other.  There is no perceptible advantage and refusing the deductions that you may be able to play the sounds that are noticeable.

  • Flag that Pick and a flag as rejected, sometimes simply does not work

Another day another Lightroom not work and confuse me for a resolution.

Since my last post, I've improved cache of Lightroom to 50 GB size - there is so much space for the cache to play with.

But now, sometimes, every once in a while, just Lightroom leaves to do anything. I mean, it could work, then not work, then again. This is really disturbing to the workflow and means having to kill and restart the program every 3-5 minutes to apply for 'work' checked.

Only with Lightroom. all other programs work very well.

Video: here I'll put in the image/s to the flag as Pick and mark as rejected and the indicator never appears and the images rejected gray never out:

    VID_20160321_112057.MP4 - Google Drive

You can see "Set have rejected" overlay appear, but then... nothing.

Is there another setting , I can change to ensure keyboard controls actually do their job and the program is not having the hiccups and quit work as expected?

    Thank you for your advice.

  • Does not print, sometimes will not, save in no hard fix.

    Hi people,

FYI: I have Firefox 33.0.3 currently running on a Dell Dimension 8300 with 1.5 GB of RAM under XP SP3. Until recently, I never had a problem with any version of Firefox; I've used since it first came out and since then and it updated. I use a Cricket modem to connect to the Web via cellular phone system. All this worked perfectly until these last few months.

Now, when I'm online and try printing I hear the Windows default "exclamation" and nothing happens. I tried all that offers this site and it works until I log on next time. There is no problem with any other application. Lately, I can't save sometimes even Web pages. I have reset Firefox several times, downloaded the latest version, etc. that does not. Please don't make my use this horrible Microsoft browser!

    Thanks for any help.

    FredMcD, jscher2000'

Thank you for your help. I tried the solution from Microsoft, but it was useless; When I used the link provided the app jscher2000 actually locked up my system.

In any case: problem solved! All we needed was running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. (I thought I had already done this, do not.)

He found entries a lot in the beginning registry by 'PUP '. "Optional", such as ducts, SearchProtect.A, SaveSense. I don't know what any of them do but when they are placed in quarantine Firefox can now print, save the pages, etc.

I hope this helps the next time some dummy like me has similar problems.

  • Satellite L300D - sometimes it takes forever to start or does not start

    Anyone able to help me?

Sometimes it takes me an eternity to boot up my laptop and sometimes it does not start at all and I get sent to the start screen repair and which translates a unable to repair press ok to turn off the computer message. Whenever I get to start a laptop program always crashes with some answers takes about an hour.

I used the recovery disks, I did when I was told to do, first used the labtop about 5 times so far. Whenever I've restored the system it works very well for about 1 hour until that I had to install the Windows updates.

Anyone able to help me on this problem of mine?

As already written boarder is not easy to say why this is happening. With own laptop preinstalled, obviously, everything works fine.

So what you need to do is to disable the automatic update of Windows.
Chose the option check for updates but let me choose when... and before enable update checking the list of all the available updates.
Be sure only important updates will be installed. Do not install the updates defined as optional.

  • EAS 9.3.1.4 ServicePack does not contain of eas.ear

    Hello Experts,

One of my clients has the following question:

Currently at version 9.3.1.0.0.135 EA and version 9.3.1.0.0 for Essbase. They have downloaded the Service Pack 9.3.1.4 EAS and extract the zip file and the setup.jar file but the packaging does not seem to contain the new file eas.ear for the deployment. Initially, when you configure 9.3.1 environment, they deployed manually all the files from the ear to Weblogic 9 application as per the 9.3.1 Server installation guide.
9.3.1.4 EAS service guide installation pack readme file instructions only reference the 9.3.1 original, but given that the manual deployment of the 9.3.1 instructions original installation to install guide original is chosen, they are now stuck with having to deploy updates and service packs manually as well manually.

Do you know how we can get the 9.3.1.4 eas.ear file and all others associated with EAS files upgrade so that they can deploy to WebLogic and perform the upgrade manually?

    Environment:

    EAS on Solaris 32-bit servers

Any suggestions would be a great help.

    Kind regards
    Jingle

    Hi Lisa,

One option may be that you redeploy AAS on Weblogic with the auto deploy instead of manual and then proceed to AAS 9.3.1.4.This maybe not the best option, but something that can be done.

I plugged in my processor, but is yet to produce a sound. What will I do? help someone

OK Chief, need you to check your connections at the rear of your monitor.

Just follow the cables at the back of the monitor.

If you are currently a 'green' speaker cable goes into the Green Speaker Jack and a cable VGA/D-Sub 'blue' enter the Monitor Out jack then you monitor is properly connected. If this is the case and you have no noise, then I recommend that you check the sound on the monitor, located control via the menu via the small buttons on the front of the screen. These default speakers have value 0 (i.e. no sound)

If these cables are not connected, but the singular usually 'black' HDMI cable is connected to the HDMI then you audio and video are connected via a single cable. Then, follow the steps to check that the volume on the monitor control is increasing.

Finally, if none of these explanations fit the Bill, can not connected audio. In which case VGA or HDMI, you now know how to connect to them.

If all else fails, you must make sure computer volume is up, you should see a small speaker icon bottom left of your taskbar (Windows Vista).

This should be located near the clock, left-click on it to bring up the volume control. Also, make sure that it is not silent.

In short all what you need check the Audio drivers, which is a simple right-click on the just same Volume control, we have played with and then click on "Adjust Audio properties". If it is not something in there like Realtek Audio drivers, then're missing us Audio drivers.

Running through it all and get back to me.
